In a past AtS, we were told that there was a formula in the works for golden fragments. How much longer must we wait for it?! We're all itching for an alternative route to grab golden fragments other than luck and lots of extra cash on hand and can't wait!

Are the updates still planned? If so, is it possible it will be delayed further?

Concerning Dumpster Dive, thanks to the admin who dumps papers into it, but could you possibly dump fish instead? Paper and bugs are currently obtainable thru towns, but fish aren't and lots of alchemy recipes require fish.

Hello, me and others are stuck on completing our alchemy backwing formulas because of the really expensive items like White Body Dye and Diamondback Lion. We will never be able to afford those prices. Can you make items like those more available and easier to get? I suggest maybe alchemy formulas or in GoFusion? Or maybe in new Caches and new RIGs? We would be happy if you make new possible and affordable ways to get them.
The Diamondback Lion is available in a RIG through GoFusion and White Body Dye is craftable - you just have to catch bugs in towns in order to make it. These are supposed to be hard to get since the backwing formula is the ultimate crafting quest!
Will the Luna's Incense be available again? It was recently released in the tier, but they aren't very common and they're used in the formula for [Animal] Machia. Which by the way feels like paws are being punished for wanting a paw version since we'd have to do double the work plus play more just to get it, but that's another separate thing.
Luna's Incense will be very common as it is being added as a drop in Lake Kindred, similar to Emerald Seeds and Suspicious Packages.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! Everything in Grab Bags and Caches should be used in Alchemy.
"The amount of some items dropping waaayyy too frequently is counteracting the purpose of items being replenished. Items only used rarely or once in a formula are dropping more often than items that need multiples are not dropping often enough. With opening hundreds of trunks myself, 750 of those done to collect some presentable data, I've done up a list of recommendations of what could possibly be adjusted fairly to maximize the usefulness of the trunks without eliminating of the items and hopefully without any deliberate bias***.

In Lake Kindred, I have yet to need to use a refresh potion and I get them incessantly. *eye twitch*
It would be nice to get more antidote potions, since it's possible to be poisoned early on but not need refresh. Maybe exclude refresh from the drop pool from the first stage please? Or increase the drop rate of antidote.
Especially since several of the new alchemy formulas require a number of them.

In alchemy when you check a recipe to see what ingredients you need, the "X" to close the pop up sometimes does not work. Can you please fix this?
We'll have to take a look to see what is happening but yes this should be fixable. Anyone else also having this problem?
I can tell you exactly when it happens: It happens any time you open a second formula (including the same formula a second time) without refreshing the page. (Moving to a different page of the formula listings counts as refreshing the page.)

Loyal's recent gate items are rather nice. However, some of them ended up in several copies in most inventories (those with higher drop rates probably).

This is because a large number of Kindred items were created before Paw versions were made. We are now generally including them into the level rewards of most Kin before Human sets.

Would it be possible to see alchemy recipes that use the game items from Electric Love Factory and Pinball? It would be nice if those power-ups could be used for something else.
To make an Alchemized version of Hermes’ Moon, several paths require sacrificing any one of the different gens of the original. It seems kind of silly to sacrifice an item and other items to create essentially the same item. Any alchemist worth his/her weight in gold wouldn’t take a pound of gold, a pinch of salt, 3 ounces of copper, and a cup of water and alchemize it all into exactly one pound of gold, wasting the salt, copper, and water to create what they already had. That said, would it be possible to remove the redundancies of those alternative paths and perhaps replace it with new paths (or at least remove those convoluted paths for now and add new alternative paths later)?
I think the possibility for us to go through and "clean up" the older alchemy recipes exists, but it would be a pretty massive project. So we'll have to see if it's something that can feasibly be done while weighing it out against other things we could be updating or fixing.

I've been looking for Angel's Sweat for awhile now, I've opened over 250 lite fish drops and nothing, I keep getting aquarium junk, towns junk, and gold shop items. Can you please bump up the drop rate for these alchemy components or let us craft them? I went ahead and put some Angel's Sweat into Ye Olde Trunk of Forgotten Things. You can find it in The Bifrost! I think it'll be a lot easier to get than it is in the fish drops.

Could you perhaps replace the Singes with some other potions in Kindred Wild level 5. They're useless to most people who are playing at that level and they have a VERY high drop rate. If not, maybe an Alchemy formula that uses them as an ingredient to formulate an antidote or mega heal or something? And is it also possible to make a formula that lets you trade in Prunnies for other kins? Because I've ended up getting waaay too many prunnies. If the Kandy and Jack seeds are going to leave the game with the end of the event, could you please add alchemy formulas to make them? Not everyone could play the game all day every day to get the amounts needed for the alchemy formulas. And I specifically did not get any seeds until the last few days of the event so I really couldn't get all of the ones I needed.

These two items are HEAVILY used in many of the new alchemy formulas including eggs and splicing shards and I was wondering if those "behind" on their splicing and egg goals will have to grind our way to get as much kandy as possible before the event ends today/tomorrow.

Can we have older RIG Kin get Alchemy Formulas? Like Blood Grunny, Ember the Fox...ones whose RIGs have left the CS. It would be great to have a method to get them that doesn't involve heavy amounts of luck, and also enable more to be found in Gaia as a whole.

Kandies and seeds are exclusive to the Halloween event, so the answer is likely no.

Can you start putting fish in the dumpster and increase our chances of getting a fish from the daily chance? Yes we have a fish rig but it's not enough. We need fish for alchemy, I along with plenty of others need them for formulas.
Fish presently can go in Dumpster Dive, more peeps just need to toss them in! Rufus approves.

Sometime back it was said that certain items would be taken out of the drops at the Temple and that we would get Alchemy formulas that would allow us to use multiples of them (Kaede's Hope, Mizuki's Galive, Serene Green, etc). Will we be seeing this soon? The Temple still drops these items and my inventory is getting so full of them.
With regards to the Temple drops, they will be removed today. We're still exploring options for the Alchemy formulas.

But what if we cant? Example, the shops don't load well on my computer, so I cant do alchemy. It's old and I'm broke so getting a new one isn't an option. Don't really see why you cant unbind them, especially since you unbound a bunch of stuff for LK like the kin drops.
With the amount of times I've gotten this question, I WOULD have unsoulbound the orbs if I could. However it is not as easy as it seems.

Asked this several times but haven't gotten a response.
I asked over a month ago about making cash shop kin craftable since its not fair for the rest of us that don't have the money to spend on gc that you can only get most of the CS kin that way or for an outrageous price in the mp. I was told they would do this but so far the only kin in Alchemy are the Halloween ones. Whats up with that? Are we going to get the CS ones or not?

We heard from Excitable Sloth last week that unsoulbinding the Charge Orbs isn't as easy as we think. This is more of an "Out of Curiosity" question, but is it due to a coding issue? Like, are they still deeply connected to the zOMG code, or is it because they're Game items, making the process more difficult or even impossible? I remember Rance saying he Splicing Shards couldn't go directly into the CS due to their coding, so I wonder if it's the same situation with the Charge Orbs.

Great idea! We'll keep it in mind next time we do updates to Alchemy. That may happen!
Unsoulbinding the charge orb would be complicated.
Currently, to be able to gift, sell or donate them, one needs to craft orb aggregates which is needing 100 of them -- which can take a moment to gather.
There may be a way in the near future to get rid of Charge Orbs.
