Horace smiled faintly. Al was definitely all business, no fun flirting, but he decided he didn't really care. If he thought the other hunter was grumpily cute (if a bit too grumpy), well, he wasn't going to tell him and risk getting stabbed by another prickle. The very fact that Horace had succeeded, more or less, made his abused pride perk up a bit. Later, he'd think about it a little more - about why exactly he went to go flirt with a stranger rather than visit Jan - but not now. He just hoped it wasn't Rep relieving Al, although he doubted he could sink lower in the a*****e's favor.
"Alright. You're in charge, Al." He shrugged; they could ******** in the hallway for all he cared. Horace lapsed back into idle chatter as they waited, trying to flirt here and there, just a bit. If he was too quiet, he thought too much, and that was just annoying. And if Al didn't want him to talk then, well, Al should've just gone out and bought sex instead.
