Huey, having successfully held back his tears, looked up at Isis once she'd placed a hand on his head. His face scrunched up before relaxing, an undiscernible expression crossing over. "Then..." his sentence cut short and the boy fell back into thoughtful silence. "Mmm." he hummed quietly to himself, the sound muffled by his tightly pressed lips, and shifted himself once more. If he thought about it, this must've been quite the odd scene to come across: three people, two of them crying, squashed together, a Croconaw on one of their legs, with two other pokemon standing by. Leon brought up some good points, and the seriousness in which he delivered those words... the young boy was almost positive that Isis would change her mind. She just had to. Everyone else was just so adamant about her staying in the present timeline; keeping safe.
And then everything went to hell.
Huey grunted as he found himself suddenly on the ground, his leverage in Isis now gone as the woman had jumped up to help Hinata, who'd suddenly found herself tangled in a net. "W-what?" his eyes widened in panic and confusion, head swiveling to Isis, Atona, Leon, and the three strangers who'd appeared out of no where. One of which had already been disabled by Atona's Aura Sphere. From behind Huey, a certain ice-type fumed. She'd had enough of.... whatever this was! Black wisps began to swirl together between her hands, compressed and strengthened to increase the damage of her attack. When she felt it ready, Yuki launched a Shadow Ball into the gut of the man who seemed to be in charge.
Back and forth until his head snapped until the world had become a confusing mess of blurred images, and the boy barely noticed when he found himself physically moving backwards. "Yuki!?" the familiar cold that enveloped him was his only clue to just who was pulling him away... away from the others, and Isis who needed help. "No, wait! We need to help--"'NO!' the power in her voice caused him to flinch, and he went limp. 'I am sick and tired of you being put in danger! You need to remember that you are a child! And in dangerous situations, children need to get as far away from the danger as they can.' her words stung, but not from the passion in which she delivered them but rather the truth in her words. Still though.. he refused to just standby! "I know that, but I still want to help!" he yanked his arms away, scrambling out of Yuki's and running towards Isis. He stumbled only lightly, crouching down to take a handful of net and tugging. "Isis... Hinata, let me help you." another chill signaled Yuki's arrival, and the young boy frowned down at his work. "Yuki, please just..."'I'll help as well.' two pale hands came down to curl around the edge of the net, adding on to the group who were trying to help free the Celebi.

Leon's brows furrowed at Isis' response to him. He put his hands on her shoulders and looked her in the eyes. "Look! I don't like not having been able to do more. Sure, it sounds great to be able to just turn back time and fix things. I'd love to not have any blood on my hands - heck, i'd love to just go back and reverse all that ********, or just leave myself out of it entirely. But that won't do any good, would it? The past can't always be picture perfect... and i'm pretty sure that messing with time can really fu-" Leon told her in an even more serious tone, a hint of frustration seeping in. The raven haired male was cut off as something shot past him, accompanied by voices.
The dark haired male let go of Isis, turning around after seeing Hinata get caught in a net. It seemed there were some grunts of some kind of 'bad guy' group. Certainly didn't seem like anyone he'd encountered before. Isis' Lucario dealt a heavy blow to a grunt, and Kai jumped up, ready to help. "Alright Kai. Let's do this." Leon said, pulling out Nova's pokeball. The croconaw seemed to get the gist of the situation, and launched himself at the grunt that was heading over towards Isis, chomping down hard on his leg with icy fangs. Leon was going to keep the others away with the lucario, sending out Nova. He hadn't been conscious for her transformation, so he was a bit surprised to find that instead of a noibat, a noivern came out. The dragon cooed, immediately snuggling it's face into leon's hair, hugging him with her wings. She was happy to see her trainer up again, and well! "Nova...? Uh- wait, now's not the time, Nova! Would you mind using gust to keep these guys away?" Leon said, unable to keep the smile from his face as her snuffling in his hair tickled. The Noivern let out a slightly disappointed sound at first, but then she hopped forward, stretching out her larger wings and giving them a mighty flap, sending quite the gust at the remaining guys. However, as an added effect, Nova teetered and fell on her back clumsily from the force of her own attack, still not used to her new body. "Good job, Nova!" the raven haired male encouraged his pokemon, despite the fact that she had fallen over. The Noivern looked up at her trainer with a grin before getting back to her feet, ready to fight more if needed.

✿ ❀ Isis tried to comfort Huey as best as she could, promising that she wasn't going to die, at least not anytime soon. All people died eventually but Isis wasn't going to get technical with Huey right now; at least quieted down. However, Isis couldn't help but get a little upset with Leon when he seemed to side with Atona on the matter of time travel. She didn't like yelling at Leon, but she felt like she was fighting a losing battle and she didn't like it. Leon stood his ground however, the serious look never leaving his face as he firmly but gently placed his hands on her shoulders and bade her to listen. He was just as frustrated as she was, Isis knew she tended to have that effect on people when she got bullheaded, she was just sorry she was taking it out on Leon. He made sure to look her in the eyes, admitting that it would be great to turn back time and save Ebony, or even cut themselves out of the Halloween Ball entirely, but it wouldn't do any good, because-- well, he didn't get much of a chance to explain himself.
The group was suddenly assaulted by a troublemaking trio in uniform, firing nets at Hinata and making to try and grab her, but what they didn't expect was all the pokemon fighting them back. Atona put a sucker punch on one of the goons with an Aura Sphere, the authority figure soon followed when Yuki threw a Shadow Ball his way, and the third was prevented from snatching Hinata away by Kai chomping down on his leg and freezing it solid. He cursed loudly and used his other leg to kick and stomp at Kai in a frenzy, trying to get the Croconaw off. he other two had recovered from their assaults and were standing again, only to be blown off balance again with a strong gust from Nova.
Isis was glad to have Huey and Yuki's help, even though Yuki at first wanted to keep Huey away from the damgerous situation, and rightfully so, Isis still nodded appriciatively to the two as they came over to assist untangling Hinata from the net, and together they managed to untangle the frightened Celebi. Hinata floated up weakly, giving the three a small smile in thanks. With that, the whole scene finally seemed to slow down, not only that, but things grew quieter too, save for the light tingling of Hinata's bell. Soon, the world began to warp around them, and Isis felt the familiar feeling of being pulled in all directions; time travel. No doubt about it, Hinata was sending them through time to escape. Isis grimaced and waited for the sensations to be over, and with a final chime of bells, Isis slowly opened her eyes, though the world was still spinning. "Urghhh....." Isis sank to her hands and knees to let the nausea pass. This didn't usually happen, but maybe the travel was a bit less stable since she had sent so many of them through time at once. "Hinata.... Hinata how far back did you send us...?" Isis asked weakly.
Isis noticed her Xtransciever blinking, having gotten a message just before the time traveling. It was from a rather panicked sounding Marx who had just come to his senses. Well, sending a message to him now might not work out, first Isis had to figure out where and when they were. Isis made a mental note to text him as soon as she could. "Sorry Marx..." There wasn't much to the task at hand: untangle and pull the net off of the small legendary. It should've been easy. Unfortunately, that difficulty of this task didn't take into consideration the adrenaline that coursed through Huey's body and his acute fear. Who were those people, and what did they want with Isis' pokemon!? His fingers still trembling, the boy tried his best to ignore what was happening behind him. But, from the noise and Leon shouting he gleamed that the older male was taking care of the other uniformed men. Finally, finally, the small Celebi was free, and a shaky smile spread across the boy's face. He slumped back, pulling his arms around himself. 'Huey, you helped them out. Now, let's--' the single chime of a bell interrupted her words and it was only then did the two take notice of their surroundings. "Isis!" his head snapped towards the girl. "W-what's going on?" his question would go unanswered, however, as a strange feeling overcame him. It was one hard to describe, but the end result was crystal clear.
He tried to stand, only to toddle backwards and stumble. "I don't... feel too good." he slurred, and allowed himself to follow his own uneven steps back to the ground. Huey stared steadily at the ground, until the shifting and splitting grass became one again and his stomach no longer regretted his morning breakfast of sweets. Off to the side, he heard Isis ask her pokemon a rather odd question. His mind, still reeling, took a few moments to connect the dots, but when he did he bolted up; much to his later regret. "We went.. back in time?" the blonde nearly tripped over his shoes as he spun around, taking in the forest area in mere seconds. The forest didn't look too different... but, those goons weren't here. Huey scratched at his head, wobbling lightly as his body came to a stand still. "Is everyone alright?" it was the next question out of his mouth, and he approached Yuki hesitantly. Despite a little nausea, she seemed relatively okay. The tight hug she trapped him with certainly was an indication to her health.

Kai grunted as he was kicked at, biting down harder before backing off to avoid more hits. The Croconaw shook his head, then shot a stream of water at the grunt's face to keep him back. Leon looked over his shoulder to his starter, noticing the Celebi being freed from the net not too long after. However, something strange happened before he could even say anything. There was only the sound of Hinata's bell as their surroundings seemed to warp. Nova flopped down on the ground dizzily, and Leon struggled to remain standing through his own disorientation. Then, it stopped.
"s**t..." he cursed under his breath, looking around. They still seemed to be in the forest, but some things just seemed... different. And it wasn't just the absence of the grunts. The hair on the back of his neck bristled a bit as he heard Isis ask her Celebi how far back they had been sent. How far back..."W-what.... " Leon muttered in disbelief. Then, he was almost too scared to touch anything. <********... we went back in time... holy ******** s**t..." he cursed under his breath, running his hands back through his hair as he panicked a bit. ✿ ❀ Isis gave Huey a look of sympathy as he claimed he didn't feel good. Traveling back in time itself wasn't the most pleasant experience, this being the boy'd first time plus the added nausea from sending such a large group all at once had to be hard on the blonde haired boy. "D-deep breaths Huey, sit still for a while until the dizziness passes okay?" Isis insisted, watching the boy gather his bearings and weakly ask if they'd gone back it time. "Yeah.... Looks like it. You're officially a time traveler Huey~" Isis said cheerily, trying to make light of the situation. Leon still seemed to be coming to grips, Isis could hear him cursing under his breath and her mouth couldn't help but twitch into a smile with amusement.
Glancing over at Leon however, Isis gave a gasp of surprise. "O-oh my....." She bit her lip, trying her damnedest not to laugh, oh but it was too funny. She covered her smile with a hand and failed to suppress a snort. "L-leon, don't freak out okay...? Time travel has it's way of marking you sometimes a-and...." Isis lost it then, laughing hysterically. "If you don't like it you can dye it, it's better than having to wear a gold colored contact all the time~" She giggled.
She eventually calmed down however and looked around the new time period. "Judging by the surrounding area, we haven't gone forward or back too much. The forest hasn't changed, and more importantly the shrine looks the same. I went back 50 years the first time I encountered Hinata, and the shrine was brand new. This one looks relatively the same." Isis surmised. Atona was on the ground, clearly uncomfortable, and Hinata flew over to the Lucario, patting him gently. Isis blinked. "O-oh Atona...." Poor guy, he got seasick easily, Isis knew that, so time travel probably wasn't his forte either. "Want me to return you to your pokeball?" Even though they'd had their spats, Isis still cared very much for the Lucario. Atona shook his head."I-I'll manage, thank you though...."✿ ❀

Huey turned to look at Isis, taking in her words before he broke into an uneasy smile. "I bet people become a lot more famous for time traveling than finding special Slowpoke-- though I still want to try that." he was in the forest, a bit tired, sorta hungry, and stuck in an unknown time. And yet, the young boy managed to find solace in her words. With his nausea dying down, it made room for a more... positive emotion to emerge: curiosity. Gently, he untangled himself from Yuki, taking a few steps to the side to begin inspecting the trees around him. He didn't... feel any different. Was time traveling supposed to have an affect on people? Before he could further his thought process he was distracted by Isis' gasp, the sound instantly gaining his attention. Huey shuffled back towards the other two, his gaze settled on Isis before she drew attention to Leon and he turned to him, eyes instantly zeroing in on the male's... change in hair color.
"You look old." the words left his mouth before his brain had a chance to filter them. "--der. You look older." his eyes widened. "It's not that bad, really! And it's not that noticeable either." ah, he was lying now. And the child was such a bad liar. "Well... no, it is. But that's okay! Just because you have a few gray hairs on you doesn't mean you still can't deliver those cheesy pick-up lines to girls. Because, really, it's not that bad!" before Huey had a chance to dig himself deeper into a hole he physically stopped the movement of his own lips, his front teeth sinking into the skin of his bottom lip. Ignoring the slither of pain the rash action had caused, he directed his head towards the ground, the heat that radiated off his cheeks notifying him of the light blush that had risen. "Maybe you can dye it... like Isis said..."
After that blunder, he was determined to keep quiet and keep to himself. Unfortunately, his mind didn't seem to agree; forcing a question past his lips the moment Isis mentioned traveling back fifty years, "did you go into the town?" Huey asked. "How did it look back then?" absently, the boy rubbed at his lip. Although the brief, albeit painful, contact between teeth and skin hadn't drawn blood, it had hurt. Ow. He'd have to learn how to either find a better way to stop himself from rambling, or just pay more attention to his words before they came out of his mouth.

Nova noticed something different about her trainer, but when she investigated, he smelled just the same. Kai couldn't be bothered to do anything at the moment, laying on his belly and rubbing at his snout. Leon was still panicking a bit, but was brought out of it as Isis spoke to him. "Huh?" he muttered, dropping his hand from his head and looking at the blond questioningly. He didn't know what she was talking about. At least not at first. Then, he caught a climpse of silver before his eyes. "What the- MY HAIR." Leon grimaced, a tug at the silver strands confirming that it was indeed his own hair. The raven haired male shot a brief glare at Huey as the boy said he looked older. He knew the kid didn't mean it offensively, but he certainly didn't want to start being called grandpa. Leon pouted for a bit, kind of upset about the 'mark' time travel had left on him. Sure, he could dye it, but it would likely always be lighter colored than the rest of his hair. "Stupid mark..." he grumbled.
Leon's attitude about his hair slowly dropped as he listened to Isis speak up again. Nova returned to snuffling in his hair affectionately, standing behind her trainer with her face in his hair. "If it was such a small jump, then why did this happen to my hair?" he muttered, then shook his head. Well, at least it wasn't 50 years in the future or past. That would have been too much. "Anyways, are you both alright?" Leon asked, shuddering a bit as Nova's movements in his hair tickled him.

✿ ❀ Isis had to chuckle at Huey's optimism. "They probably would be famous, but you have to try and keep this a secret okay Huey? You saw those guys and how they tried to steal Hinata from me. We don't want too many people knowing about Hinata because of people like that." Isis insisted gently. "But in exchange I'll help you try to find that special Slowpoke okay?" She offered with a smile, glancing over to Leon to try and get him in on this deal and back her up, but then she noticed his hair, and apparently Huey did too. Isis was overcome with a bad case of the giggles as Huey commented that Leon looked old. Or rather, older, as he desperately tried to rephrase and save himself from Leon's wrath. The lifeguard had shot Huey a rather angry look, which of course only made Isis want to laugh harder because Huey kept going, insisting that having a few grey hairs didn't mean he couldn't deliver those cheesy pick up lines anymore.
Poor boy, he eventually just gave up as Isis came closer to inspect. "I don't think Nova minds any." Isis grinned as the Noivern continued to happily snuff Leon's hair from behind. Hinata and Atona conversed in the background for a moment before Atona turned back to translate."You can all relax, Hinata only sent us a few hours into the future."Isis hid her slight disappointment, but Leon didn't seem too happy about the news either, complaining that if had been such a small jump then he wondered why his hair was so greatly effected. Isis grinned and shrugged. "It's time travel. It doesn't always make sense." She wasn't helping the situation. Grinning sheepishly, Isis let go of the silvery hair. "It really doesn't look bad Leon.... I like it, looks pretty cool to me." She offered honestly, giving a soft smile and brushing aside his bangs with a few fingers. He seemed to eventually let it go, asking if they were both alright. "....." Isis frowned somewhat and didn't answer the question. She was fine physically sure, no side effects this time, she was just a little disappointed that they had traveled forwards and not back like she had wanted. "Y-yeah.... I'm... Alright..." That was a lie, she didn't even attempt to make it more convincing. She would never really be alright, her pokemon died, that wasn't something you just got over in a day, but she would manage with the help of her friends. She was sure of it.
She glanced up to Leon and gave a knowing but sad smile, then turned her attention to Huey as he asked if she had seen Azalea 50 Years ago. "Heh, sure did." She had to think a little bit about how it looked though. "Hmm.... It was... New, but old at the same time. Like, everything was freshly built but with older techniques. The only way I can really describe it is... It was like going back in time, hahaha!~" She chuckled. "I even met Kurt when he was young and handsome~ He had a few lines for me too." She grinned, wiggling her fingers teasingly, but she wasn't joking, that was the odd part. Kurt had actually flirted with her, it was really strange to think about now since she had always only known him as an older man. "Unfortunately for him, it wasn't meant to be since we were from two largely different timelines, but now he's happily married and has grandchildren, so he couldn't have been too crushed by my mysterious disappearance. We're great friends now though." She smiled. Funny how these things worked out.
Since they were only a few hours into the future though, Isis was reminded of Marx's text, and she figured she should probably let Zero know she was okay too.
"Hey Marx! Sorry I didn't reply earlier, when I woke up I had a lot going on. I was in Veilstone City, where I was last before being transported by that Gastly, but I'm currently in Azalea Town. Are you doing alright?"
She sent the text, thinking it was better to neglect mentioning Ebony for now. Isis was worried about Marx though, he'd sounded pretty panicked. Then there was Zero... Isis steeled her nerves and texted her friend next.
"Hey Zero, I'm in Azalea with some friends, I'm not going to change anything, sorry for the scare. I hope your match went well, but I might have to take a rain check on that cheesecake. I'll see you when I can."
Sent. She'd struggled a bit more with Zero's text than Marx's, since he knew more. Taking a deep cleansing breath, Isis sighed and looked between Huey and Leon. "So... You guys wanna look for that Slowpoke?" She offered with a shaky smile.✿ ❀

"Mm, mm." Huey nodded his head in understanding, only to grimace at the memory of the goons who'd come after Hinata just a few minutes ago-- er... days? hours? It was hard to tell just when they were, but still... he understood where Isis was coming from. He'd never want a repeat of something like that, ever, to anyone. Her bribe was unneeded, but welcomed all the same. "Alright~ Thank you, Isis!" he still didn't think he'd end up catching a Slowpoke, special or not, but it'd certainly be a great adventure to have.
Amongst Isis' giggles, he could feel the heated glare Leon sent his way; causing him to squirm uncomfortably. "S-sorry.." he forced out an apology, though didn't dare risk raising his eyes to actually look at him. It was only once he was positive that the male had turned away from that subject, did he tilt his chin back up and incline his head towards Atona. 'Oh thank Arceus.' Yuki spoke up quietly, voicing her opinion for both of them. Her darling trainer, he'd been put at risk enough. He didn't need to add to his plate time traveling into the distant past or future. "I'm okay." Huey answered his follow-up question, though not before shooting a concerned glance Isis' way. He didn't blame her. Her pokemon, her partner, had died-- that wasn't just something you could just 'hop back on the Rapidash' for. It'd take time, after all. Time and tons of candy! The young blonde clasped his hands behind his back, pushing up on his heels as a secretive smile lit across his face. Maybe... maybe he'd get her a whole backpack's worth of candy!
Huey hold back on his questions, just for the sake of allowing Isis to finishing retelling her tale of time traveling adventure. "Aah~" he made a sound of complete awe, eyes widening and sparkling. Time traveling, for that sort of purpose, sounded amazing! He'd never once thought about capturing a legendary, but at this point having a Celebi didn't sound too bad! Dialga was an option as well, but... it had a rather intimidating air to it. He didn't know if he could face a pokemon of that caliber. Huey couldn't help but to giggle as the woman admitted to having been hit on by even Kurt himself, back in his prime. "A lot of guys must find you really pretty then, Isis." he commented innocently. His hands fell back to his side, hands moving in front of his body to begin twiddling with his thumbs.
He perked up, his actions coming to a halt, when the conversation came full circle and Slowpoke were brought back up. "Yeah! Let's go!" this would give him the perfect chance to train his other pokemon as well. Yuki and Dianna had gotten awfully strong in the past few weeks, and a huge gap in strength had been unintentionally created.

Leon completely let go of the topic of his hair now, going over and scooping Kai up off of the ground. The Croconaw grunted appreciatively while Nova stumbled after her trainer a bit clumsily. Looking over to Isis, he noticed once more that her eyes were mismatched. However, it seemed to suit her well, even if it was a mark time travel had made on her. He wondered briefly if she had freaked out about it the first time too, but let the thought slip from his mind. The Noivern let loose a trumpeting coo as she was mentioned, stretching her neck over to investigate Isis, but ended up falling to the ground, laying on her belly. "Heh... Well, I think she just really likes my hair still, even though she's evolved. I... don't quite remember how that happened... huh." Leon commented, rubbing the back of his neck with a light chuckle. He wasn't actually sure what happened at the ball after he got Kai back due to him blacking out from blood loss.
The raven haired male blinked as Isis moved close, touching his silvery bangs. A light pink color crept across his face, blue eyes meeting Isis' gaze. "E-eh? You think so?" Leon muttered, a small smile on his lips. She pulled away shortly after, giving him a not so convincing answer to his question. Huey responded, and Leon looked over to him with a smile. "Good, you little punk." he told the boy in a playful manner, then looked to Isis again. "Hm." he said, then reached over, brushing some of her hair from her face as he seemed to inspect her. "Well, at least you seem fine to me. I think the time travel might have made you a bit cuter, though." he smirked, pinching her cheek lightly before pulling his hand away.
Leon listened as Isis shared her story of the last time she time traveled 50 years into the past. It certainly seemed like an interesting experience, but the raven haired male certainly wouldn't have enjoyed it that much. Huh. So, Kurt had hit on Isis too, back then? Kai glanced up at his trainer expectantly, almost as if he knew where Leon's mind was going. "Well... Kurt was in your past, but... I'm in your future, Isis." Leon grinned, wiggling his eyebrows a bit at her. He looked over to Huey at his comment with a grin. "Eh? Don't you think she's pretty, too, Huey?" he questioned in a playful tone. The boy didn't have to actually answer. He was just poking some fun at both the blondes at the moment.
As Isis checked her messages, Leon was reminded that he actually didn't share any contact information with either of them. "Hey, Huey. Let's exchange numbers. If you ever need help or want to train together, you can call me or shoot me a message." Leon said, pulling out his pokegear and giving the boy his contact information. Isis was a bit busy, seeming to be responding to some messages. Once Huey reciprocated with his own information, Leon smiled and ruffled the boy's hair. He hadn't known the boy for long, really, but he already kind of felt like the young blond was like the little brother he never had.
Isis finished with her messages and asked if they should go look for that slowpoke. It had made Leon completely blank on exchanging contact info with the girl for now, remembering that he had been looking for a slowpoke himself before he went to the ball. "Hm. You know what? I actually was planning on catching one for myself. Sure, let's go." Leon commented. Nova finally picked herself up from the ground, shaking as if to dispel dust that may have settled on her. The noivern steadied herself as she stood with her winged arms, growling with satisfaction as she managed to get the hang of standing without wobbling again.

✿ ❀ Isis was honestly happy to go exploring the Slowpoke Well with Huey and Leon if they wanted, just have something to take her mind off of Ebony for a while. Plus it really did sound like fun. The blonde smiled and nodded as Huey thanked her, seeming happy at the prospect as well. That was a good sign at least, but the poor boy just couldn't filter his thoughts which earned him some heat from Leon. Thankfully Isis managed to distract him by pointing out that Nova seemed to still like his hair, giggling as the Noivern flopped to the ground onto her stomach due to craning her neck too far when Isis acknowledged her. Though when Leon seemed to realize he didn't recall when Nova evolved, Isis didn't really blame him. Last she'd seen, Nova had been a Noibat, gallantly fighting the zombie pokemon at the ball.
Isis shook her head, odd, but then again pokemon evolved all the time, it wasn't totally unheard of, so she shrugged it off, focusing on getting Leon to feel better about his hair. She insisted that she kind of liked the new look, which seemed to help Leon's mood at least as he blushed a little and gave a small smile. "Yeah~ Really, it does look good." Isis nodded encouragingly, insisting that she felt fine after Leon asked if they were okay. At first, she didn't know if Leon believed her, which would have been understandable, she hadn't exactly been all that convincing, but instead of calling her out, he inspected her gently, eventually deeming her fine, though he admitted that he was fairly certain time travel had made her cuter. Isis couldn't help but laugh, wrinkling her nose and grinning cheekily with an "I see what you did there you scamp" sort of look as he pinched her.
It wouldn't end there though, not that Isis would have wanted it to, but as she recounted her first time travel experience for Huey, Leon couldn't help but let another pick up line loose, commenting how Kurt might have been in her past, but he was in her future. "In your dreams lover boy~" Isis teased with a grin, nudging Leon playfully. However, as Huey mentioned how a lot of guys found her pretty, Isis couldn't help but blush a bit. "W-well I mean..." Isis' grin turned sheepish. She wasn't intentionally trying to convey that message but she supposed it had come out that way. Leon couldn't resist jumping on the opportunity to poke fun at them both apparently, not so innocently asking if Huey didn't think she was pretty too. "Oh hush you." Isis smacked Leon's good arm gently to aid her scolding.
Before she could reprimand him any further however, she was reminded of her pending texts, and decided to take care of that now while she had it on her mind. In the meantime, Leon and Huey exchanged numbers, though Isis wasn't really paying attention, otherwise she would have thought to get their numbers as well. Instead, when she finished sending out her texts, she offered to go looking for that special Slowpoke now, to which both Huey and Leon seemed to agree with enthusiastically. "Haha alright then~" She grinned, returning Hinata and Atona to their pokeballs and making her way out of the forest with them both. ✿ ❀

His thoughts preoccupied with all things Slowpoke, Huey leaned his head to gaze up at the sky. Honey seemed like his best choice for the pokemon of Azalea Town, she was right around their level and was in need of training anyway. He'd... actually never officially trained her, he realized. Neither her, Cloud, or Rags. The former he'd found at the ball, and the other two he'd received right before his gym battle. Well, he'd fix that! He didn't know what those three opinions were of battling, but he'd find out soon enough. "Honey." he called the Munchlax's name as he released her from her pokeball, receiving a curious "Much?" in response. It'd been some time since she'd been out, and gave both her arms a light stretch. Was it time for dinner? The small pokemon looked around her, unable to help but to frown when she noticed no food in sight. "Sorry, Honey." the boy laughed at her disgruntled look and pet her head, "it's not time to eat yet, we're actually going to look for some pokemon." he informed her, much to her dismay. "Munch-lax..."
With a disappointed Munchlax by his side, Huey rejoined the conversation-- just in time for Leon to ask a peculiar question. "Mm." Isis didn't seem too keen on having that question answered, seeing how she instantly moved to hit Leon. Still, he did manage to give a nod of head. Though he wasn't too sure how much his opinion mattered. Isis was pretty, and Leon thought so too-- or at least cute. Hearing his name, he turned to look back at Leon, half expecting him to ask another question about Isis. "Oh." slightly surprised, he swiveled his upper half to begin digging around his bag. "Yeah, sure." it'd be nice to know that if he ever needed help, the older male was only a phone call away; technology sure was useful. He'd also have to make sure Isis' number, and before it slipped his mind.
Grinning as his hair was ruffled, Huey peered through his disheveled bangs to watch Isis head back for civilization. "C'mon Yuki, Honey." he ushered for the two to come along, the former instantly appearing by his side. It took Honey a bit longer to tear herself away from the start of an interesting scent but eventually waddled along.

Leon was slightly relieved to hear that Isis thought his hair looked good. At least that was one cute girl that thought so. He wondered if any other girls would think the same. He just hoped they wouldn't call him gramps or something of the like. "Wait... you don't really mean that, do you?" Leon pouted a bit when Isis teased him. His expression was quite convincing for the moment. He almost looked truly hurt by the 'in your dreams' comment. Until a moment later when Isis slapped his left arm in a scolding manner. "Ow, haha. Worth it." Leon chuckled, though it didn't actually hurt. After getting and making sure he had Huey in his contacts, and when the other two were ready to go, Leon made his way out of the forest once more, returning Nova to her ball on the way back to Azalea. She... wasn't that graceful in her new form yet, so he wanted to save her the trouble and embarrassment. Kai hopped out of his trainer's arms to hobble along beside him.

There was an odd sense of de ja vu in running back into the forest, charging past those first line of trees and ducking beneath any low-hanging branches to avoid being slowed down and/or receiving a nasty cut across the forehead. Only this time the boy didn't even think of slowing down once he got to the shrine and instead ran past it, labored breathing ringing in his ears and only the gently swish swish of Yuki to reassure him that he wasn't truly only. "H-Hah-Honey!" he gasped out her name, breathy voice rasping out in a vain attempt to get his speeding pokemon to stop. He had lost sight of her minutes before, but he was almost confident that he could still catch up to, and upon rounding the corner he found his assumption to be true.
Honey had managed to corner the poor Swirlix, who shook and trembled at the realization that it might be eaten. "H-Honey, do not eat that p-po-pokemon!" the boy managed wheezed before he bent over and clasped at his knees, Yuki settling a reassuring hand on his back as he tried to catch his breath. "But... but if you battle it, I'll give you some candy." why was her trainer so adamant about her not eating this scrumptious little morsel? It smelled so sweet, and the way a few leaves clung to its body made her think that it was sticky too. Yum! But... if he really didn't want her to... and he was willing to give her a few pieces of candy... "Munch." her, reluctant, agreement was all he needed and the young boy peered up from stooped position to beam up at her. "M-Metronome."
It took a single waggle of the finger, just one, and Honey was on the move with a leg struck out to deliver a finishing blow to the Swirlix's body that ensured an instant K.O. The pokemon fell with a single squeak, a random item dropping with it in its descent. The Munchlax fell back to the ground, patting and brushing at her body once before the fallen item caught her eye and she scuttled towards it, giving a happy cry when she realized it was food. She didn't give Huey the chance to object before she'd unwrapped the Rare Candy and popped it into her mouth, chewing and humming happily as the taste burst onto her tongue.
