"Sure!" She shouted, grabbing up the bat from where it had fallen. Licking the bit of sweat off her lips, she nodded, "Whenever! I'm ready!"

Arith gave a nod and yelled back."Okay!"He pushed hit hat up a bit, as it had started to slid over his eyes, and threw the ball.

Liang swung hard, clopping the ball out and over the fence in right field. She stood there for a few seconds, trying to figure out what she'd just done. "Oops.." She whimpered, tears welling up in her eyes. She was coming down off her tomboy mood, and now she was worried that the boy would be mad at her for ruining their game.

Arith turned to watch the ball fly off over the fence, putting a hand over his eyes to see."Whoa, you hit da ball far!Dats a uhmm..home run!"He spun back torwards the girl, his smile fading slightly when he saw the girl looking sad?"Somefin wrong?I ca' go get da ball"He pointed over to where it had flown, thinking she was sad because had gone over the fence.

She sniffled, shaking her head, "It's ok. Ball gone." A yell sounded out from the edge of the ballpark, and when she turned to see who it was she saw big brother Teagan jogging shirtless up to the chainlink fence. "Come on!" He shouted, beckoning her over, "Finish up your game, we've got to get home!" She frowned, turning to the boy, "Have to go. Play again sometime?"

Arith watched as a guy came up to the fence and called for the girl.He smiled and nodded at her question."Sure!"

Liang started to run toward her brother, stopping half way to turn and look back at the furry boy, "Bye um.. What your name?" Her crest feathers fell against her head as she scrunched her face up, trying to remember if she'd told him her name either during their game. Suddenly names seemed a lot more important.

Liang smiled, taking a mental note of the name, "Nice'a meet Arith!" She pointed to herself, "My name is Liang." A shout from the fence caught her attention and she took off suddenly toward where her brother stood, impatiently flicking his tail. As she ran, she called out, "Play again sometime Arith!"
