Hm? Scarlet blinked, letting her spoonful of food hang in front of her for a few seconds before putting it back down to her plate. You work for the money yourself? She looked at Ashley as if he grew a second head. The furniture and fixtures within the household were not mediocre and it is not normal for a boy to have such talent to have earned that much to purchase them. Then again, Aphrodite did say that they were scholars so they must be really smart. Even smarter than her since she had no idea how he did it. Then it hit her, what does people like them and people like her have in difference? You must have a wide range of connections then for you to acquire such treasures. She smiled, happy to have concluded to such thought. She might be wrong but this is the only thing that she could think of right now, given the information she had with the two. Neither do I. Well, not that much any. Honestly, Rose is screening them so much to the point that I cannot even decide for myself. She said as she swing her spoon pointing it to them for emphasis before putting it in her mouth. Though there's nothing to complain about. Since I ended up as your knight. So I guess it's worth the wait. She said casually as she took a sip from her juice.

Aphrodite & Ashley Evermore  We're all in the same game; Just different Levels... Aphrodite gave a giggle, hiding her face as she tried to stop. "N-no... we don't know anybody... Bro worked two jobs a day, and at night he won countless games... we just have good taste" She blurted out. Ashley remained silent, continuing with eating his food. "You helped to, Ace" he said quietly. After a few moments he took out his phone and snapped another picture of Scarlet. Dealing with the same Hell: Just different Devils...

It was a shock for the young lady to hear such thing. To think that a royal would actually work that much for their own things. Here she thought that their kind were people who are born with a golden spoon in their mouths, guess she was wrong. You guys, never seize to surprise me. She giggled. It was put to a halt however once she heard the familiar sound his phone. The image of her in the animal suit flashed through her mind in fear. Instinctively she stood up and tried to grab the phone off his hands across the table. One of her hands reaching for it and the other leaning over the table for support. Unfortunately, her hand landed on her plate making slip off the table falling onto the table face first one of her hands still raised, twitching in pain.

Aphrodite & Ashley Evermore We're all in the same game; Just different Levels... Ashley safely placed his phone in his pocket, only to jump back in his seat as Scarlet fell forwards. He helped her up with gentle hands once he had reached her side. Aphrodite was continuing with eating her food, trusting her brother to take care of everything. "Are you alright?" his voice was surprisingly soft as he led her to the bathroom. Dealing with the same Hell: Just different Devils...

The girl abruptly pushed herself off the table of which she landed, blinking back her tears, taking in deep breaths as she felt Ashley's gentle hands on her sides. She was unable to give any other response other than a nod. Indeed that was some stunt she performed, something to be extremely embarrassed about. As he assisted her towards the bathroom, her expression remains as is, trying to restrain herself from submitting to the pain she was feeling. Once she saw the girl staring back at her in the mirror, her eyes grew wide. She looks completely like a mess, hair out of place, food smudged all over face and the worst part is... Thanks Ash. Sorry. I need a minute. When she felt that she was already out of his hearing range she began to panic, shouting her lungs out. My glasses! Oh my goodness! My glasses they are... It would be a shame if she were to run around the campus without them. She'll definitely bump into things and trip more than usual. What am I gonna do? Some knight she is.
Scarlet you have a spare in your room. stop panicking will you? Rose suddenly pitched in. Oh right! Silly me. She giggled to herself. As she was about to head out of the bathroom Rose cleared her throat gesturing her to clean herself up first before exiting. Right. Sorry. After fixing herself up she head out of the bathroom not sure if they heard her outburst in their bathroom. Hi... Uhm.. sorry about that. Apparently I've broken my glasses so I would need to get my things as soon as possible. You can leave the dishes by the sink. I'll go and wash them later on as soon as I come back. she said sheepishly.

Aphrodite & Ashley Evermore We're all in the same game; Just different Levels... Aphrodite was already cleaning everything up by the time Scarlet had come back. "Jush go... Ash Shelp shu" She said as she continued chewing on a large piece of bacon. One could never seem to separate Aphrodite from her food. Ashley flicked his little sisters head as he helped her do the dishes. After a few moments he turned to Scarlet and nodded. "We'll be ready in a sec" he said as he picked Aphrodite up and carried her to their room. The both of them changed and had met up with Scarlet again in the matter of minutes. Again Scarlet was left with nothing to do. This is still something she needs to get used to. She sat comfortably in the couch to as she awaits for the two to finish. So shall we? The girl quickly stood up from her seat as soon as the two arrive in the living room leading them out of their home. Just a heads up. My place is not really luxurious as yours. She said as she glanced over her shoulder at the two.

Aphrodite & Ashley Evermore  We're all in the same game; Just different Levels... Ashley kicked open the front door and carried both girls up to Rose's room. He took extra care when he lay Rose down on her bed. He ws then kicked out by Aphrodite who rummaged through Scarlet's things and picked out pajamas. Aphrodite then silently changed Rose's clothes. Downstairs, Ashley was cooking. It seemed that the both of them were good at looking after others, even if they were terrible at looking after themselves. Dealing with the same Hell: Just different Devils...

Rose's eyes popped open when she heard the door being kicked opened. No longer did she pretend that she was asleep and let herself be lay down on her bed. If the kind of treatment she'll get if she was to become their knight she would not mind being so. Having servants is such a pleasing sensation who simply could never reject. As soon as that was done. Ashley left the room while Aphrodite started to rummage through Scarlet's stuff. She stared at the little devil while she continuously dug in to the luggage, wondering what she might be doing. When she stopped she had Scarlet's clothes in her hands. Her wits came back when she started to dress her up. Ep.Ep.Ep. She raised he hand motioning her to 'stop'. I'll take that. She said with a stern voice laying down her hands asking for her clothes. She wanted their care and treatment but not to the point that the Aphrodite would have to dress her up.

"If you don't strip yourself in three seconds, and if you don't allow me to dress you... I'm calling Bro" she threatened, watching Rose with an unwavering gaze. Regardless of whether or not Aphrodite called him, Ashley would walk in when the food was done, already expecting Aphrodite to be done with clothing Rose. "Don't be difficult, this is all your fault." She added, giving Rose a dark look as she waited for Rose's answer. Dealing with the same Hell: Just different Devils...

Rose rolled her eyes. As if her words would pose as a threat. Go ahead call him. See if I care. She said her words oozing with sarcasm. She then crawled over to the edge of the bed forcefully grabbing her clothes away from Aphrodite and tried to stand on her own feet. I am fully capable of dressing myse-e-elf!!! Her words were quickly followed by a loud thump as she fell on the floor. She groaned. Looking back at the little devil she clicked her tongue before giving out an exasperated sigh. Fine! Just make sure not to tell anyone else that you did this. You hear me?! With that she placed the clothes beside her and started to strip of her clothes. Could this day get any worse?

Aphrodite & Ashley Evermore We're all in the same game; Just different Levels... Aphrodite refrained from commenting as she waited patiently for Rose to strip. She was fine as long as Rose didn't inconvenience her brother. Ashley heard the thump and looked up suddenly. He had been making a cake and had flour on his nose. His eyes were bright with worry as he darted up the stairs, pausing to knock on the door. "Hello? I'm coming in!" he said, opening the door a tiny bit since Aphrodite had encouraged him to enter, even though she hadn't finished clothing Rose. Aphrodite did this as revenge, she didn't like Rose's behavior, and much preferred Scarlet, though she knew her brother liked both of them. Ashley stepped in and froze, only able to move after a few seconds. He should've remembered that Aphrodite was possessive and that she'd try something like that. He spun around and shut the door, waiting outside. "I'm sorry!" he called out, by way of apology as he felt his cheeks burn. It seemed that the siblings, when taking care of someone, could be in separate rooms, but if they weren't looking after someone, they'd have a breakdown. Though if a stranger were to approach them when they were separated, regardless of whether or not they were caring for someone, they'd instantly have a breakdown. Dealing with the same Hell: Just different Devils...

Rose's eyes stared down Aphrodite as she dress her up. Fortunately she picked a dress so all she needed to do was to put it on then it would be all done. She could have just done it by herself but that would make the little devil grumpier than before besides it was as if she had a maid to dress her up just like a member of the royal family. She lifted her hands up in the air to let Aphrodite slip down the dress to her body when there was a knock on her door. Hearing Ashley's voice she quickly slid down the dress to cover up her body but got stuck in her panic. It shouldn't have startled her since he was able to see her in a bikini but this was different they were no longer in the hot springs. As soon as she was able to completely dressed herself, she glared at Aphrodite's little prank. Ashley asked permission, she was the only one other than her in the room so that would mean she allowed him to enter. You pesky little devil!!! She leaned in closer and reached out to her hair. If was successful she would probably slap her hard on the face.

Aphrodite & Ashley Evermore We're all in the same game; Just different Levels... Ashley's expression darkened as his ability told him what Rose was about to do. At an almost inhumane speed, Ashley had entered the room and grabbed Rose's hand, standing between her and Aphrodite. "Rose..." his voice was soft and yet held a dangerous edge to it when he spoke her name. After a few silent moments, he picked her up and lay her back on the bed. Aphrodite was looking at her brother with an awed expression. Him saving her from anything, be it death or a slap, being saved by him made her love him even more. Her love for her brother was almost unnatural. Ashley looked down at Rose, but didn't smile. It took him a while to forgive those who even tried to hurt Aphrodite, even just a little bit. "I will bring some food up here soon... for now, relax" he said, turning his back to her and picking up his sister with one hand as he walked out of the room.
