The sigel arrived to the party from the chauffeured comfort of a local bus. Despite his moaning and groaning to the higher ups, Josh still had to work today. That left LuLu with two options: to either go stag or miss the party. The latter was hardly an option in her mind, and the girl had no issue with navigating the wilds of public transit in order to make it here today.
She floated onto the scene ready for some fun and sun. Her tribal patterned suit was veiled by a sheer black top and a few necklaces rattled noisily around her neck. A pair of large framed sunglasses sat atop the bridge of her nose and shielded her eyes from the noon glare. LuLu twisted the end of one long braid between her fingers as she scanned the party for any familiar faces. It was a bit of an annoyance to her that the majority of people in attendance were unfamiliar. She had hoped this event would give her a chance to catch up with old friends rather than force her to make new acquaintances.
The rabbit pursed her lips softly as she floated around the perimeter of the festivities. She drew closer but was still not ready to take the plunge just yet. The fidgeting of her hand quickened to a tick like she was counting the seconds. Waiting, but for what?

[ Thanatos/Domevlo (and their Huskies, Atreyu [m] & Pantera [f] --> Arriving --> Walking up the Beach Front (Winona) ]
She would get no such luck finding said niche, a black & white Huskie would wander his way to the woman sniffing at her ankles before looking up with crystal blue eyes. Happy at finding no threat Atreyu barked once sitting politely at her feet. His attention momentarily taken away at the call of his name along the beach. "Atreyu! Hey... " The silver haired man jogged up the beach side holding a beach ball and a beach umbrella with a bag on his back.
Along side him was a rather perturbed gray Raevan who was floating slightly behind him holding a beach ball in hand and a leash in the other. Covering his lower face was a white mask that was made of water resistant material much like a wetsuit; with it he wore a black dragon hoody (to which he poked a hole in it so his horn would fit). It's anyone's guess why but Xan had long since given up questioning his taste in cloths or his reasoning behind it. Another Huskie followed the two, this one brown and white with heterochromia eyes (one being blue the other brown). She seemed less inclined to free herself from her leash and walked quietly at their side.
Finally catching up to the mutt Thanatos bowed his head, and smiled as he tipped his cowboy hat in greeting. "I'm sorry is he bothering you?" He asked, giving the dog a stern look. Atreyu sniffed but moved away toward his companions side where the Reavan grabbed his leash with a shrug. "He hasn't been to the beach in a while and I guess seeing all these people got him excited." Setting his things down and out of the way of the party-goers he held out a hand. "Names Thanatos, Xan for short if it helps. Are you knew to these parts?" He hadn't seen her before but then again he was one of the more private of guardians.
Domvelo on the other hand was growing impatient. He hadn't wanted to come but now that he was here seemed to want to explore the beach a little more. With warnings that he ought not get near the water for fear of drowning he couldn't help wondering what it was like to be able to swim. His eyes kept scanning the beach to which he saw a few of his own already enjoying the element. He sighed forlornly wishing he could get in as well.
[ Domevlo --> Beach ( Ren & Tati ) ]
Xan heard the sigh and smiled knowingly. Taking the beach ball from him he gave the frei a light nudge. "You can go but don't get in the water. Take the mutts with you okay?" Domevlo looked up with a slight twinkle to his eyes. With a nod he tugged on the leashes and moved toward the beach where he saw Revontulet and another he hadn't met yet. She looked familiar he had seen her once in passing he was certain of that much.
Not wanting to interrupt the two, he reached down to unlock the leashes from Atreyu and Pantera both Huskies barked and took off like a shot but they were well trained. They knew to remain close and not to bother anyone. Happy to be free of them, Domo moved closer to the water but stayed at a safe distance, poking at the sand that would be at his feet if he had any. It felt different, nice and squishy. The sea breeze was nice too and he liked the cool water.
[ Winona -> Beach Front w/ Thanatos & (Briefly) Family ]
Winny cringed as the playful beast came running towards her but the tone in his bark quickly won her over. His polite attention was rewarded with two ruffling hands and gentle baby-soft cooing, "Hi, pup! What a sweet boy!" She coddled, touching her nose to his. Winny was very obviously a dog person.
An authoritative voice pulled her attention from the wiggling mutt, but only for a moment. "Atreyu." She hissed, letting her gooey eyes flutter between dog and master. "Is that your name? Like the brave boy in Neverending Story?" A rasping laugh escaped her as she stood, friendly smile at the ready. "Not at all, I love dogs." She called, fingers still buried in Atreyu's furry neck. Always watchful of her manners, Winny did her best to pretend she wasn't so interested in the Raevan, so close she could reach out and touch him. Her belly stung with concern. He didn't seem very excited. Suddenly feeling embarrassed, Winny dropped her eyes to Xan's hand. Her face felt hot as she dusted her palms on the front of her romper.
"Winny." She replied, gripping his hand with confidence. "Thanatos? Fancy." She joked, biting her tongue gently. " - I've been here a while, but apparently not long enough. I've never seen anything like... this on the beach before." She admitted, letting her eyes rest on Domevlo as he wandered off.
"I assume you're all like extended family, huh?" She added, hands perched firmly on her hips. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything... what's the occasion?"

"Ah, reporting. It'd definitely be nice to not be stuck in an office a lot. Though I do get out on repair calls. Do you both want to join L-" but his sentence was cut off with the arrival of a pretty red-haired girl. He waited as the spritely girl bounced over. "Uh, hi. I'm Justin. You guys look alike. Do you do flowers too?" This was not necessarily a normal leap in logic, but Justin was not exactly feeling 100%. The ocean spread out wide next to them, but he let his eyes roam over the people instead.
A wide smile graced his face as he caught sight of the green frei. "Hey, Cruz!" he called out. He turned back to the small group with a shrug. "I think I'm gonna head to the waterline for a bit. Might as well get to it before stuffing myself full of food." Justin chuckled and headed down, a wave of his hand indicating any of them were free to come along.
On the way, he passed Aaren & Claire, carting chairs to set up in the sand. Smart, he hadn't even brought a towel... "Hi, guys. Nice to see you here too! I'm about to head down for some, um, seashell action." He laughed and waved at them, motioning at Cruz. He hadn't spoken to the bouncy guy in a while. And they... they had a mission. And he needed updates.

Melanie nodded with a smile as Justin explained his profession. The two seemed rather interested in her profession, and she explained a bit more herself. "Yes, I'm a reporter and journalist. I mainly do reports on social gatherings, entertainment, and the like. Although lately I've really been trying to throw myself into breaking news, equal rights, and politics." she said, looking around to notice all the other people that were beginning to gather around.
Suddenly, a cute girl with icy blue eyes approached and introduced herself. "Hello! I'm Melanie. It's nice to meet you Caroline." she stated with a small wave, leaning upon her surfboard. As Justin waved his hand, Melanie decided that it would be nice to join in the fun on the beach. She had come for the water, after all. "I'm coming!" she said, pulling her board from it's place in the sand and scurrying towards him.
As she began her trek, Domevlo and a couple dogs caught her eye in the distance. With her curiosity peaked, she smiled and ran towards him, only to see Thanatos a distance from him talking to a woman. At first, her thoughts were rage. 'Okay...so...what is happening over there?' she thought to herself. It was then that a fake smile crept upon her face as she slowly made her way towards the two.
"Xan, hey!" she called with a wave of her free hand. "Didn't know you were attending the beach party." she stated as she approached. With a smile she looked down at the girl as she stuffed her board into the sand. With an outstretched hand, she said, "I'm Melanie, and you are?"

While the drive hadn’t been long and relatively smooth, Ethiriel was thankful when they slowed into a halt and eventually parked in the somewhat crowded parking lot. The first thing Henry did was tend to his companion, unbuckling and straightening her hair and tank top. Once they were to leave the car he would apply sun screen for the both of them, wanting to be careful over her well-being.
”I am fine, Sir Knight. Thank you,” Ethiriel said as she gently placed a hand over his on her shoulder. Her other hand found its way to her hair, daintily tucking it behind her ear. Her usual mess was pulled up into a messy bun with a large tuft falling through to her shoulder. She was donned in a sage green, spaghetti strapped top – tied just above where her ribbon started so that it wouldn’t get in the way. Ethiriel was already self-conscious about it, having never bared her shoulders in public, but she agreed to wear something light.
With knit brows and a worried smile, Henry stepped out of the car and circled to the passenger side, opening the door and helping the Frei float gracefully out into the sun. As planned, he immediately began rubbing sun screen on her shoulders, arms and carefully on her face. He had tried sunglasses but her branches made it difficult for them to stay on so it was decided against. Lastly, he pulled out a parasol; suggested by him, given by his mother. Henry opened it and placed it in Ethiriel’s hand.
Immediately she felt relieved now that the sun was not baring down on her.
With that, the nurse then continued to coat himself in sunblock after removing his tank top. His shorts were simple; red, knee length and tied at the waist by a draw string. His tanlines were obvious but he paid them no mind as he finished tending to Ethiriel and himself.

(( Anita – Parking Lot / Duncan, Mordekai, Damien, Drey, Ivy → Henry & Ethiriel ))
When another car pulled up, Anita gave it a quick peek. She didn't notice immediately, thanks to the glare of the sun, but once the doors opened and two familiar faces stepped out her face lit up.
Tango was still thoroughly enthralled in Misha, and hardly noticed as Anita gathered up his leash and leaned over to Mordekai to give him a quick tap on the arm with the back of her hand. ”Wanna take care of the Tangster?” With his hands a bit occupied, Anita took the liberty of putting the leash's loop around it for him once she was given the go ahead.
”I'll be right back, guys, some friends just got here and I'm gonna say hi,” she announced, offering polite smiles to Ivy and Drey in particular. As Anita turned her back, Damien called after, ”Say hi for me, too!” She shook her head and laughed – he didn't know either of them.
”Hey, sweet leaf,” Anita smiled to Ethiriel and offered a small touch to her arm, ”How you guys doing?”

When his friend finally caught eyes and came over, Cruz breathed a sigh of relief. His sentiment about the water was appreciated and the croc smiled, looking out toward the beach. He wanted very much to play and swim and have a good time, but they had to take care of business first.
Then Justin mentioned seashells and Cruz's attention dove back to the sands below. ”Need to get some,” he mentioned under his breath with surprising determination. He glanced back up to smile at Claire and Aaron, then returned his attention to Justin. A small nod toward the side was given before Cruz began to float toward the shoreline, intending for Justin to follow away from the couple.
Once they were a suitable distance away, he began. ”Nita's here. Mordekai and Damien, too.” He didn't know if Justin knew Damien. It didn't matter. ”Nothing happened yet. Don't know what to do different. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. Do you think anyone here wants to kiss 'Nita?” That always had to be the first bit of information. If someone didn't want to kiss Anita, then they would be pointless to pursue.

"No progress, huh?" He frowned and kicked some sand. His sandals were full of the stuff already, but if he took them off, he bet he'd step on something sharp, cut off a toe. The usual stuff. Instead he fiddled with his hands, turning his spinner ring round and round. "I saw her and I doubt anyone wouldn't wanna kiss her. She looks great." Justin sighed. Oh, he'd seen her. She looked comfortable and breezy and very Anita. And that slice of tummy... He sighed again. "I think what we really need to do is get Anita into thinking of these things as 'dates'. Like when she comes home from one, you can ask her how her date went. I think the word is important."
Honestly, Justin was pulling all of this out of his a**. But it sounded ok. "Just... keep setting things up. It takes a lot of time, Cruz." If the ocean didn't unnerve him so much, he would've stared penseively across it. Instead, he looked down at the ground and bent to poke in the sand. "What do you need seashells for?"
Xan gave Winny a firm hand shake before stuffing his hands in his board shorts pockets. His mint green eyes scanned the beach momentarily when Domo wandered off making sure the lead frei stayed clear of the water's depths. Returning his attetion to Winny he nodded at her inquiry. "Yeah it seems like the Lab has a lot of these big shindigs. I don't often make it to them since I'm usually busy. Heck, I didn't even know this thing was happening. The mutts needed some exercise and Domevlo has been cooped up in the house acting all emo on me so I thought taking them to the beach would be fun." He scanned the area smiling at all the antics taking place. "I don't think anyone will mind you being here. Everyone is always eager to meet new people, so go ahead and enjoy the food and antics."
With a smile he gave a light shrug not finding it at all an interruption that Winny had shown up. Checking on Domo once more provided a clear view of a familiar face as she came jogging up the beach front calling out to him. "Hey, How'ya doin'?" He smiled lazily as she approached. "Actually I didn't even know this thing was happening. I just wanted to hit the beach with the 'kids'..." He tilted his head toward the dogs and Domevlo smiling kindly. "It just so happens the Lab was occupying the area." He chuckled lightly then turned to Winny, "Oh yeah... Winny this is Melanie. Mel, Winny."
Justin's compliments toward his guardian caused Cruz to side eye him. The croc's brows remained raised as Justin continued to offer his opinion on the situation and, though at first he squinted, Cruz nodded at the sentiment. Distinguishing them as dates was important, he just hadn't been sure how to go about doing that without being suspicious.
He glanced at the sand to comb for shells again only to look back up. ” 'Cause,” he started, glancing toward her in the parking lot. Cruz stopped in his tracks. She wasn't next to Mordekai anymore. He couldn't see her with the group at all and Tango was still there. Before panic could fully set in, he looked a few cars down and caught a glimpse of Ethiriel. Cruz smiled and eased immediately, Anita was with her as well as Henry. ”She might like them.” he pointed toward the trio by Henry's car.
With Ethiriel here, now, he had to find some.

Melanie had an overwhelmingly confident aura about her and the fierceness in her eyes suggested she was quite the brazen personality. Her bright, albeit fake smile was met with a sheepish grin. Intuitive as ever, Winny gracefully assumed the role of 'non-threatening female'. She didn't extend her hand, opting instead for a gentle wave and a tilt of the head. Grateful for Xan's introduction, she busied her hands with the brim of her over-sized hat. "Nice to meet you." She chirped, toes disappearing into the sand.
"So, you must be a member of the Lab, too?" Winny's eyes bounced from Melanie to Xan. "You did say Lab... right?" She added, chuckling. She was totally out of her element and more than a little excited about her strange new company. Although she hated to admit it, her disposition begged she assume the role of 'third wheel'.
Desperate not to embarrass herself, she decided then and there not to ask too many questions.

”Greetings, Miss Anita,” Ethiriel said, bowing her head regally. She had heard and smelled Anita as she approached, already preparing for the elegant dip of her head as the woman spoke. ”It is lovely to hear you, again.”
Had Henry not been turned around applying sunscreen to his back, stretching his arms as much as he could just to reach, he would have greeted Anita much sooner. His usual goofy grin spread across his face as he turned around, stretching his shoulders from having his arms behind his back. ”Anita! Great to see you, again!” he said, approaching and offering an arm for a short hug. ”Glad you came, I was almost worried I’d have to meet new people,” he laughed. In all honesty, he was more than eager to meet more guardians and those to-be.
Ethiriel’s eyes drifted toward Henry, his silver necklace giving her a focal point. ”We are very much delighted to be here. How is Sir Cruz? I assume he is part of our company?”

The doors on the car had barely swung shut before two forms were seen bolting towards the surf, arms and legs pumping and a smaller individual following behind. "Remember to come out within the hour!" Maili hollered. "Human contact! People to meet! Stuff like that!" Before she had even finished talking however both Ronan and Kris were in the water. Typical.
The three of them had additional clothes in the car but for now each of them were just wearing swimsuits, Ronan in an athletic suit that went down to mid thigh, Kris in a boyshort two piece and her red hair done up in a messy short ponytail, and Maili in a simple one piece. A few specks of stray sunscreen were seen here and there, but it wasn't going to last long under the watery assault Ronan and Kris were giving it.
Wading into the shallower water while the two of them frolicked like... well, seals, Maili began to look for some seashells, waiting for them to burn off their energy. Most of the people Ronan had wanted to meet up with looked pretty well swamped at the moment, so it didn't hurt to swim in the mean time.

Ian's face reddened at Caroline's antics, his lips pursed together slightly. She was so boisterous! Not in a bad way, really, but his personality was so different from hers; he often had a hard time matching or handling her. And so, he simply resigned to shy silence, sipping his drink as he watched the others talk.
"No, unless looking at them counts," Caroline laughed, waving a hand. She had never had the natural green thumb that Ian had been blessed with; most of what she planted died well before its time.
But before either of the redheads could say much more, both Justin and Melanie had wandered off. Much like twins, they stared after the two before glancing at each other. Caroline's smile was much larger than Ian's, and she tried to reassure her brother. "It's probably my fault, I kind of barged in."
Ian laughed a little, glancing past Caroline when he noticed a particularly colorful figure a few feet away down the bar. A Raevan! Ian had to do his best not to stare; she was so pretty! Were those...rabbit ears? Caroline seemed to notice her as well, and promptly sucked in a quick breath. "Oh my gosh, you're so cute!" She quickly realized how strange or rude that might have sounded, and put a hand over her mouth. "Ugh, I'm sorry, that was really dumb of me. I'm Caroline, it's nice to meet you." She smiled warmly at the rabbit Raevan, glancing to Ian. "Ian, don't be rude; introduce yourself!"
Ian balked a little, looking quite like a cornered animal, before scooting closer and offering a shy smile of his own. "Ah, it's nice to meet you. I'm Ian. I...don't think we've met before, but I did the flowers at the Christmas Party." He offered his hand in greeting, trying to be extra polite to make up for Caroline.
Camille was thankful that the parking lot to the beach wasn't a sandy death trap, not that the blue Subaru would have any problem with that type of terrain- he would. Sand gets everywhere. He hated it in wartime and he hates it now. Mud and swamp? That was more his style- but hey. This was a family outing. Kind of.
Harrison bulled the good-bad-good news sandwich a few months ago. 'I'm gonna be a dad again - You've gotta go though - But you're Tatiana's uncle so expect weekly dinners!'. Like any ********' officer, he watched the closest thing he had to a brother dance around some pretty negative s**t. And he couldn't hate him more for it so Camille shrugged it off and started a business. Living large on disability and participating in Lab events for Tatiana.
The medic pulled his phone out once he dismounted Tabby [short for tabasco and uh- yes... Of course he named his cars] and saw the litany of texts from Trox. He deleted most of them and shot back a 'Right in front of you' to the most recent message. Camille looked up, gazing across the small party and let out a low whistle- Lab 305 really did pull out all the stops for their growing family. He grinned when he saw Mordekai and a large crew- it seemed the former infantryman had indeed started reintegration whether by force or natural outgoing demeanor. Anita was there- Troxel's self proclaimed adoptive daughter. He didn't really know her. Aaand a bunch of faces that he didn't know or he didn't have a name in his bank to match up to.
Not wanting to intrude he gave a small wave and moved to his trunk- pulling out two boxes of sample brews. He worked something out with his prospect suppliers and managed to snag 24 free bottles to 'sample'. Granted- he didn't know the open canister law here and the willingness of the individuals present to enjoy a microbrew or IPA on the beach. Whatever didn't get consumed he'd happily take back, he resolved as he hobbled to the sand- fine until the ground became a dynamic and variable entity. This would take getting used to, he mused as he struggled towards the buffet.
