We definitely like being able to know as much as you can possibly remember. The only way to get access back to those accounts is through this process as it helps us verify that you are the original account owner. Zero Omega Bread Bus Usernames There used to be a troll ages ago (2006) and I like his name, Bred Bus. If I take the name of the troll and cause absolutely no trouble, is that okay? Or would it be best if I changed to something else? I probably should have asked this before doing the name change x_x. We wouldn't be changing the name of the troll's account so that it would be freed up to be used, sorry!

July 5th, 2017: Lanzer StarvstheForcesofEvil Is it true that Lanzer mentioned something about tweaking with the system in order to free up usernames? I asked about it, seeing if people would be open to logging in with their email so that we can open up usernames from old accounts. Result was pretty negative. Haven't looked into it further after that.

You can find them at the bottom of every Gaia Online webpage. I've messaged a mod about this, and was told its something on their end and that i've done nothing wrong ....yet.. But I don't want to end up banned for something I haven't done yet. This account hasn't yet had any warnings and I've been keeping myself on the good side of light. Think this can be looked into? June 26th, 2018: Zero Omega Halcyone ter Avest Misc: UsernamesThere is a username I have been eyeing for some time now, and the account attached to it has not logged in since April of 2010, their last post was August of 2009, and their avatar is also devoid of any items. Is there a way to claim the username? You can file a ticket at our Help Center to try and ask for it. However we cannot guarantee that we'll be able to free up the name for you.

Hi there, File a General Inquiry ticket in our Help Center. When they get to your ticket they will probably ask some questions to verify the account is yours. If you answer the questions correctly you should regain access to it.

January 15th, 2019: Jak Bauer Nejjh Account settings Well hi gaia staff my question is about my username well A while ago I changed it because i kinda wanted to have a new one but I regret it after I did it so when I tried to get it back I always get the General Error message but I'm pretty sure it is not taken though there are many users that have Nejih in their usernames My question is if there is a way I could have it back since I'd had that username for over a decade? Hi there, Yes, it is possible in some situations to be able to reassign names to other accounts. But we can not guarantee being able to do so in every case, and unfortunately this is one of those times. There are many reasons for this from an account we can not verify has been abandoned to another name that is similar enough that the system will not let us reuse the name once we have removed it from the old account.
