Sammy glanced over at him without moving her head. "Maybe I would, maybe I wouldn't...but no I wouldn't." She looked back toward the ipod and nodded at his reasoning. "That's a good point. Still, I think it would probably be better if you scrolled the list, being I only recently met her and all." She chuckled a little, suddenly remembering. "Besides, you know the name of the song you're looking for, not me." OOC: Yeah, pretty much.
What? Oh no...I wish I could help. Would kinda help if he had a wishlist...heh. ^^'

Nodding, he picked up the ipod and started to look.
"Yes, and should there be any wrath brought down, I shall bear the brunt of it. Heh, or all of it."
Flashing her a quick grin as he teased, he went back to looking for the song he had in mind.
"No mind reading abilities, Sammy my dear? No need to fret, I was not blessed with them either."

Nothing to fret about, I think I wrote something fairly decent in response. )) ((Heh, I know. I may not have known what to gift you, but I think I got my thoughts across. At least, I do hope I did. ))

It was hard not to picture Minty dropping from the ceiling and tackling him to the floor for touching her ipod. Sammy shook her head, trying not to burst out laughing for no reason. Stifling it well, she looked up with shimmering eyes, just the faintest start of tears making them shine. "No, sadly. But then, it's nice when life surprises you."OOC: Luckily I have the whoooole day off today... *stretches out in chair* =w=

At last the song title caught his eye and he missed her near lapse into fits of laughter.
"Surprises are nice at times. And in a touch of a surprise, I rather quickly found what I was looking for. Shall I play it?"

"Absolutely." she encouraged, folding her hands behind her and rolling back on her heels a little. She was curious and eager to see what he chose.OOC: Oh I intend to. ^^

Setting the song to play, he held out a hand to her.
"Join me, Sammy my dear."
Once he had her hand, he'd draw her in and his other hand would rest on her waist.

Sammy tilted her head, listening to the beginning of the song and trying to see if she could place the name. Soon as she could spot his silhouette approaching in her peripheral vision, she looked back in his direction. "Mm." she agreed with a nod and pleasant smile. "Why would I hurt yo-- Oh!!" Caught off guard, the princess finds herself dancing with one of her best friends in the guild. After a moment of getting herself together, she smiles, letting Charlie do all the leading while she follows his movements.
"I'm not going to hurt you, silly man. I do wish you would ask me next time, though." Rae was going to put her foot down on that front, metaphorically speaking, of course. She would do her best not to step on her partner's feet. At least not on purpose.
