The girl looked at the weary surviviors. None of which would look at her. "I'm Amanda,." she declared, and looked around..

She was wrong...
Kei looked at the others once again then suddenly broke down. She fell to the sandy ground, on her hands and knees as tears started to drip from her eyes.
"I'm going to die! I don't want to die here! Not here!" She shrieked. She never thought she would break down like this. She was so sure she would stay strong. Apparently, she was mistaken.
The ruffles no the bottom of her dress were slightly torn, and her stockings had a run of two up the sides, and her shoes were scuffed beyond repair. And the worst part of all... She was crying in front of these total strangers. She had promised herself she wasn't going to do this... she broke it.
Tears continued to run down her face, puddling in the sand as it absorbed them. She was so frightened, so worried... so scared for her life it wasn't funny. She was still young. Fourteen years of age to be exact. She couldn't die now! Not in this dreary place! And she certainly didn't want to be eaten alive. Her heart began to hurt as she realized there was a good chance she was never going to leave this island. There was a good chance she was never going to see any of her family ever again... or him...

Amanda looks at the weeping girl on the sand. "Don't cry. I'm sure they'll send out a rescue team soon. We'll be found by tomorrow afternoon!" She lays a hand on her shoulder.

Kei stopped suddenly, holding her breath as she felt a hand on her shoulder. She gives another soft sob then screams.
"No! Don't touch me!" She slid quickly away from the girl, total fear in her eyes. But they, her eyes, seemed... empty.. lifeless. She closed them tightly then stood and took off down the sandy beach, trying to avoid tripping.
She didn't trust anyone here... any one of those people could be the cannibal. And she especially didn't trust anyone wearing red clothes. They may have not been red in the beginning.
She continues until she finally stops, panting. She leans her whole self on a tree, wrapping her arms around it to keep herself steady. She wasn't safe... she wasn't happy, or proud, or even thankful that she was alive. She would have rather died in the crash then be here.. to be eaten alive by some maniac!

Amanda startled begins to sob herself. What's going on? She was missing something, that much she was sure about. What had the girl seen when they crashed? that caused her eyes to look so haunted. Head down she begins the journey back to the coastline.

She picked up sticks and branches on her way to the coastline. A fire, yes that's what she needed. A fire.

((Sorry about the inactiveness, I had to eat dinner!))
Meiloyn follwed the caped survivor and aimed her crystal watch. Light bent through the crystal and lit a fire out of the dry sticks and leaves. A small fire blazed, hungry for more wood. Meiloyn fed it more sticks to keep it going.

Amanda begins stacking the sticks in a pile. She reaches in her pocket and pulls out a waterlogged pack of cigarettes she had been hiding from her mom. She flipped open the lid and pulls out an equally waterlogged lighter. She smiles, and offers one to the fire starter.

"Thanks," Mei said to the other girl. "I'll use this once it dries." She put it into her pocket, realized it was filled with water, and put it into her handbag. That was soaked with water, too! She finally gave up and put it in a spot near the fire.
