Thomas had not been on the island long, so perhaps that is why Chance's words took him by surprise. The mist trainees tendency to flirt was deeply ingrained, more from the persona he had used during performing than anything. It had become habit, and it had never gotten him into any serious trouble or stuck in any predicament he did not want to be in, or one that made him uncomfortable in anyway.

Though even now, as his heart rate increased slightly, he gave Chance his usual easy going grin, hiding away his own temporary panic. But how to answer? To say he wasn't intrigued, or even attracted to the other man, would be a lie. But he was also not the type to throw himself at anybody, nor did he intend to change that aspect of himself anytime soon.

So instead he simply laughed, as he continued to give the offer some serious thought, up until the moment he shot Chance that final time, sending him to the ground, where Tommy still sat slightly sprawled out himself.

He laughed again, this time flopping onto his back and staring up at the sky, hands going behind his head. "That was quite fun I will admit. Thank you for the spar." He went quiet for a moment then, pondering to himself.

"I am not looking to expand my experience, by the way, but...if you want to hang out sometime, I would like that. Maybe you could even make me change my mind." He sat up abruptly, and gave the other man a smile.

Tommy was rather exhausted himself, and so Jaida was desummoned as well, her totem form returning as thick metallic bracelets that adorned each of his wrists. He had felt like he'd had a rather productive afternoon, and felt much more confident with his weapon then he had before, and so, he pushed himself nimbly back to his feet, and strode over to where Chance was sitting, holding a hand down towards him to help him back to his feet as well, should he accept it.

The smile Chance gave him was eyed with faint amusement, though what he said in reply was certainly given more thought.

"If it is possible will be entirely down to you, I think." There was something about him that intrigued Tommy, his look, his mild personality, his sense of humor. "As beautiful as you are, you may find that I am quite picky." He grinned, and winked.

"Are you needing any help to get anywhere?" He asked, mildly concerned now that he saw how unsteady the other man was on his feet.
