True story: one time ages ago I was doing one of the very first golden tickets ever and chatting to Milkbun as I did so, and sending her occasional screencaps of my progress since it was an item I wanted feedback on.
I save every few brushstrokes, compulsively. Literally as I was placing the last pixel I saved and the power went out. The file corrupted and I lost the entire thing. We spent ages trying to restore it or find an auto-save somewhere in my hard drive and I eventually had to re-assemble it from the screencaps which were only of two poses out of the entire item, and redo the rest.
I now use automatic version restore backup with Dropbox, it is worth the extra cash lol.

I have another question inspired by Seduces' answer to an earlier question. What are you favorite beauty/skincare products to use? I need recommendations! haha
Two of my favorites are charcoal masks (I use a cheapo Daiso brand LOL) and this sugar face scrub.
Girl I am all about that snail slime. I am a snail slime convert.
And also my entire routine is oil-based now. I used to avoid oil like the plague and that was I think a mistake for me personally. I also stopped physical exfoliation like scrubs except on my elbows/legs/rough body spots and my lips (I exfoliate my lips every night haha), and I use chemical exfoliants for my face now and that not very often.
I have very bad skin but it's miles better than it used to be o/ It used to be an absolute monster but it's controllable now.

Misc./Artists Hello to any artists there, I was just curious. But where do y'all get inspiration for color schemes? c: All of y'all are geniuses, and have made awesome schemes. (I know some are usermade though.)
When I made Taffy I wanted it because I love pastel yellow and lavender haha. For bluebellvine I wanted something that I liked with cotton candy blue, and realized I REALLY liked how tea green worked with it haha.
When I combine stuff it's just experimentation, tho I don't make many schemes up (taffy was technically before I was an artist, and bluebellvine is still something I'm pushing for lol )

The easy way to make it is to shred up potato and mix it with breakfast sausage haha. My mom puts 'em in casing and all that jazz, but I always just fry mine up lol. She is much better at them than I am (years of practice I guess). It's Swedish or something to that effect hehe.

I had a great day on gaia yesterday. found something i've been questing for, for 4 years as part of an outfit for 1/100 of its normal asking price. (current outfit is a victory call out to finding it and finally completing my 2k13 frosted event set)
What was your best market or outfit find?
I think my best marketplace find was a few years before I started working here. Someone mispriced a Devil Tail and I got it for 5 bil instead of 50 bil, if I recall right. :'D

Wanted to take this Ask the Staff to announce that I have made the decision to step away from Gaia and take up a job at a new company. As someone who has been a Gaian since 2003, being a part of this team as a mod, and then as an admin, has been an amazing and enlightening experience. It was not an easy decision to make and one I did a lot of soul searching for, but an opportunity was presented to me that I couldn't really ignore. My last day as an admin will be October 31, 2018!
I want you to know that I broke my streak of not visiting Gaia in years for this. All so I could say that it's about time. Hopefully with you gone, Gaia can once again thrive and not be subjected to your evil whims. Your mods won't have to suffer from your iron-fisted tyranny anymore!

How have your eating habits changed since Stay at Home started :O
I've somehow managed to eat more rice than ever... but I miss sushi an Boiling Crab a lot....
I've been ordering a lot of delivery, when normally I prefer cooking for myself. In the past, we would just go to the grocery store every day or two to get what we needed short term.
This is more for Zero Omega. But I noticed one time a few months ago that you had a couple of X Japan songs in your playlist. Were you able to go to their live show at Madison Square Garden this year and have you gone to any of their shows?
No. T___________T I really, really, really wanted to but I didn't have the funds to because it was going to cost so much. I really hope they stop by locally soon enough because I'd see them in a heartbeat.

That is to say, I haven't played in forever. xd I like the idea of it, I've heard a lot of complaints about it. I think it's probably something that sounded good on paper but might have been poor in practice because it relies on people being reliable. I'll have to give it a try in the future though.
cx I would say to not rank or play normal draft until the next few patches when that sort some stuff out. They say queue is shorter, I tried it once and queue time seems the same. Very very odd when banning is after selecting champs. I'll just leave this here. (Warming: Lots and lots of F bombs XD)

Thank you! I will certainly miss being part of the community in this kind of role. My new job, to put it very simply, is basically creating mod and customer support teams for other companies using members of the company's community.

My main question is why is Flynn's Plunder still a thing if it's been inactive for YEARS. Also, is it really going to take months (like I was told) for somebody to read my bug report? :p
I was in charge of the customer support team.
Flynn is still a thing, I was actually supposed to be updating it but got really busy. I'm handing that responsibility off to someone else who can hopefully take better care of it than me.

Hey regular Gaians, I know a lot of you like to throw smoke at the mod team for the s**t they have to do. But I've been part of this team for 12 years. These guys are ******** incredible and the stuff they have to deal with and work on you would never be able to dream of. I know stuff seems a bit freaky sometimes, but this team is the best mod team I have ever seen in community websites I have been on and visited. Their work is tiring and thankless, and even though they volunteer for it it's coming from a place of passion and dedication for the site to give you all a better experience.
If you think you're better than the team and know better, then put your money where your mouth is and apply. Doing the job is a lot harder than you would actually think and the trials and tribulations you go through as a team member are immense. Bring it.

1. The mod and internal team here. Without them we couldn't run this site and we couldn't provide you guys the experiences you love (and love to hate).
2. Probably not doing any give aways, I have avatars to make with my stuff.
