January 20th, 2016: Narumi Misuhara Zancuno FeaturesI know that one reason for constant Gcash use is the drop of members and the need for income for those at Gaia Online. So since we have lost so many members, what about an event in which the staff encourages us members to invite people onto Gaia. Maybe make a contest or something for it, you know give us an incentive. Maybe a prize or something along those lines for the amount of people invited (lets just hope people don't make mules for this). (sorry the site has hit low and I've been thinking of ways to get it back to the way it used to be) We would hope everyone liked the site enough that an incentive wouldn't be needed. crying The closest we have at the moment is Find Friends, but we could potentially look at other options. Zero Omega SPOOKY MANNER ReminderCan Gaia warn the whole community about the ***** that lurk on this site? Please. We obviously do not tolerate people who joke about this or engage in this behavior, we can definitely do more reminders about how to keep safe on Gaia and how to report users who are acting in a manner that poses a risk to other Gaians. That being said, if you do see anyone behaving like this, please report them so that our team can resolve it. Anyone who behaves like this, or even jokes about it, will be permanently banned.

I guess this would go in features? Was wondering when you guys were getting set to hire some more moderators. I had sent in one of those forms like back in October. I would really like to help the site and help beta test for Lake Kindred. .-. Mine was rather silly though. We do plan to bring some more moderators on board this year!

March 15th, 2016: Zero Omega Zanethemayor Misc.Hello again Gaia staff! If you remember, back on Twitter I mentioned that I was going to make a Gaia themed Little Big Planet Level. Fortunately I just got done with my latest level and I'm now free to work on it. Now, I have a few ideas on what to do with it but, I like to hear what you guys think about it. Here's my two main ideas. 1. I can create a level where you go through the town of Barton. It will be a lot like a hangout space and will include many of the NPCs found on Gaia. (Rina, Leon, Louie, Ian, Rufus, Old Man Logan ect.) You can find many of the main buildings there and you can freely explore the area. Along with this, I may also have a few users guest star in the level and I may even throw in a few mini-games and Easter Eggs. Bunny Rangers2. I can create an entire level based on last year's Easter Event of the Bunny Ranger invasion. The level will start with you getting trapped on-board of the Bunny Ranger's ship. Rhe level will have low gravity sections, platforming challenges and puzzles. I may also add a part where you can rescue other people to gain more points and an Easter Egg where you can listen in to a conversation with the Bunny Rangers. So, if you like one of those ideas, I will be more than happy to make the level. Personally, even though I love the Bunny Rangers, I'm actually leaning towards the first idea. But, if you even have your own idea, I would love to make it into a level! biggrin We've spent many hour deliberating about this, have spent days fighting over it, have held many civil wars about this. We've lost many people due to it to come to this conclusion: We actually really like both ideas and can't pick one over the other, we'd love to see either one! April 19th, 2016: Zero Omega XonyMudd MiscWho intends to apologize to members of D-Party and other fans/admirers of Diedrich for hate being tossed their way as a result of both the (weaksauce) April Fool's Day prank and the (lamesauce) Geemoji mini-event/reveal? They had nothing to do with either of these, but because of what the Gaian Powers That Be have done, they are being scapegoated for it along with the character of Diedrich. If fans of Diedrich are being abused or harassed by other users of Gaia for their love of Diedrich in relation to Geemoji or the April Fool's Day event, then they should be reporting this abuse through the appropriate channels.

I joined about 32 days ago and the amount of gold she grants is not even relevant to what items cost. Also she mentions things like go Fishing, go play zOMG, both of which are gone. Hey there! We are currently trying to update welcoming fairy but there's a weird bug with her that we're trying to solve for. We have new messages and updated gold payouts, it's just getting her to behave. Rance Clear minghii Itemsi skimmed through the thread and i don't believe this question was asked. if it was already answered elsewhere, i apologize. so, the AEI didn't update last week and we didn't get any alerts or response as to why it didn't update. could we please get an explanation for it now? this was an anticipated update since we only see an evolution every two weeks, and the expectation of seeing new stuff was obviously let down. if there's anything that happened, i think people who've been waiting for it would like to know the answer! The AEI update was delayed due to some technical trouble on our end. Look forward to the next installment this Friday! May 3rd, 2016: Zero Omega xx I met my fate xx MISCHey Staff! Have you heard of The Gaian Sponsored Nudity Event? It's been going on since..well forever! 2004 to be exact! This year is the 14th version of the event and it would be amazing if you'd bring attention to it somehow. Here's some info: The Gaian sponsored nudity event is an annual charity event. For the event users will go "nude" stripping down to the very basic underwear Gaia provides or cheap gold shop undies. The goal is to be as financially bare as possible for two whole weeks! During that time users gather sponsors who offer gold or items for completion of the event. At the end of the event all of the gold and items raised by the nudists is given to charities and quest threads here on Gaia! It's an awesome event with a great community and generous spirit! You guys should totally check it out and maybe even feature it somewhere as you have with other user-run events in the past. I'll get in contact with you! June 14th, 2016: pyawakit dissonances Misc./Items(?)With the recent horrific and tragic incident in Orlando at the Pulse nightclub, has there been any thought given to a tribute to those lives lost? I know in the past that for such tragedies (Paris and so forth, given, different kinds of tragedy), there's been something created in support. If something like this has already been done, it's likely I've missed it. If not, is it something you would consider? Love and Togetherness are so important in the wake of things like this. -- I'm having a hard time putting the words together for this. So if anyone else wants to take a shot, please, feel free. I also don't mean to upset or offend anyone, so please don't hate me for this. We're going to be releasing something very soon! Our love is with Orlando. heart

You know, I was gonna say "no," but then I thought, "There's something we could probably show as a, 'Hey, this is cool!' Kind of like when we showed a picture of our servers years ago." Do you guys have any intentions of bringing on new moderators any time soon? There has been a TON of spam and off site advertising that has been reported and sits there day after day. ( Art Discussion for example.) I feel that it might be necessary to bring on new moderators if there is such a backlog of reports. And while I get that training takes up resources it may be worth bringing on just a few more as it could make a world of difference. Perhaps not even new moderators, just some forum assistants. That may take up less resources as I feel like their training would be pretty cut and dry. We definitely do have plans to bring some more mods onto the team, so if you haven't applied, we definitely encourage you to do so! Hey Zero, thanks for getting back to me! Do you guys have any idea when the next time you'll be reviewing applications is? No ETA at the moment, but it's definitely something we want to get done.

Like from date of thought to planning to drawing to finish to release to the public. Are they usually done quite a while in advance? Or does it just depend on the artist? It really varies in time from artist to artist! Our production process is really interesting, and pretty involved, so they usually take quite a while to do. c: Zero Omega 2sammygate misccause that "admin view" thing zero posted last week, are mods allowed to talk about the things that weren't whited out, without violating their non-disclosure agreement? Not without prior authorization.
