I believe this sums up the appeal of playing out alternate dimensions.
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim Because it was grassy and wanted wear, Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.

What? lol I was just thinking it would be handy to navigate and it would be a good place to have the convergence points up. But why not spruce it up too? C:

Really? I'll do it. C: All I need to do is hunt down the posts of each character playing in that particular dimension that has the decision and boom! Convergence point. Put all of them together, and I'm pretty sure it'll give us an exact map of how that universe came to be.
Then we can index the events within that universe to be transposed later onto subsequent dimensions.
...Right?

try to put it on simplier words and we'll talk about it later. Honestly my brain is dead right now -. - can't even post =. =

This was a PM for corvo but I would like all of you guys to fill these questions here so we can get a better idea of how your character would fit in the rp :3
See, after we get done with her introduction. We would be jumping onto your characters introduction.
Like, where does he live (either Netherworld or Human world)
How did he end up in hell scream?
And what is his overall purpose? And By purpose I mean what is his fighting style. Is he 100% commited to mage? is he hybrid? No more than 2 classes tho please.
Since the first 4 (the main characters each one of us is playing) as I call them XD will be the example for the newer people who wishes to join. If that happens to be the case.
It also helps me keep them in mind and help develop the story around them so that they get exploited for what they really are.
I mean I don't want end up treating your character (forgot its name) like I would treat Illo or Paradox.
No, he has to have his own place. Especially if I'm going to expect a descent arc from him.
So first act is most likely introducing the characters.
Then we'll go with Fiore's Character Arc. Then we'll go with Corvo's And then Yokai's
But first I want to have as much meta knowledge (for OOC purposes) So that we may give these characters the love and attention they deserve XD

Hello everyone. yum_puddi
Just letting you know who and what my character is. Katsuro Hideaki is a mage who is fascinated by demons and supernatural phenomena. He wishes above all to codify all things otherworldly; which of course this quest is aided greatly by his Grimoire the Necronomicon. He is athletic but not a fighter, smart without wisdom. His saving grace is his eagerness to learn his enemy and in so doing obtain its weakness. He was an ace supernaturalist at DMA and was frequently called in to deal with cases thought to be reserved for more experienced students; though it was that Hideaki mostly accepted these challenges because they almost invariably promised an interesting encounter which he could write about and stick together in his little web of understanding, the location of which lying outside the ironically pristine pages of the Necronomicon.
It was sometime during his second year he stumble upon the true function, machine, of the Grimoire. Late one night while reviewing his notes...
A voice spoke to him. It took him a while to figure out where it was coming from, but eventually he found its source on the roof of his apartment. This demon was unlike the others in that it was infinitely more fascinating to Hideaki. His heart was racing, but his speech was measured, somehow, as he talked to the creature. Eventually a revelation, of sorts, was given to the prodigy, and a strange tablet was given him to decode as he wished. And he wished. Day and night, week and month, the boy clasped his mind firmly around the idea that a whole new world of discover lay on the shores of his intuition, and that this little piece of slate was his ragged vessel by which a thousand splendiferous sunrises would be tasted by his hungry eyes. ... But what happens when the reality of a dream is coated in the mind's desire?
Okay, let me get this one first before I miss any other chance to post.
My character Lisa Zhenshchina is a native kitsune from Hellscream formerly a tree inhabitant before their exile to Hellscream. She's a Mage Fighter, or more likely, a fighter which uses magic to compensate her lack of physical strength. She has the knowledge and the swiftness but her strength is that of an average werewolf. While that means she's stronger than a human, she can't really compete with other werewolves or outwit kitsune fighters which have the swiftness and strength to back up for their moves. She's quite heavier compared to a kitsune. So her moves are naturally slower, putting her on a disadvantage against both races if she was to fight by her own traits. As such she had been studying the arts of the ninko clan which were inherited to her by her parents in the tome she's studying, but so far the art of Wind bending had been the only one she had mastered along with the lost art possession. With this magical aid she's able to be as swift as a kitsune even faster at short bursts. Her OKHO technique would be the Ninko possession. Which is considered an auto hit that never misses. But would only be able to be used for execution of the possessed X amount of times.
Her main purpose is to return to the tree of kitsunes and bestow judgment against the Elder of the Tree Kimberly Dreath who exiled them to this hell hole.

Suppose I should go next. My character is Hakudoshi Gitsune, a soul fragment of a powerful Kitsune named Rengyoku Shironami Gitsune. Although he has frequently been to the Tree of Kitsune,he primarily spends all his time in his own Realm. The Gitsune family, while well known, does not seem to have much interaction with its own kind.
A remnant of a Ren Gitsune's soul Haku is quite powerful, and his intensive training with Ren has only bolstered his skills. Hakudoshi is usually one to analyze and dissect an opponents style to combat it effectively. He prefers to neutralize his opponent by targeting pressure points;using his strikes like acupuncture needles. Hakudoshi's natural skills mainly have to do with his races animalistic attributes. These included instinct, intimidation, agility, and speed. His evolved instinct was is born from vast amounts of experience in combat. It can help the Haku avoid attacks unseen to the naked eye or attack the vitals of an enemy that has never been faced before. Haku's instinct can also pick up on things invisible to the naked eye, like pheromones almost like a sixth sense.
His Intimidation is often used as a means to try to scare the opponent, which can cause them to run away or literally get frozen in place by fear. In this way, intimidation can be used to end a confrontation or situation non-violently. Using intimidation to scare an opponent will only work if the opponent is significantly weaker than Haku but it can also be used to startle many powerful fighters. However, Intimidation is less effective on those who have the "resolve" to put their lives on the line. At a certain point, this intimidation can be projected in the form as separate sentient entities within their Haku and even outside of him for a certain amount of time. Under certain circumstances it can actually make its projected form materialize to a point where it can physically harm an opponent as though its body were solid rather than simply intimidating them. When physically manifested, it can stretch out its projected limbs to strike from a distance, suggesting that it can manipulate its projected form to suit its needs.
Hakudoshi remains cool and composed no matter the situation and is not one to panic. He is very intellectual, but lacks knowledge of social interactions. Hakudoshi is obsessively proud of his Kitsune Family, and hopes to live up to thier legacy. Despite the previous two abilities and lightning manipulation Haku's main strength his immense understanding and control over both his physical and spiritual abilities. By entering Hellscream he hopes to push his mind, body, and soul to there limits.
His OHKO move would be Chaos Break; The Chaos is the special elemental power granted to the Gitsune by there ancestors. Chaos energy warps/distorts space and time. When concentrated, the chaos literally forms cracks the air with and sends devastating shock waves or vibrations in the direction it is facing. These waves are able to pass through and damage almost any substance, and can even brake a resonance causing severe damage to ones soul as well as the body. Hakudoshi focuses this great power to a single point, otherwise known as a hypocenter (given the appearance of a bubble of sorts), to make a concentrated, explosion-like attack. So far, he has been shown capable of using this attack through both his limbs and the blade of his sword. This attack is major hazard to both friend and foe alike. This is largely because, although the Haku seems to be able to control both the magnitude of the shock wave and its point of impact, the quakes produced by said shock waves are indiscriminate in their effects. Because of this, allies of the user must be prepared for the impacts unless they want to become unintended victims of them.
Thomas Lived on the human world before he was taken into Hellscream by an unknown force. Once there he barely survived a werewolf attack but resulted on him becoming a Werewolf as well.
He's a Fighter, a Beefy fighter when in werewolf form and a swift fighter when in human form.
Unlike Hakudoshi, Thomas's fighting style is most likely barbaric as he grew up on his werewolf form in Hellscream for quite a while before he was able to regain consciousness of it's own once more and revert back onto human form. As a human however, he has a basic knowledge of martial arts. Karate, that's pretty much about it. He's only a consistent fighter because of his ability to switch forms and the boost he got from the werewolf traits such as increased resistance and strength.
While on human form he's a little more accessible than on his werewolf form since he's most likely a brute most of the time. Take Dr. Banner / Hulk for a brief example of the different mindsets.
Thomas's OHKO move is only available on Werewolf form and it's his Iron Jaw technique which makes an empowered bite capable to chew through anything.
