GG listened to his brother give excuses. He did perk up at one thing though.
"So... you were becoming a bodyguard for their venture today?" he asked, mostly to himself. There was a pause, as he seemed to ponder over this a moment before he grinned. "Twas a brilliant turn of events, brother. I would have done the same if given the opportunity." he nodded, patting the white stallion on the back.DJ beamed as his mother and sister joined in. He was worried that little Rose was going to be stuck at home with Rarity while the rest went off to play. He guessed that his father had something to do about getting Rarity to put off her big order long enough for the whole family to go on an adventure together. Though he was only slightly upset that Red had gone ahead of them.
DJ let go of his father's hand and took Sapphire Rose's. "C'mon, sis..." he chuckled, lifting her up and onto his shoulders. "Let's go get Red, okay?" he then added in a half whisper, winking up at the toddler as if to instigate a game of sorts. Bert shook his head and chuckled. "I always choose what we do first. Today, you decide." he offered. Yes. He was excited. And yes! He wanted to do all the things, but today he figured that his date should have first pick at today's line of events.

She had almost reached the apathetic male when a green angel popped into view. He wasn't alone after all. She flashed the smallest of smiles before walking past them without pause to the stall behind them. "I'll take one of your candy apples please." Guardians was she embarrassed! How silly of her to stick her neck out when she wasn't feeling one hundred percent. Perhaps she'd have the nerve one on one, but surrounded by other pae...
She just wanted to curl up in a corner with a box of chocolates."Oh. Sudden sweet tooth Day?" The night fae spoke softly, her golden eyes flicking briefly on the faunies and the green angel before taking a spot beside her sibling. "Tristen may want one as well if we are planning on saying hello to him.""He's adorable though." The purple demonic looked uncomfortable. Maybe some compliments would loosen him up! Everyone liked compliments. "Must get his cuteness from his father. Especially your beautiful eyes." That should do it. Just one last thing as the icing on the cake. Speaking of cake though, where was Adora from that cake game? "My name is Tristen. What entrancing name would you possess?" A little thick for even the Fae of Love, but it had been a while since had flirted. He was a little rusty.Fea Line Oh Gods. No Tristen! NUUUUU! Wait. Waaaaaait. Wait wait waitwaitwait. Beautiful....Eyes.... Nonononononononononononooonononoonoo. No not again, nono. "I...ah....uh.....t-t-thank you?" he tilted his head, gulping hard, hoping he had heard that wrong. Entrancing name? Maybe this guy just....had a fancy way of speaking? Yeah..yeah that had to be it! "I...oh, My names Kylieam......aand this is Lyneeson..." he said again, nervously grinning yet taking a step backwards to put more space between him and the red guy.Pleased by his brother's understanding, Chevy nodded and reached out to give his brother a very proper hug. "I am glad you understood, but I am sorry our original plans did not come to fruition. If you'd like, perhaps we could patrol here instead. I'm sure even carnival goers need protection." he mused, tilting his head and looking at his brother seriously but curiously.Red blinked and glanced down as he felt something poke his leg. Bending down to lift back the brim of the large hat, he stroked his chin in contemplation. "Hmmm, whose me? I can't tell beneath that large beautiful hat and glamorous sunglasses!" he teased, gently pulling them away from her nose before gasping. "Sapphire Rose! What are you doing hiding under there!" he grinned teasingly. "I didn't recognize you, you were far too fabulous!" he smiled, gently placing her large sunglasses back on before DJ lifted her up to his shoulders. He then blinked and took a playful step back. "Wait....what do you mean get me..." Rarity smiled, watching her little ones enjoy themselves, and especially over the fact that Sapphire had on a matching outfit to hers. Giggling to herself, she made a mental note to make the little filly some proper fitting clothing....and internally squeed at the thought of all the cuteness she could make! But with the kids doing their own thing...maybe she could sneak some time alone with the handsome red stallion of hers. "Why don't you three run along and play some games, we'll just be here.....doing parent things...." she said, turning and casting Big Mac a 'grin'. Tilting his head to the side, Hyd put a finger to his lips and tapped gently as he perused all the stands. The overwhelming scent of food kept drawing his attention...and his stomach may have growled just a tiny bit. Blushing, he turned to Ber. "I think food first then games! In all my excitement, I fed the flowers but not myself before coming." he grinned, bashfully laughing as he rested his head and long flowy locks on the bright green Pegasus's shoulders.

Zeke peeked around his dad's leg he was in such a position that if his dad were to back up much further he was likely to trip over him. "Papa scare?" He questions his father and at the same time he eyed his brother wondering what mischief they could cause... cause mischief was fun... and he often got into it pulling his brother along with him

Who is me? How could her big brother not recognize her?! Oh, she thought with a pout, she'd show him! Plotting her revenge, things suddenly got clearer as her sunglasses were moved. Blinking a time or too her ears perked up, lifting the sides of the hat a little in the processes. Channeling the most fabulous and glamorous mare she knew, Sapphire fluffed the hat and told her brother, " 'Course I am, I am fabulous, darling!" Giving her proudest smile, the filly beamed at her attempt to mimic her mother.
The moment her hand was taken she looked to her other brother. Squealing with delight, she was careful to keep her hat on her head as she was lifted to the best seat in the whole carnival.
Pulling her best evil grin, DJ's suggestion was embraced wholeheartedly. To Red she put her little finger to her lips and said, "Shh, isa secret." Then she lowered her own head to whisper in DJ's ear, sharing her hat in the process. "Yess, lets get him!" Wiggling her feet in excitement, she looked back up. In the most threatening gesture in the child's world, she made the tickle monster hands opening and closing her little hands and making a 'rawr sound'.
Normally the idea of separating for even a little time from her Mother was extremely distressing. It was easier with her beloved brothers, even more so because she was having too much fun to notice properly.

Chini blinked rapidly at the other child. Did she have shinies? She pulled off a small satchel that looked beyond worn, but at least could hold its contents still. She pulled open the flap and held out a red crystal piece for the other girl to see as well as a runestone, that Chini thought was just a weird block thing. “Thas all I has right now.” she shrugged slightly, but was very proud of the finds. She had some seashells and beach objects in the bag from the diggings on the beach, but didn't think they compared to this find.
“You?” she asked, suddenly curious about the one sitting in front of her. Did she have cool things too? She couldn't believe she found someone that did the same thing as her! What fun they could have playing this game together! She nodded furiously at the other girls offer, “More more!” she cheered. Mama Blues bounced Sonata on her hip as the two weaved their way through the carnival. She was looking for her man as well as her other child, not too sure where the two had disappeared to. Had she been the one to lose them or had they run off on their own? From all the comotion going on at the carnival she couldn't be sure what had happened.
They had been together at the beach, but as soon as the digging had started they were gone. She then had seen them again at the fish game- which Sona was still squealing about, but after that she had lost them again. Mama Blues made a face at the thought, and this was suppose to be a family outing! So much for that.
“We still got time don't we, sweet 'un?” she said looking at her little yellow star. Sona blinked up at her, not sure what she was asking, before going back to staring at her fish. Mama Blues chuckled at the small one before continuing her journey around the carnival.Seruta Just in case you wanted some family time XD Tartara Seabreeze If you wanted to interact with her here  Briosca was floating on air after her cake walk. She couldn't believe how much people had been enjoying not only the game, but her sweets as well! She had always enjoyed them and knew those closest to her did, but she never dreamed that they'd be that big of a hit!
They had been such a hit that they had began to disappear right under her nose. It still peeved her, but secretly made her giddy inside. They were good enough to steal! Who knew!? She couldn't wait to tell Feral about how it went. Speaking of which... where was he?
Bree felt terrible leaving him with all four kids, but he, like the gentleman he was, had insisted it would be alright and that she go enjoy herself. Thinking back on it and his kindness gave her a bit of a butterfly stomach. She was continuously overwhelmed by him and his sweet heart.
She took her time walking through the carnival. She wanted to take it all in while giving her plenty of time to look through the crowd for her family. Family. So much had happened in so little time, things that she never dreamed would happen to her, but she wouldn't change it for anything.

Ahi was very disappointed the treasure hunt was over, after all it was what he lived for. But now, with Zaba in tow he went off in search of the 'bouncey fae with blue hair named Prisma' he didn't know if he wanted to find her for sure or not... He wanted to keep his treasure, what if she wanted to take it from him too?!? Oh well the other pae acted like it was special treasure... maybe he could get more!.
Ahi spent all of five minutes looking around for Prisma before he just stood in the center of the most crowded area of the carnival he could find, coin warming one hand, little green pae holding his other. And started to shout "BOUNCEY PRISMA FAE WHERE BE YOU?!? AHI LOOK FOR YOUS!"
He waited less then a minute and shouted it again, and would keep shouting until he found her

While still messing with the Purple spotty Rak's ears, Prisma suddenly heard something strange, causing her own ears to twitch just a bit. Blinking, she turned around and around and around and around, listening to a voice that seemed to be calling her name. "Meee?!" she cooed loudly, fluttering into the air to try to get a better view. She finally spotted someone in the middle of the carnival, a mister reddy red red with finny fins for ears and a little green babe in toe. Laughing, she zoomed over to him, landing with a bounce. "Hi hi extremely! I am bouncy Prisma fae indeedydoo!! Do you two wanna play a gamey game?" she asked excitedly, leaning closer and peering at him with wide round blue eyes, bouncing in place so that her blue pigtails bobbed up and down. She also made several goofy faces at the little baby as well.

His words were cut off by a new pae coming to a stop directly in front of him, so this was a bouncy fae? Ahi wasn't sure but she said she was in fact bouncy Prisma fae. Ahi wasnt used to quite this much energy coming from a pae and his eyes went a little crossed when she leaned into him "gamey game? Ahi finds treasure!" he put the coin clutching hand against his chest, she didn't mean for his treasure did she?Zaba saw the silly pae making faces to him and he started to giggle. His free hand reaching towards her "Playyyy" he repeated to her in a childishly excited manner. His daddy's idea of playing was finding treasure and this was all Zaba really knew how to play.

The little ones giggling only made Prisma giggle even more, at least until she heard the word Treasure. Prisma stopped her silly faces and bouncing to look over the redy red fin dude. Her head tilted slightly, tongue sticking out as she had paused mid silly face. "Treasure?" she blinked, peering back at the red guy....did he call himself Ahi? "Ahi find treasure extremely? Prisma loves treasure! Can Prisma see?" she beamed, leaning closer to inspect his hand, almost like a sniffing dog. Her mind filled with all sorts of ideas of what it could be. What if it as something awesome for hair! She would have to find one!
Oh wait, this dude was baldy bald bald extremely....

He nods a bunch of times she she confirms that he found treasure. But then she wants to see too! All the many whatifs were going through the naiad's head most having to do with her wanting to keep his treasure, but then he'd never know if she knew where more was if he didn't show her his treasure... He was stuck on this one so he just firmly added "Okays... no taksies!" as she sniffed at his hand against his chest.. Her hair was beginning to tickle his face with her face being right up against his hand sniffing it. He slowly turned his hand slightly leaning back a bit so he could see his own hand as he uncurled his fingers from around the coin.
Aww the bouncy lady stopped making faces at him. He pulled his hand free of his daddy's and moved closer to her till his hand came to rest palm flat against her leg.

Prisma smiled, folding her hands behind her back in promise not to take his treasure. "Oh I wouldn't extremely! Finders keepers!" she beamed, leaning back a bit as he opened his hand. She peered down at the little one a moment and rested her hand on his head when she felt the little palm on her leg. But the shiny of the coin in Ahi's hands snapped her attention back on it. "Oh my goodness gumdrops!! You have a kitty kitty coin extremely!!" she near about shouted in happiness, clapping her hands madly since she couldn't dance in place with a little hand on her leg. "Oh how exciting extremely, Kitty kitties are the besty best best ever!" she squealed, wiggling in place and cooing. "They play the best tea parties!"

Rainbow Sherbet grinned and turned towards one of the food kiosks. There was a wide array of goodies from fruits, exotic juices and candies... Bert almost couldn't make up his mind. He chuckled and shrugged.
"What say you to sharing a fruit bowl aaaand a juice blend of your choice?" he asked, tilting his head towards his companion. "Unless you had something else in mind for us to snack on?"GG beamed brightly at the idea offered. "What a brilliant idea, Chevy."
He turned his gaze to the masses around them and blinked. "Where do you propose we start?" he asked a little less excited in tone than he had been previously. There was just so many Pae here today. Would two young stallions be able to protect all of them without fail?
There was a moment of hesitation before his figure and gaze turned stern. Whether they could effectively succeed or not, he was not about to give up an opportunity to try and prove himself. If they did manage to make it through the night, it would be good news to bring home to their parents. Maybe, if things went well through the evening, their father would allow them the opportunity to speak to Rais about maybe - finally - joining the guards about the tree! DJ snickered and stuck his tongue out at 'lil Red. At least 'lil Rose caught on and was playing along! He giggled and took a step closer to Red, snickering at Rose made tickle fingers in his direction.
He caught his mother's words behind them somewhere and silently acknowledged them in the back of his mind... somewhere... He was having too much fun in the moment to try and deter the current game from it's path.
"Get'im, Rose!!" he laughed and leaned further forward - all the while being mindful to hold on tight to Rose's ankles to keep her from falling off.Big Mac chuckled a hearty laugh at the kids and shook his head. His chest swelled with pride at how well the three were turning out. All of them played well together. And he held no worries on leaving them alone from time to time. He knew they knew wrong from right and did well to keep each other in line.
His ears perked to a certain white beauty beside him and he grinned even more. 'Parent Things?' That sounded far more promiscuous than he had intended to entertain in today's fun and games. Not that he'd turn anything like that down, but he wasn't exactly a over-imposing PDA kinda fellow...
He shook his head free of impure thoughts and chuckled, blushing slightly. "Eeeh-yup!" he responded, patting her hand softly.  Granny Smith strolled into the other end of the carnival grounds and bounced in place a moment. She used to love fairs and carnivals for as long as she could remember. And by now she had put some years behind her, too! Not that she looked like it anymore!
She wiggled with excitement some more and giggled, lunging for the first tent she saw. She wanted to experience all she could until she was able to find her family again. After all, they'd do just fine without her a little longer. She needed to use what the Island Magic gifted her!!

The promise not to take his coin reassured Ahi, he was glad this bouncey fae understood this. He all but ignored Zaba trying to get this girl's attention focussing on the treasure and what she had to say about it. Kitty kitty? what was that..... Tea party?... uhhhh Ahi had a perplexed look on his face as Prisma excitedly informed him that it was the besty best best ever. He waited till she finished her words and then stared at her hard and looked back at his coin and again to her "What be a kitty kitty? What is tea party?" he questioned her never having heard either of these terms before.
Zaba plopped on his butt he was NOT getting enough attention and this just HAD to end. He started sniffling, then whining, and then he started to cry... Hey it worked with Ahi a lot of the time... it had to work with this pae too.

Harmony giggled and clutched her prizes tight. She had a fish-in-a-bag in one hand and a 'Magic Runestone' in the other. She babbled in baby-nese to herself as her Daddy carried her through the fairgrounds. She had her hands full and was content with just staring and playing with them for the moment.
That was, until she heard her mother's voice.
"Mommy! 'Ona!!" she nearly giggle-squealed. "Looky look! Fishy Wock!" Xanthous chuckled and shook his head. Simple things, he guessed. Heavens knew all the girls needed back home was a bowl or two and all the games commenced!
"Hey, sweetheart." he offered with a sigh as they approached Fortissimo and Sonata from behind. "Sorry about that, had to go back and see what was in that chest she dug up at the beach." He chuckled and tilted his head towards the runestone that Harmony was trying to flail in their faces."Issa Wock!!" she giggled.
