"What if I want to discover them on my own?" She wasn't sure if she did.Oh, she wanted to explore the wonders, but she didn't care if she was alone or not. She doubted, however, that she'd want to spend too much time with him.

She assumed he meant the ship, though she didn't say as much. She eyed the ship as something occurred to her. "What do you do when you want to go deep under water?"

A tension in him, a stillness.
The lass was after his ship! She was looking for weaknesses, for moments he left her unattended.
"Who would need to go deeper, when one has the deep shadow of the beauty above me?" he asked, a bit sharply.
There was no way this filly was getting his ship. No sea-kelping way.
