As she started out to begin another search, Rennati approached her with a greeting and an offer to look at the gift she'd just received. Larisa paused to do just that, leaning over to get a look at the brightly colored kitten socks. "Oh, Terry gave you those? That's really cute!" It was also, she thought, a little weird, but it had been a nice gesture and her room-mate certainly seemed cheered up by it. "Maybe they'll bring you good luck!" She seemed to be finding a lot of wood now that she had them, anyway!

"That's right, anything's possible with the power of twins! Thanks, Tug. Let us know if anything goes wrong." Always one to accept free presents, Hwan snatched that voucher right up and tucked it away in his jacket. Colors to tell them apart, eh? Looked like it was time to take up the art of quick change to tease ol' Tuggle a little. He really was grateful for the gift but couldn't help his mischievous nature.
"Hey, Yesen, wait up for us! 's more fun collecting together." He knew this for a fact because he had a built in best friend and any time he was alone he was so incredibly bored. Since he didn't see the sarcastic Amalia around, he figured Yesenia wouldn't mind the company. Especially if it were two similarly loud and vigorous twins. He started to gather up a decent amount of wood in his arms and wondered aloud to the others.
"That guy's always hanging around there, right? I've never seen him leave... what if he's building a house instead of a garden?"

Qixel The power of teamwork has given Yesenia the extra power she needs to fix the cart!! Yesenia may now roll 3d20 (this voids her other rolls, and she cannot roll the 3d20 + her buffed roll, only the 3d20). Yamashii Hwan-jae may now roll 1d10 in addition to his 1d20! Doutei Jeong-jae may now roll 1d10 in addition to his 1d20!

Terry was blatantly eavesdropping on the conversation going on between Axel and Shakuntala. He brightened immensely at the talk of paint - what a fantastic idea, and it was something he hadn't even thought of!! "I like the way you think, trainee!! What a great idea!! Both of you are so inventive and it's so nice to watch friendships blossom, like this garden surely will!! Here. I want you to have these," Terry dug around in the big satchel he wore before withdrawing two brightly colored pairs of socks. Axel's socks were blindingly neon pink with little green beads and grotesque looking yellow kittens knit into the pink. Tala's socks were a deep forest green, which changed abruptly halfway through to a drab orange. It was probably pretty obvious that he'd run out of yarn halfway through. The socks had what appeared to be red cats knit into them. "That was the first pair I ever knit," Terry trembled wistfully as he gave Shakuntala the pair of socks. "These were the second." Terry lifted up the hem of his pants to reveal rainbow socks with white kitten-like blobs. "Stay positive, trainees! Once we get all this wood, we'll be able to build the fence, and then we can paint it!! troll toll Axel may now roll 1d10 in addition to his 1d20 starting on 8/1! NaomiNaomi Shakuntala may now roll 1d10 in addition to her 1d20 starting on 8/1!

Shakuntala didn't know what to make of her peculiar gift. She took the pair of handmade socks from the man gratefully and hid the awkwardness of the situation behind a crooked smile.
"T-thank you, sir..." she told the man, turning the feet coverings cover in her hand. Welp, green was her favorite color, but the orange and red felines sure were a clashing addition to her pair. Glancing at Axel's, she realized his too were a little on the creative side.
"I'll... I-I'll work as hard, s-sir," she added as well before separating herself from the male pair and heading off to gather some more wood.

Realizing four logs weren't enough to satisfy her, she headed back into the forest to collect a bit more of wood to haul back to the pile. With a pant she gathered up six more logs and staggered back.

Axel stared at the socks in his hands. He wasn't one to turn his nose up at a new pair of socks, but neon pink was a little much. The green beads and horrible yellow kittens didn't help. Tala's socks didn't seem much better, though at least they weren't pink.
"Thank you," Axel said to Terry Tuggle, holding his pink socks and wondering how to get rid of them. It went against Axel's nature to just throw away a brand new pair of socks when someone might get some use out of them. Maybe he could mail them home to his sister. Or ... to Alec's little sister! Little girls liked pink and kittens, right? Sure. She would love them. Relieved at his solution to the problem of the pink socks, Axel balled them up and stuffed them in his pocket before getting back to work. Tala had already scampered off to collect wood, so he was once again on his lonesome.
More wood, then. Repeating his strategy of picking out only the best pieces, Axel returned with a decent little heap. He set it down next to the rest. Seeing as he hadn't gotten any splinters this time, Axel decided to go collect some more.

Another armful of wood, this one smaller than the first. Axel was getting kind of tired. Maybe it was just the heat getting to him. He swiped a hand across his forehead. That idea about the paint seemed like fun at the time, but he was starting to wonder if Terry Tuggle would have them painting neon pink kittens on everything.

"There you go! Had one of these back at the farm!" It'd only been a short time when he'd helped out at that farm back home but Jeong remembered some of the things he'd learned. Pleased to have helped Yesenia fix the cart, he realized what had been bothering him and gave her an amused look while asking about the friend she normally had with her.
"Where's No? Is the Yes&No comedy duo on break?" It was a silly question but he wasn't feeling especially serious right now anyway. Continuing to gather wood alongside his brother and Yesenia, he enjoyed having a little extra company.

Realizing he should try to work a little harder to not get completely overshadowed by the girl with the cart, Jeong-jae tried to scurry to keep up. Keeping his eyes focused on the area, he continued the conversation but also actually did his freaking job.

"Ha, gimme a ride!" Jumping in the cart, the twins climbed around the surrounding landscape while pestering Yesenia. She was good spirited enough not to outright refuse their help and thus it was only natural they try to get some sort of favor back, right? Asking for a joyride wasn't exactly a true favor but more of a whim but that didn't stop him. Both twins threw some wood into the cart and then climbed in, jokingly telling her to pick up the pace. There was no way she could actually pull all this weight by herself but it would be impressive if she could! Wait, could she?

"Whoa, almost lost one! Board overboard!" One of the pieces began to slip over the edge of the cart and Hwan had to dive to make sure it didn't fall and snap under the wheel. Jeong-jae assisted by moving to grab his waist and soon they were pantomiming a wild and treacherous sea journey.

Yesenia blinked, confused. "'No'? Oh, you mean Malia! Nah, she's out doin' courier work." Thanking the twins for their help, Yesenia piled a ton of wood into the cart before the aforementioned scoundrels put their wood as well as themselves in after. Seeing it as a challenge that had to be accepted, Yesenia laughed. "Alright, let's do this!" Yesenia gripped the twin handles (no pun intended) with all the force she could muster, and lifted the back of the cart off the ground. She began to push the cart forward, slowly at first, but eventually momentum picked up and the three gained speed. Soon enough, the girl was having to run to keep up with the cart. Her palms were sweaty, and her muscles were starting to get sore, but nevertheless, they made it back to Tuggle in one piece. Slowing down as she reached the destination, Yesenia put the cart down before falling backwards onto her butt. Breathing heavily, she grinned. "That... was... fun, but... let's... not do... that... again...!" She let out a ragged laugh as she stretched her arms, still on the ground, before falling back to lie down entirely. Rennati looked back at Larisa, "Maybe they will! They're kind of odd but sweet in a way. Terry seems like a pretty nice guy!" Keeping on looking for some wood, she couldn't help but notice the two twins and one girl darting towards Terry in a cart! Oh that would be helpful! She wondered if there were anymore to make their jobs easier.
