Yume Toas music playlist

Yume waves bye to Seren as she left the classroom. With class about to end , Yume held her books close to her chest as she waited for the bell to ring. She turned her attention back to Prim and smiled at her comment. " Y..Yeah. It seems like it'll be a fun year w..we'll be heading to. " As the bell rang, she up from her desk and picked up her bag. " I..it was nice to meet you P..Prim. I have swimming class after this. I...I'll see you later...I think if that is okay? " She asked since she nervous if the words she picked were right to ask or not.

Prim nodded to Yume. "It was nice to meet you too, Yume. Have fun in your swimming class. I'll see you later." She waved at Yume as she left. Prim got up and left after the bell had rung. She was thinking about the school year and how it would all turn out. So far so good, she thought. She passed through the halls, slinking her way through the masses. Prim went to step outside, but had run into a white, fluffy, cold, cloud. Prim blew on it, and wondered where it had come from. The cloud was snowing down on her hand. "Brr." She shivered. She tried getting away from it, but it followed behind her, snowing through the hallway to the outside. "Stop following me, I don't like being cold!" She shouted at it, to no avail. Things were certainly getting weird around here. The cloud couldn't have gotten there on its own. Prim sighed and gave into the persistent cloud, maybe if she ignored it, it would go away. Prim just wanted a quiet place to go between classes, but it seemed that was not possible.

Hydro, watching the cloud from her prior perch in the tree, frowned. The cloud wasn't supposed to cling to a target too long. She quietly instructed it to move onto another student, and split it into two smaller puffs to keep from the singular getting too powerful. After all, most of the students in this school probably didn't have one bit of magic sense to them.

"Go bug a pixie or something," she told the second one. Re-hiding her staff, she went to find a good place for a hot cocoa. The wind didn't chill her as easily as the students, but that wasn't any reason not to enjoy the popular beverage of the season.

Stepping back from the message board at the high school Aylin admired the little flyer. The PR department of the alliance had done a bang up job of drawing an illustration of one of the many casimir trees around Gaia for the casimir tree conservation seminar flyer. The twisting cream colored trunk of the casimir tree made way into the blue green circular leaves and the golden colored casimir seeds hanging from its branches. Aylin did have to admire those who had a talent for the graphic arts and sometimes she spent a little too much time admiring their work. With her focus elsewhere the diminutive pixie didn't noticed the cottony fluff of cold and snow headed her way at first. The moment the first bits of cold air reached her wings Aylin was quickly snapped back to reality.

"What the...a snow cloud in this weather? Now where did you come from,” Aylin wondered as a look of utter puzzlement came across her face.

The cloud was anything but ordinary. If it had been simple fog Aylin would have brushed if off as nothing more than condensed water vapor. However, the fact that the temperature that day had broken the seventy degree mark, the sky was a pristine blue, and the little cloud was currently snowing had Aylin's mystical senses going full blast. There was magic in the air and Aylin could feel it down to her bones. It was the one thing in the realm of pixie magic that Aylin couldn't have backfire on her in a rather hilarious fashion. Simple spells were always unpredictable for her but Aylin could always be counted on to be a living magic detector. However, just because she knew magic was involved Aylin could only detect the location of the magic's source roughly seventy percent of the time. Like her physical magic, Aylin's ability to locate where magic originated from was also rather unpredictable.

"Whoever created you can't be too far away and I must say they are pretty creative," Aylin commented as she looked around the school grounds before giving the cotton soft cloud a gentle touch.

The cloud had dissipated, Prim shrugged. She headed back in to finish out her day. The hours passed, and the final bell had rung. She thought about all of the opportunities that she had, now being the freshman she was. So far things were strange to say the least. Though, she had made two friends; that was a plus. The first day had ended, but the year had only just begun. She left the building. She noticed a pixie standing there by the message board. She saw that the pixie had posted a flyer like the many in her hand. The pixie seemed in awe of it. Prim was curious, and flyers always intrigued her. She approached the pixie. "Um...what are these for?" Prim cocked her head examining the flyer. Prim was open to supporting any causes that would help the community.

As Prim approached the pixie, the cloud had no choice but to move along, already had been directed not to bother a target excessively, and floated to find a new person to hover over.
Its twin had found it's way to the library and was snowing exclusively for the librarian. Hydro had located a nearby cafe and hoped they had hot cocoa.

The moment Aylin's hand had touched the little cloud it dissipated and moved away in a trail of wisps. It was after all just ice crystals held together with water vapor that was somehow directed her way by some form of magic. It appeared to have its base in the water element. Aylin was familiar with water based magic having dealt with members of the water clan of pixies. Someone versed in magic was around the high school but just who or what they were wasn't important at that moment. The cloud was harmless and most likely created out of practice or prank. Aylin let out a soft chuckle because usually it was her playing the harmless pranks on people not the other way around. However, she wasn't given very much time to dwell on the harmless fun directed her way.

The bell had rung signaling the end of the school day and within moments the high school students began to funnel out of the school. Just as Aylin had predicted the students passed by the message board without much as a second look that is until she heard a soft young feminine voice inquiring about the flyer she had posted. Turning in the direction the girl was faced she saw her standing there with a cocked head trying to figure out her very flyer. Upon first glance Aylin could tell the girl was roughly the same age as her nephew's daughter. It was the perfect opportunity to reach out to a younger citizen of Barton Town on a one on one basis.

"I see you're looking at the flyer for our next conservation seminar," Aylin remarked in attempt to engage the teen in casual small talk, "The Gaia Casimir Allinace is a group around Gaia that, among other things, works to preserve a very special type of tree on Gaia. We do a lot of work with school kids to show them how they can help. You're more than welcome to come to our talk next week."

Aylin reached into her bag and pulled out a smaller version of the flyer she had posted at the school and held it out for the young teen. She seemed interested in what the flyer had to say but whether or not she would come was another thing all together.

Walking out of school Seren recognized the short figure speaking and handing something to Prim, it was Aylin Barton's very own little pixie resident she had heard about from some stories her grandma told of her that had to do with fake but real at the same time wedding of some sort. Intrigued Seren decided to see what was on the board as well.

Prim nodded and took the flyer. "Okay. I'll definitely try to come. I'm all for saving trees. These trees looks special, too." She smiled to the pixie, and bowed politely. "Thank you for the information, I'll let my friends know too!" Prim then made her way to Barton Square, where she said she'd meet Yume. Upon arriving at the Square, Prim noticed a familiar silhouette at the fountain. It had been four years since she'd seen her. The one whom she had met at the orphanage when she was only ten. It was Lunette. Prim bit her lip a bit, she knew that Lunette was envious of her. Perhaps she had changed though, she seemed fine at the distance. Prim decided to take a chance and went over to talk to her. "Hey, Luney, long time no see. How have you been? I'm a freshmen this year. How about you? What have you been up to?" Prim nervously giggled, awaiting Lunette's response.

Yume Toas music playlist

Yume comes out of the school after her last class of the day took most of her time. Remembering that she was to meet Prim at barton Square, she wonders if she should leave her bike at home since it wasn't far from Barton Square. But Yume decided against it and walked to the location while holding her bike at her side since she didn't feel like biking. Putting her headphones on , she listened to music as she walked. As soon as she reached the Square, Yume sees Prim talking to someone, not wanted to interrupt their conversation, she goes sit by a tree and draw the fountain as well as some birds that were by it. 'Hmm should I use the blue color pencil or the green. their colors seem like a mix so I think using both would be a lovely idea She happily continues to draw.

I added some more info on Lunette's Origins section to try to make the relationship between Prim and Lune more understandable.

*eye twitch*

Someone with an annoyingly familiar voice had just dared to use the intolerable nickname for Lunette. That stupid nickname always rubbed her wrong because it sounded like looney, as in nutso. Lunette was most definitely NOT a mental case.

With an icy glare, and the beginnings of a headache, Lunette turned to see the one person who annoyed the heck out of her the most: Primrose Papillion.

Tch, if it isn't Princess Pinkstorm. What do you want? And don't call me luney!!! Lunette shouted the last bit, effectively startling the birds pecking around the fountain.

Ever since those two had met at the orphanage four years ago, there had been a strange rivalry between Lunette and Prim. Prim was popular because she was so peppy and social. Lunette on the other hand was more of an introvert who did more thinking than talking. This alone wouldn't seem like enough to spark contention between the two...except that Prim was four years younger than Lunette. It still boggled and enraged Lunette as to how a kid that was four years her junior could be the center of attention. In many ways, the whole thing was like sibling rivalry. At least, in Lunette's mind it was. The truth of the matter was that Prim wasn't contending with Lunette, Lunette was fighting against Prim. It was a one-sided battle.

Lunette stared down at her empty coffee cup as if it was a bug, but her real agitation was with Prim.

I could care less what you are up to. To me, you're just another annoying teenager who interrupts my peace and quiet. A working woman has better things to do than to bother with some Pink Prep.

Lunette stood up, acting as if she was about to walk away.

Prim twiddled her thumbs a bit, standing there as she listened to Lunette's response. "I just wanted to know how you were doing. I'm actually here to meet a friend. I'm sorry for calling you Luney." Prim was a bit upset inside, knowing that Lunette hadn't really changed, even after four years. She really wanted to give her a chance. Prim made a small fist at her side. She was holding back tears, like she had been rejected. She faked at smile and turned away. "I guess I'll leave you to your business then. Feel free to join me if you change your mind though. You're always welcome." There was a sense of pain in her voice, but she kept her smile. Deep inside she just wanted to be Lunette's friend. It hurt knowing she didn't want her around. She didn't know why Lunette seemed to dislike her so much. Prim felt a bit sorry for Lunette though, she seemed lonely. Prim walked away, rubbing her eyes and went to see if Yume had arrived. She spotted Yume by the tree and approached her. "Hey, Yume! Do you wanna go walk around the square a bit? I know where you can find some really good deals on art supplies and other things. Maybe we can get something to eat too? If you want to." Prim suggested acting happy but still a bit shaken from what had happened. She figured hanging out with her new friend would help her clear her mind.

Seeing that the poster was information from the GCA, Seren smiled and thanked Aylin for the poster and headed off to the square to search for music for the Astronomy club show coming up.

Lunette let Prim prattle on, not really listening to anything she was saying. She had learned long ago how to turn on the mute button when Prim was talking. The lack of a nattering voice indicated Lunette was finally alone, but she had felt more than heard Prim leave. Her back was to where Prim had been. Lunette turned her head to the left to briefly glance back over her shoulder. What she saw was Prim trying to be cheerful, but there was a distinct slump to the younger girl's shoulders, indicating she had been shaken in more ways than one. Even while she went to meet up with some other kid her age, Lunette could tell her pep was all a front.

That small part of Lunette that actually had a conscience felt rotten for being such an overgrown baby. There was no excuse for her to be fighting Prim as if she was a younger sister trying to steal the spotlight.

All Lunette wanted was for people to like her and want to be around her. She wanted acknowledgement of her skills and better points. She never got that from "normal" people. There was no point in trying to get praise from the "uber nerd" crowd. She was into their games, but she wasn't some geek who spent too many hours online and had no idea what a social life was. It was like being stuck between a rock and hard place.

Sighing inwardly, Lunette walked away from the fountain in Barton square. She wasn't particularly going any place, and thus found herself walking toward her place of work, Pulse Edge Music. She stopped in front of the store and gazed up at the "Hot Deals" sign.

Hmm, might as well check out some new music. I've been meaning to buy that new J-pop album from Sakura Chaos anyway. Lune thought to herself. Shrugging, Lunette entered the store.

After a harried librarian left, cursing and muttering about some snow cloud, Hydro decided to allow this cloud to evaporate as well. Sighing, she wondered what she could do for amusement next. She didn't know how laid back Bartonities were, but she wanted to cause a little more mischief. Plus, her cocoa was gone.

"Well, perhaps something will be going on in the square."
