He could feel her finger against his back, but he didn't turn around to look at her, Chance drawing one knee up to rest his arm on, his own fingers pressing against his temples, sliding partly into his hair. There was a certain amount of frustration in his head; part of it stemmed from the annoyance that Claude seemed to be taking this more seriously than it was meant to be, and part of it stemmed from his already well-known lack of emotions that he simply wasn't capable of experiencing.
A snort escaped him, ungraceful and a little amused. Chance's eyes slid sideways, though from this angle he couldn't quite see Claude.
"No," he said. "I didn't want there to be anything, but I was wondering if there would be. And there wasn't. This was just a good time, and if that's what you take it to be - helping out a friend - then, okay, that's what it was."

Claude just gave an amused snort, and now that he had clarified, the curiosity ebbed away. Well, for the most part. The question of 'why would you wonder if there would be anything if you knew this was going to be casual in the first place' wanted to be asked, but on that note, Claude refrained. It was enough questioning for one day, and she once again found herself asking, like with Ever, why she was getting more curious about others anyways. Things that made them tick. That was something to ponder. On her own. She stopped tracing the constellation to instead just pat his back lightly. "Yeah." She agreed. "It was." Her hand fell away to pull up the sheet and flip it back. She swung her legs over the side of the bed and stood, reaching up towards the ceiling in a stretch. She then looked around for her underwear, and once she found it pulled it on, and followed suit for the rest of her clothing.

She stopped questioning him, which was a relief. He felt the bed shifting as she moved, and Chance let her, still staring absently out of the window. The distant sounds of Claude dressing could be heard, and after a moment, he turned his head to watch her. He slid to the edge of the bed and pushed himself to his feet, and his arms slid around Claude's waist from behind as he pressed a kiss to the back of her neck.
"We still good?" he asked lightly.

She just finished pulling her tunic top back on when she felt his arms wrap around her waist, and she paused. She blinked once more at his question, maybe a bit surprised he had to ask. "Of course." She replied back, and meant it, turning her head to look at him as best as she could behind her. "You're my friend. You seemed troubled and..." She trailed off for a moment. "I just wanted to help." She looked thoughtful at that, but it sat right with her, and she gave a small nod. "That's all."

He was relieved, and it showed on his face as Chance shifted around to stand in front of her.
"Good," he said, and smiled, ducking his head the few inches to press a lingering kiss to her lips, pulling her briefly against him. "And hopefully I helped you as well. You know, dry spell and all," he added, as he finally let go of her, a little smirk on his face.

She was not complaining about another kiss, and her hands came up to loosely link together behind his neck as she leaned into him. When he let go of her, she kept her hands there, and gave a nod and a small smirk of her own. "You did..." Her eyes trailed down his front thoughtfully before she looked back up at him. "Hey...if I want to be dazzled again in the future...?" It couldn't hurt to ask. Hopefully.

Chance quirked a brow.
"My door's always open," he said lightly, and then patted her backside with the same sort of teasing affection that Cameron had done before. "I tend to think it helps me sleep better."

She gave an amused snort at the bottom pat. Claude leaned to plant a kiss to his chin, and then unwound her arms from around his neck, letting them fall to her sides. "Mutual benefits all around." She murmured, and then gave the trainee a two finger salute. "Good night, Chance." She then made her way to the door, letting herself out much like she had let herself in.
