The girl blushed brightly at his words and then twiddled her thumbs a little as she looked at him carefully. "Well... my da is a stern man, sort of out of touch with things. He doesn't necessarily like riders. My mum was a candidate, he hated that my brothers wanted to follow her path. I was scared..." She stopped speaking and cast a look towards Kynigoth, who churred in her direction. "I was scared to tell my da about Kynigoth. He's a scary man." She laughed.
The dragonet blinked at her brother, <Everything has secrets my brother, divulge is to make known, announce, things like that. The flora, plants, they have secrets just as we do.> Kynigoth gave a throaty sound that was bordering on a purr as she looked at the blue dragonet.

“Did ya tell him, though?” Jamarin asked, “Did he take it allright?” If he didn't, if her father had said anything to hurt her... The thought that went through Jamarin's head were not nice ones. They involved fists and faces and making people pay. reassured Atibonth, Since the threat of violence was not immediate or even in the same area, Atibonth felt comfortable going a little ways away with his sister. said Atibonth,

Kalendol smiled and shook her head, pleased with what seemed to be her friend's concern. Her heart pitter-pattered within her chest and she blushed profusely at his words. In truth, after Kynigoth's hatching she'd written to tell her father of the dragonet's birth and beauty. "He took it pretty well, though... he demanded to meet this dragon. And my brothers also wrote me requesting to meet her. Haha, Kynigoth has many admirers now. At first da seemed rather uninterested. But he'd give it a try for his only daughter." She chuckled a little and shook her head.
Kynigoth meanwhile was perched near a small flowering plant that she sniffed at and then relaxed towards. <Hello little plant. Have you any secrets to share with me and minebrother.> Turning to Atibonth she chuckled, <Atibonth, it is proper to say hello to a new person.> She teased lightly, the little green curious.

“Oh. Good.” said Jamarin. So things were all right with her family, and her brothers, and all that good stuff. He relaxed, surprised that he could. “I don' need to worry about none of that. Just Jikki.” Atibonth reminded his rider. Yes, he'd have to talk to his twin – he'd delayed too long already. What he'd say, Jamarin didn't know, but hopefully the words would be there when he needed to say them, or at least some suitable ones. If he had any. “Just been me 'n Jikki for a while.” he confided, “And now, dragons too.” he looked at Kalendol. “What do you think your pa would think of a holdless brat like me, eh?” he asked suddenly. he said gamely, sniffing it in amusement, he remarked,

DraconicFeline ugh, sorry for the delayed response. Kalendol smiled as she noticed his relaxed posture; that was good. At least he could relax around her. Blinking her green eyes the young woman looked towards her dragon and his, smiling a little. But, when he'd mentioned it was just him and Jikkiri she frowned, "I'm sorry, you guys must've felt so alone." Instinctively she gave Jamarin's hand a squeeze, her soft eyes searching his face. If he wanted... no... She thought for a moment, debating the words to say how he wouldn't have to be alone anymore. <Mine, say how you feel?> The dragon chirped at her rider, privately, so Atibonth wouldn't hear.
When he asked her a very blunt, straight forward question she looked to him and cocked her head. What would her father think about him? A brilliant red tainted her cheeks, enough that if Kynigoth had been a crimson dragonet they would've matched appearances, "Well, my da would probably think you're a hard worker to have survived this long. And would probably be happy to meet you I'd think." A nervous giggle escaped her lips, followed by her eyes becoming wide.
"I mean... that is... if you'd like to meet him someday." She whispered softly, embarrassment made her look once more towards the young dragons.
<Ah, Atibonth, good show. Complimenting newcomers is decent of you.> The dragon seemed to hum with happiness, nudging her blue brother and shivering, causing her hide to shake. <I love the outside.> Kynigoth hummed louder.

Atibonth said, laughing, he hummed pleasantly in return. he sniffed its stem, “You think so?!” Jamarin said, surprised. He'd not been expecting a positive answer. “Sure. I'd like to meet this guy.” He seemed like an all right guy, in general. “Eh. I was fine.” he said dismissively, “We found a group, ran with them for a while. Y'know that shaved girl? V'? Yeah, shes from there too.” Yes. He was fine... but Jikki... Well, Jikkiri had managed. He always did. Either way... “This is nice.” he said, blushing a mild rose under his tanned skin, “We should walk like this again, sometime...”

Kynigoth blinked her eyes, her throat undulating with the force of her hum, <I dunno, flowers die too often if not cared for.> She thought and then sniffed the stem as well, snorting a little as the petals tickled her nose, <Must be it's legs.> She stated matter-of-factly.
Kalendol blushed back and nodded her head, "I'm glad you'd like to meet him." She bit her lower lip and then spotted a nice sunny patch, "Care to sit down for a bit? The dragonets look like they're having fun inspecting flowers." She asked, hopeful he would say yes. She liked spending time with him, admittedly. As he talked about his past, she listened intently, a flash of jealousy pouring into her mind. He must be close with V'. Hmph. She thought but pushed it aside to smile either way. "I agree, it'd be nice to come out on walks with you, Jamarin. I like spending time with you." She smiled.
