Part of him was trying to decide if he’d ever noticed anyone running his or her eyes over him the way she had before. Like she could actually –touch- him with the weight of her gaze and, decided that no, no he’d never at least noticed such a thing.

He arched his eyebrows and gave a half smile at her confidence and forward nature. It was probably another joke though.

“I don’t know… looks like your partner in crime hasn’t had much sleep.” He cast an amused stare at Ever and added “"Koe kihai i kite i te mutunga o tenei, engari e mohio ana pea koutou e rāpiti tamaiti” with a charming smile.

“Save the ear piece… maybe if either of you are ever SERIOUS the other can enjoy being on the listening end some time.” He gave a mock salute and pivoted on his heel starting to turn back towards where he’d come from.

The answering laugh to her flirtations was deeply mirthful. It was definitely a good way to deal with the fact he was being RUDE enough to keep talking in a language he could be fairly certain no one on the island save Aro understood.

“Good Night Ghost girl and Bunny Boy!” He called back over his shoulder with a flash of a grin.

"Naaaaahh.." Cee shut the door, yawned, picked up a pillow and threw it into Ever's face. "Coulda gone worse. I thought it went ******** fantastic. Now.. git some sleep. You do look like ya need it."

The headset parts were tossed in the bin and she got into the tiny dorm bed too. Thankfully she took up about as much space as a large cat and wasn't at all interested in spooning.
