No.I "The Superior of the In-Between" ╔══════════════╗ As the two children would cower and think of a way to get away from the monsters that had chased them another individual would instead be walking towards the group of said monsters. This individual would be covered fro head to toe in a black and white coat with a hood covering the man's face, but letting his grey hair flow out from the hood. The beasts would notice the man and hiss at at him at first, but they would soon realize that this man was different than the children. Something about him was very different....and dangerous. They had every right to be scared for not a second later a flash of red shot from the man's hands as he both killed and scared off the beasts. These were nothing to the man. Play things. Toys at most. ╚══════════════╝

Inside the tower the man could sense a power that was not of this world, A song that would tempt those with weaker minds to approach it. Behind the black cloaked man a large bird dropped from the sky talons were out going straight for the back of his neck, This bird was unlike the others, larger, and it held a small portion of that power that was in the tower.

No.I "The Superior of the In-Between" ╔══════════════╗ As the man dealt with the monsters he found himself looking up at the tower that the children were now hiding in. He felt something coming from it. Power. Great power that he could not identify. Under his hood the man couldn't help but smile as if he found what he was looking for. When a bird suddenly appeared behind him a beam of red energy shot from the sleeve of the man as he spun around and stopped the claws from reaching their target. As if the beam was a solid object. He looked up at the bird before smirking from under his hood. His eyes of glowing gold beamed at the creature like telling it that it had made a huge mistake. ╚══════════════╝

That same bird let out a loud screech, and shook off the little pain it could feel from the rock that nearly got to it's wing, clipping the body instead. it spun around going to make a second trip round after the man, but this time as it got close it seemingly disappeared, a scratch gave it's position away as it came from his side and giving a good hard flap of it's wings pushing the bird back and lashing out with several razor sharp feathers shot out like darts at him, holding it's distance as it started reading his skills

  "...There's got to be a staircase..What kind of building doesn't have one? " Then again, did she REALLY want to climb a thousand steps to get to the top? Not..exactly. She wouldn't last that long, even in her animal forms.The strange thing was, while she was here she could not take the form of the little blue canary she tended to use when she needed to get away. It was as though something within this place was blocking that ability, though how, she couldn't figure out. "I don't know...It's so high up.." She said softly, sighing as she slowly turned to look toward the door. There was another presence outside, a presence she was unaware of, but certain it was not of those monsters from earlier. For now, she decided to keep it quiet, if it was an enemy, there was no reason to startle Fate more then he clearly already was.

Fate started to hum quietly to the song now, it seamed to help clear his mind. While aiko was thinking fate walked over to the fountain and ran his fingers through the water, it was kinda sticky, and gooey. he shook his head knowing what he saw was water but it felt... different, he chose not to tell aiko, and wiped his hand clean on his shirt. leaning against a design his pressed a strange button and a glowing glyph appeared on the ground glowing a faint blue, it was very cold. and it called fate close to he went to the middle, the cold air felt nice, especially after all there running and hiding around here. "Kiko." said with a bit of a playful tone. "over here." fate said squatting down looking at the strange symbol humming along with the song.

"??" Aiko turned to him, slowly begining to walk to the strange symbol Fate was now sitting next to. Her first thoughts were, it seemed a little strange and suspicious, but didn't seem to be doing any harm. The glowing blue was rather pretty to look at, even. "..What is it? " As though he would know. She sure was clueless, never in her life had she seen such a thing. "The air around it feels so cold..." Sitting down next to her friend, she too began to look at it, if only to try and register just what the thing was. "I think it's emitting ice magic..." The blue glow, the cold...she summed it up as something to do with magic, though hopefully it was not a threat to them. "...What I really want to do is shut that annoying music off. It's so repetitive! "

Fate looked to aiko He didn't really care for much of an explanation he just knew it was what it was. "It... cold." he said kinda liking the change. the colder it got the more room it would take up. but fate couldn't help but hum the song, "but... no music.... there just monsters noise." he said thinking the song, some strange message etched into his head from the song.
The symbol on the ground rapidly expanded filling the room it glew bright and cold enough to see there breath with ease, in the blink of the eye they were both moved to the top of the tower, cold, so very very cold, ice lined the walls of this new room, the middle were 3 orbs chasing each other one blue, one red and one green. The song was coming from those odd orbs, much louder up here, on the far back wall there sat 3 crates the tops knocked off. in all the room had 3 immense sources of power, and six from the boxes

No.I "The Superior of the In-Between" ╔══════════════╗ The man seemed to keep his smile under his hood as he watched the bird vanish. When the bird suddenly appeared besides him the man raised his arms making multiple red orbs appear above him. when they bird then attacked him with his feathers the man shot out red beams of energy to counter the feathers. He quickly glanced back at the tower when he felt magic swell which made the man frown. He had no more time to spend on the bird. He then stopped the orbs as he sunk back in to a black oval-shaped portal that was filled with darkness. This portal would teleport him to the top of the building along with the kids. He floated above them while looking down at them, but was more focused on what the orbs were seeing as the voices seemed to come from them. ╚══════════════╝

That was when suddenly, another figure appeared,but above the two children. Now she was not one to judge a person by looks, but this particular man from what she could tell, seemed pretty darkly. Was he the source of this? "Who are you??" Was all she could ask, there wasn't much to lose at this point.

No.I "The Superior of the In-Between" ╔══════════════╗ Had the man finally found what he was looking for? The source of the power that had been calling to him? He really hoped it was because the bird from earlier was a pain. He then focused on the children again as one of them asked who he was. He floated down and landed in front of them. He then turned his head to look at them, "I'm here to help." He stated simply before looking at the three orbs.While it wasn't a lie it was more of him helping himself more than the children. Maybe they would be of use to him. ╚══════════════╝

Fate knelt down towards the ground as his eyes were blinded from the light, everything was different, and the song... much clearer, but his mind was between that song and trying to keep himself and Aiko safe, but the song was more on his mind now. looking around the room fate didn't know what to think, the orbs bounced around the room playfully chasing one another and he was mesmerised by them, at least till some stranger landed in front of the two of them allowing him to shake his mind free for a moment at least. realising he wasn't in the same place his mind let him think he looked to aiko once more. "K-kiko?" he asked sounding more like a lost puppy then normal, most all of his senses were playing tricks on him now.
Fate looked to the strange man, his snow white hair, made him think for a moment, but that's all he could see, hoping it was what he thought fate relaxed a little more, "No more music?" Fate asked hoping for it to end just because he asked kindly, but no the green orb was the one doing it, trying to play tricks on the minds of those who came into this destroyed town.

Aiko didn't seem to take her eyes off the man for the longest moment, it was as though she were trying to sense his presence through her own abilities, though something was different about him. She couldn't detect his presence, which meant she couldn't sense if he was truly good, or evil. He said he was here to help, and right now, everything was just hard to believe. "....O-okay.." She said quietly, unsure about him though trying to put some trust toward him for the moment.There was...more to worry about right now then the mysterious man. Those orbs and the power coming from them was much more alarming. One of them, particularly the green orb seemed to be the source of most of the strange things going on here.
"What is it..? Who's doing this? " As though he had the answers, the silver-haired man seemed just as confused as she and Fate were.
((ooc: Lol. Just got done watching The Conjuring...I should sleep great tonight! ))

Fate looked to the one he assumed was someone else. "You make music stop?" he asked him hoping he'd know how, or at least make it quiet down again, it was slowly taking over his mind, and he wanted to keep his thoughts his own, and now he wasn't sure what was real and what wasn't any more.

No.I "The Superior of the In-Between" ╔══════════════╗ The man nodded to both the children as they asked if he would help them. He then turned back to the orbs and eyed the green one. Everything seemed to originate from that. Black energy swirled around his left hand while white energy swirled around his right hand. If this was as powerful as he thought he would need to use powerful magic as well. He flung his hands out creating an invisible barrier around the top of the building keeping them all inside the dome-like barrier. He then flung his arms out yet again sending out his Twilight Thorn's sending them shooting, curving, and snapping through the air at the green orb. ╚══════════════╝
