Ling lay there his good antenna waving allowing him to 'watch' her every move without moving. Tolerating her aide so he could heal faster and get back out on the field. "One needs only to kill cursed." He hissed, his voice quite and a bit hoarse. .

She raised a brow at his answer, but shrugged, taking it as a 'no'. "Okay then," she simply says, going back to her work; she gets out needle and thread to take care of a few bigger wounds she didn't want to open up before he got back to camp, though she left the majority of the minor stuff alone. Then she went about bandaging what she could. "I'm not sure I can do much about your antenna," she finally says, eyeing it, "..and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want me touching it anyway." She'd guessed by his blind visage and the fact the one working one was waving around pretty actively that it was sorta how he saw, and likely had to do with other senses too.

Ling growled softly as she mentions his antenna, confirming that he did not want her to touch it. His antenna were very sensitive and he hated anyone touching them. He would take care of it on his own later. By the time she had finished patching up his more major injuries Ling was already starting to get feeling and response back in his limbs. Not bothering to wait for her to tell him it was okay to move he pulled himself into a sitting position and 'stared' at her silently while his head throbbed dizzily from the exertion, but he was too proud to let himself slide back to the ground. Besides, he had to get back to camp and he wasn't about to have someone carry, or try to carry, him back.

She nodded, figuring he wouldn't want that, and right about the time she figured the rest of it was minor enough to wait til they got back, he sat up and she backed up. "Ooh, be careful, you'll get dizzy if you get up too quick, with all your blood loss." Nonetheless there wasn't much more she could do and so she started packing up her things. "I would offer you some help getting back, but you'd probably growl at me for suggesting that too, hm?" She rolls her eyes a bit. Fighters, always thinking they were invincible.

After a few moments the dizziness faded somewhat and seemed to ignore the healers words and moved straight to a standing position before she had finished speaking. Using his staff as a cane he felt that his father-darkness was with him. Though this made him think about his loss and though he knew his father-darkess's love would not be revoked, he had failed him. He felt a wave of dizziness and at the same time his staff slipped against the stone. His wings flared out but he still fell back to the ground. He 'glanced' at the centaur healer briefly before trying to rise back to his feet again.

She sighed as he got to his feet, as she put the rest of her equipment away. Then she heard the staff slip, and she got to her feet quickly. Torn between his pride and her healer's instincts, however, she was too slow to catch him and he went back down. She sighed even more audibly this time. "Can you please put aside your pride long enough to let me help you back? My pride doesn't want you falling and cracking your head more on the way back, and then I would be the one feeling guilty, Ling." She won't touch him to help but she'll sidle up near him so if he did feel like he'd give in to the help, he could steady himself on her sturdy backside.

Ling had already gotten himself back into a sitting position by the time she got to his side. He turned his blind face to 'look' over at her as she stood there. He didn't want her help, just like he want to fail his father-darkness but it seemed that both came no matter what he wanted. So between lying on the battlefield or getting back to camp he accepted her support and leaned against her as he rose to his feet once again.

(Lol sometime we gotta suck in that pride, Ling. XD) She didn't smile, or nod, or say anything, but was silent as he finally chose to accept her help. She will let him lean on her all the way to camp, or at least as long as he feels he needs it, but will make sure he gets back safely regardless, and into a cot to rest.
