Bronze Kelilayth | Time Dragon | modifier = -1 @9 →16
Kelilayth was at a loss for what to do. Vesin had never been completely for Nersha and Sereth and had been a matter of debate for her. This was a foolish move for the time gold and Keli didn't support her at all. As the dragons of this time didn't give them any orders, morally Keli wanted to keep Sereth from Evmeth but how? Should he be part of he second line of defense? Would they think if he didn't help now that it was Sereth's move to try and ensure that a time dragon won the flight? He really couldn't say. <Tiaeth. They didn't say they require us in the first line. We should stay back but keep an eye on both Evmeth and Sereth.> It was the best plan Vesin could come up with on such a quick notice. To Morth who seemed to be giving out orders, he sent <If there is anything you require of me, I am at your disposal. I will continue to fly and help with the second line unless you require otherwise.> He had probably just made up Vesin's mind for her as to who they should give their loyalties to, but he did not support Sereth in this grab at all.

Banneth rumbled concern as Evmeth dropped and after giving Sereth a cool, displeased glare, ignored the smaller queen. Banneth tipped his wings and winged after Evmeth. He questioned, voice calm and firmly focused.
‘Ban…’ Ra’fe huffed, gnawing on his lip. Leaving wasn’t truly an option, by the time he reached Nersha everything would be over. ‘Call the others.’
Banneth replied smoothly and reached out to all the TimeRiders, He sent, sounding a bit tired of all this drama.
Ban's total : 14 + 8-1= 21
Hazmath cooed back, chesting heaving slightly from the exertion of his aerobatic. He was a little infatuated with Evmeth. He gleefully winged after her. He called, voice bubbling like a river breaking it banks in surprise.
Haz's total: 19 + 9 – 2 + 3 = 29

Zaqueth's keen of distress was carried away by the wind of his speed as he raced to get in between the two golds. he exclaimed to Sereth with a bugle and a flash of orange in his eyes; she might not be in flight lust too so the danger was not as bad as it might be but it was quite clear that she still posed a threat and he did not mean to let her get within ten lengths of Evmeth.
"Woah, woah, woah!" S'ol managed to catch Shylla as she fell against him despite the shock of her sudden appearance, Sereth's assault, and most of all the state of his clutchmate. "What happened to you Shylla? What's wrong?... And I'm not giving you my knife! It's going to be fine, okay? Evmeth will be fine, Zaqueth has gone to stop Sereth and... yes it looks like others are too."
Shards he needed a healer, this was not right. With sick panic beginning to claw at his gut S'ol wondered if it would all be alright; something had been done to Shylla just as Evmeth was rising to ascend to the position of Weyrmistress. Had one of the time riders poisoned her? He hated to think it but he had to face the possibility that somebody was trying to do away with her. shards what was the green's name? <-Berath! Tell her that something's wrong with Shylla, she may have been poisoned!>

[Calanoth (Brown -1) 20] [Sanuyeth (Green -3) 10]
Calanoth didn't need to be told twice as Morth direction a small fraction of their wing off to intercept the intruder. His eyes overcome with purple again as he surged towards Evmeth. My rider is a better man than I could ever ask for. It is you though who deserves praise for your patience and gracious acceptance of... this unexpected guest. As you will, I will follow. He didn't need to say that his orders were from his Wingleader and not the gold. He just needed to keep her happy, to sway her attentions towards him and to encourage her to make a decision sooner rather than later in this flight.
~...~
Sanuyeth heard her Wingleader and gave a surly assent. With the orders from on high and her rider worse than a buzzing insect in her mind Sanuyeth was beset on all sides. She continued on her current path, though her claws were retracted. Other dragons were reaching the gold before she was but soon enough, Sanuyeth's bulk would be added to the aerial barricade.
Ja'line rushed down the narrow corridor that connected her weyr to the rest of the lower caverns. It was small and not the most convenient, but she was eternally grateful her recruitment had given her the opportunity to claim it for her own. With Sanuyeth not exactly calm, but apparently obedient in her mind she was able to focus on her descent. Toast had not returned or contacted her and for the time being, in the dimly glowlit tunnels of the weyr, Ja'line was alone, confused, and frankly pretty damn ticked off.
((I realized I rolled the wrong dice for sanu to do a sabotage. Just gonna have to leave it because my computer crashed four times tonight))

< My queen, I am with you!> Letting out a brassy bugle Regulith launched himself from the ground and powered up after Sereth, his eyes swirling a mixture of blue, orange and white. the weyrling asked as he strove to catch up; he was not yet fully grown but he was far from a hatchling and grew stronger every day. He wasn't entirely sure what was going on but Sereth was his queen and as such she had his support.
When Banneth's words reached him he cried a reproach at the elder dragon. Queen! How dare you look at her like that? You should stand with her, have you no faith? No loyalty?> That was not right, not at all!

Banneth replied, tiredly. Ultimately his loyalty was to his rider not to Sereth and he needed to keep a level head.

Though set on her course Sereth wasn't deaf. Of course she still heard what was said to her, even if for the most part she didn't care. Banneth was almost deliberately ignored, the idea of a dismissive snort sent his way. He could be frosty all he liked, the bronze had proved where his loyalties lay with this little betrayal. Nersha would have to think again if she thought Sereth was going to allow him to lounge with her anymore.
The gold's course wavered slightly and she slowed for just a moment as Pellinorth blocked her path. Sereth looked for a long moment at the young bronze, the whirling of her eyes slowed and she felt Nersha's presence again, trying to call her back. Perhaps she had acted too hastily...
A roar brought her slamming back and Sereth turned her head with a hiss at the sound. Only to see a green. A strange sight to be sure, but not what she was after. This large green could be angry all she wanted, but Sereth had no interest in her or anyone else in the sky. Reason once again shoved aside the dragon twisted and did her best to move around Pellinorth, no threatening gestures for him though.
The twin bronzes from her time spoke up, first one then the other. They were a unit those two, that much was clear. However it was the use of 'us' and 'we' to include her that had Sereth throwing a glance their way as she flew. You are not of my home. You have shown me no loyalty in this time. Your problems are not mine. The two bronzes weren't of her lot. From Nersha she knew they had been born there, but some other Weyr had been their home. The two had made no effort to ally themselves with her. Why should she care how her actions reflected on them?
Dismissing the two Sereth set her sights entirely on Evmeth. Her teeth were not bared, not her claws unsheathed. Yet it was clear she was headed straight for the much larger gold despite that. The soft croon again saw Sereth falter, although less so than before. She kept her climb going, but again the swirling in her eyes slowed as Evmeth spoke to her. What was this strange future dragon's game? Was it some tricky ploy to strike her out of the sky? And now she was defending her from the others? This was confusing. Why wasn't she responding to her challenge. Sereth had been clear that it was a challenge.
Then she was falling and Sereth stopped dead. What? What was wrong with her. Sereth had not touched her. Evmeth had not even appeared frightened by her. Was there something wrong with the other dragon that she didn't know about...? Oh, what did it matter?! Sereth gave herself a sharp mental shake. If something was wrong with her than even more reason for Evmeth to step down and let a healthy gold take her place! The other dragons were ignored as Sereth sought to follow the other gold. She didn't want to kill Evmeth, nor really do her harm. After all she was a gold and, like it or not, she needed to rise and bear clutches. They wouldn't be as good as Sereth's, but they were needed none the less. No, all Evmeth had to do was accept Sereth as her Senior and this would all be over. Simple.
Then there was a blue in front of her. Honestly, the constant blocking bothered her more than Evmeth was managing to. She had a thing to do and they were ruining it. If they just got out of her way! Sereth let out a short snarl and turned to try and get around the blue. Going through anyone was stupid. Nobody had to get hurt in this. They would if they didn't give her what she came for and stay out of her way. But they didn't have to.
((I'll edit in a response to Sanuyeth after she's up. Bear in mind it's before Regulith posting order wise so anything after this point may be subject to change.))
Sereth gave pause yet again at the sound of a bugle and a call to her. The gold twisted to face the newcomer. Oh, her sweet, young, Regulith. You cannot help me, sweet, I'm afraid. This is something for golds, but you are a champion for offering alone. The gold near enough purred at the weyrling, instantly affectionate towards the youngster. Evmeth wasn't going anywhere fast, so could take the time to let Regulith know how valuable he was.
Despite Sereth's apparent calm moment, Nersha was far from calm. Skirts caught up the woman was speeding through the halls as fast as her legs could carry her. Plain clothes, unkempt hair, this was a very Un-Nersha looking Nersha. It didn't matter though. She had to find a dragon, any dragon that wasn't already up there. Sereth wasn't listening and if it took Nersha flying up there on someone else's dragon and jumping on her to get her to pay attention than by between she was gonna. This was out of line even for Sereth. The dragon was clearly within her own mind, being able to shut Nersha out while she threw a hissyfit. There was no blaming this on flightlust, this was her being a big baby.

As Berath touched his mind Bereck said several very rude words in the privacy of his own head and clapped the young journeyman beside him on the shoulder. "You can handle this one; it doesn't seem to be anything serious, just a sedative like the others. Keep her calm and comfortable and she'll be fine." Theoretically. Turning away from the young man and the confused child the healer strode with a hitching gait to the infirmary's exit, his cane tapping out a swift but measured beat on the stone of the floor with every other step.
His hope was that Shylla had ingested the same substance as the line of woozy people wobbling around the infirmary, and indeed heading past him and into it. "Busy, don't ask me, ask them in there," he said shortly as a young rider who was supporting his friend opened his mouth to speak.
Who had done this? That was the question buzzing around his head as Vena buzzed in to land on his shoulders. Was this about the flight? Probably, and Shards he could do without the flight plucking at his attention. He could have stayed in his quarters with his wife, not had to deal with any of this damn silliness and been a lot happier for it!
On the other hand however this could be something more sinister and with a senior flight, a new one at that and with two previous favorites off the field, things might get violent in the corridors too regardless of what was or was not going on with this spate of druggings and Shylla.
Still, he could have stayed home.
He sighed.
__ EDIT __
He then almost walked into a disheveled woman. "Would you watch where you're going?" he snapped as he half stumbled to a halt, absolutely not in the mood for bullshit or indeed excrement of any other variety. A moment later he recognised her as the new gold rider but his expression of Disapproval didn't alter. "What the shells is your dragon playing at up there?" he demanded. "Berath says she's chasing Evmeth; I hope this is just an ill informed attempt to create some kind of super clutch!"

Caldweth did not fly, not for golds, not for greens, not even for browns or blues or other bronzes. The whole affair was a messy, tactless thing, and there was no honor among those seeking relations with the gilded hide that floated above. That being said, Evmeth was the queen of High Reaches, and he was equally as honor-bound to protect her as he was to lack any interest in pursuing her. The moment Absoth put out the call, he was in the air, climbing slowly but steadily towards the ruckus. By the time he arrived, the commotion seemed to have been largely abated, but nevertheless he circled around the pursuant rabble with a substantial berth.
Caldweth bellowed, his eyes red-hot in righteous anger. Whether or not he enjoyed these politic plays, there were certain proceedings, and they had been violated by one or more of the individuals present. This was unacceptable. mutineers, or do you have other instructions?>
---
In a surprising turn of events, L'ssa was actually where she was supposed to be for a mating flight, which was posted outside of O'ail's quarters in case of trouble. The tension of the surrounding crackled in her bones, and idly she bounced on the balls of her feet, sword at her hip. She wasn't meant to be a guard, not when there were bound to be all sorts of scuffles in the lower caverns! The flightlust burned like an itch in her veins, and it made her want to hit something.
Every muscle in her tensed when she felt Caldweth take to the skies, and with a little wiggle she let out a whoop. "We got a mutiny, ladies!" she shouted, giddy as a drudge with a meatroll, leaping from her guard perch and down to the ropes with a single fluid motion. Faranth bless whatever unfortunate soul lay at the bottom, because they were about to get a mouthful of boot.

Bronze Tiaeth- Time Dragon - Modifier= -1
Vosin gave a soft growl and sat up with Vesin. "What the bloody shards does she think she's doing? As if we aren't alienated enough, now she's going to attack their queen?!" Anger flashed across her face. They could very well be kicked from the weyr for this and it would all be Nersha's and Sereth's faults.
The gold did not seem particular impressed with him. All he could be was himself, and do what he saw as right. Tiaeth was relieved to have his sibling flying with him in this trying time. Evmeth, it is a good name. He gave a soft bugle as the gold tried to turn him from stopping Sereth. I wish I could listen to your kind wisdom fair gold. If Sereth had only wanted join the chase and cause you no harm, I would be pleased to. However, I cannot let her continue on her present course to cause you harm without regrets.
There. He said he was practically throwing the Flight in order to turn the time gold from her murderous path. It was not what he'd have rather done. Still his rider's approval soothed his feelings. I do not want violence dear Evmeth. If she comes to her senses and desists I would be glad to leave her be. Tiaeth glanced back at Kelilayth. I would rather deal with her ourselves, but... He heard the call for the wings blues and greens. They were certainly of a size to be able to deal with the wayward gold, and there was more of them by far than the time dragons. The bronze gnashed his teeth in frustration.
Sereth's comment to him and his clutchmate made his eyes whirl redly. Not yours?! Tiaeth cried in outrage. No loyalty when MINE went with YOUR rider into the camp and you were too shafting LAZY to move! Tiaeth moved himself to create an obstacle between the two golds. If Sereth wanted Evmeth, she would need to deal with him first. The gold's words had completely distanced the bronze from her.
Vos was up and heading toward Nersha's weyr when the wave of anger smacked her. She stumbled against the wall for a moment as her head reeled. Tiaeth? Calm down. Being angry won't help that stupid wherry. She scowled though as she straightened up. Just keep her away from Evmeth and to do that you need to keep your head. As much as she'd like to punch Nersha right now, it probably wouldn't help the situation any.
Total= 17 Sabotage to Sereth.

[ one roll for Kyoth, Pellinorth is (temporarily?) dropping out because Sereth ]
Sereth had gone right around him, and Pellinorth was not happy - not happy at all. His eyes had faded from a vivid indigo to an unhappy swirl of blue-white-purple. At his rider’s urging, he surged up after her, strong wings beating hard, aiming to - what, catch her? Persuade her to stop? Elane, somewhere, was scrabbling down a narrow tunnel, barely dressed. He wasn’t sure where she was, but she was certainly panicking.
he tried tentatively, prompted by Elane. He sent her an image of the two of them - then hastily recomposed it to include Regulith - splashing about in the lake in the weyrbowl, lovingly tended by their riders. Elane corrected the image for him, fed it back a little differently, made Sereth the very centre of attention - what lady wouldn’t like to be treated that way? - and he adjusted it again.
Kyoth - still uncertain, but reassured by Evmeth’s lack of concern (and as much as he feared the worst, if she wasn’t worried, it couldn’t be as bad as all that) = pushed R’soua’s concerns down at least a little, putting his muscle to work trying to catch up with the rest of the flight.

Regulith snapped back at Banneth, bellowing his displeasure at the elder bronze. yet.> They were training her, this he knew, and when she was ready she would fight Ra'fe and he would fight Banneth and then they would see what was what!
Lamira sent to her dragon, biting her lip and peering out of the store cupboard she had dived into when the chaos started. Everything was just a bit.... Well she just felt tired, which was strange. She'd felt so fresh when she had awoken but now she felt sluggish in body and in mind.
Regulith said firmly before turning back to Sereth, wonderful Sereth! He had planned to be in first wing when he graduated even if people did say he wouldn't be because his rider was a woman. These days... well first wing was very different that was for sure but he could still do one of the old duties, to highlight the glory of his queen!

Bronze Kelilayth | Time dragon | modifier=-1
Kelilayth could not believe the audacity of the time gold. He relayed every word of Sereth's to his.
"SHE SAID WHAT NOW?" Vesin shouted as her sister was already up and out the weyr as she pulled on shoes. She grabbed a jacket for both her and her sister as she too felt her bronze begin to get angry.
Kelilayth could not contain his anger, his eyes whirled red and it was hard to force himself after Evmeth. He released his anger on Sereth then, He roared in anger. His thoughts turned back to the task at hand. Sereth had made up their minds for them. <Evmeth, my wings are yours.> He continued on his track. <Tiaeth. That gold wherry is no longer where our loyalties should lie. As always, let me know if you require my assitance, I will carry on after Evmeth should Sereth make it through.>

Thalassinuth watched the chase through calm blue eyes, her mind quietly ticking over as she tried to determine the most likely outcomes and how they could be turned to her advantage. Whoever became the new Weyrleader would need to become their new friend of course; it wasn't with any malice that the green thought this, simply practicality. If her rider was to get what he wanted then it was necessary to have powerful allies and she herself was never against having new friends. Who would be it though and what consequences would Sereth's actions have?... And what was happening up there? The miniature dragon reared up on her hind legs to peer at the skies, her sharp eyes focusing keenly on the new-time gold. Now that was strange. She would talk to L'thor about this - all of this - later on. For now however he was pleasantly occupied and she was happy to leave him that way, it gave her time to think.

Lines were being drawn in the sand, even as Evmeth regained her balance. To Absoth, Morth, Malcarreth, Banneth, Hazmath, Zaqueth, Calanoth, Kyoth, and Kelilayth, the rising queen offered her warm reassurance, fanning out her broad wings and leveling out at her current altitude. Although her statement was only true in the most technical of senses, it would not do to broadcast her counterpart's anger and sluggishness to all who could see. To prove her point, she tilted her pale glimmering wings away from the weyr and started a wide turn, picking up speed as she began the twirl. Her eyes were scanning the ground for something, though at the moment the object of her searching remained unclear. ((Dragons in this group gain a +5 to their next roll!))
To Sanuyeth, Regulith, Tiaeth, Pellinorth, and the other dragons surrounding Sereth, Evmeth sounded off with a shrill chirp and a swirl of frustrated red in her wandering eyes. she inquired, the strain on her patience palpable in the form of bright (even glaring) sunlight. Her warning delivered, Evmeth returned to whatever she was searching for, a splash of satisftied blues flashing through her eyes when she set her sights on the open lake near the weyr. ((Dragons in this group roll as normal.))
Letting out a trill of excitement, Evmeth pulled her wings in and tilted, dropping her nose straight towards her target.
((It's dive time! If your dragon decides to participate in the dive itself, you may roll a d20 to determine how well your dragon succeeds! Additionally, before the end of the round you may make a second non-consecutive post and a second roll at a d10 for additional points! But beware! On any roll of a 1 your dragon fails to pull up from their dive, landing with a splash in the lake and disqualifying him from the rest of the flight! Fortune favors the bold, as they say!
If neither option appeals to you as a player, you are welcome to declare that you are taking a static 3 points towards your total. In this option, you would roll no dice. Please don't edit your posts this round, if you forget to roll then just roll in a separate post. <3 ))
