Mrs. Kitty didn't approve much of the immortal man's drinking habits, but she could sense he was a man who would prefer quiet animals, so she didn't speak. She could hear that Silver wanted the man to attend the ball, so Kitty turned on the charm. As the man pet her she rubbed her soft cheek against his hand and purred loud as a lawnmower. She even looked up at him with her big eyes, and let out a little, "Meow," just for him.

Okami smiled, "I could just buy you a dress, I have to get me one too." She said. "If you want me to buy it, just follow me!" She turned and walked to one of the shops.

[Exit to wherever the heck I decide to post]

Aura turned pink, this man was definitely not what she was used to. "I have to go get clothes now, I will see you tonight." She smiled, and turned to go to the shops.

[exit to whereever i post]

Malum didn't think he'd turned it down per say. But it would be a lot more fun if she didn't think he was going at all. Maybe he'd steal some things, snoop around, and scare a few people. Anything to fill up some free time.

[exit somewhere]

Ollor guided part of his wind over to the fountain to place the kitten gently on the lip of the fountain, the other part of his wind was spent on answering the crow, who upon speaking let him know exactly who she was. "Ahh Mikora my dear! How are you? Your brother Lucien? I left him escorting a rather bothersome sand spirit, I do believe he may be getting her some dress or another for the twin's ball tonight. Poor thing must be going crazy the way that desert can be. I'm owing him something big for this." He told the crow with a sigh. It was common amongst the wind spirits to exchange favors for just about every action between them, a sort of equivalent exchange that most of the humans seemed to be confused with for the most part. This one was bound to be big.

Axel smiled as Aura made her quick getaway and knew he wanted to dance with her tonight. He knew her scent, he would find her tonight at the ball. It was only a matter of time and distractions. "See you around," he said to the empty alley long after she left before he made his retreat as well.

[Exit Axel to his home.]

Leticia froze for a moment, past experience telling her it was a bad idea to rely on someone who offered to buy her something experience. It landed her in several sticky situations in the past, it landed her several broken bones as well, but Okami wasn't like her ex-boyfriends, she wasn't an ex. She was a nice, yet strange young woman. Okami wouldn't beat her up like her exes. "I'll take you up on that offer," said the woman, "but I'll pay you back," she quickly added and giving herself a reason to stay in town longer than she planned.

[Exit Leticia after Okami.]

Malak watched as the kitten started drinking from the fountain before grooming herself, so Malak knew she would be fine. The kitten wasn't injured. Whether the kitten wandered off or not was not her concern, the kitten could take care of herself. The witch was more interested in the crow until she heard Ollor's reply to its—her—cawing. Mikora the crow was a friend of Ollor and Lucien's sister. Their conversation—at least the side of it she could understand—was boring. Typical gossip and stuff. "Well, I'll leave you to your chit-chat. I'm gonna buy a mask for the ball. Smell you later." She waved goodbye to the pair and headed for Quirky Clothing.

[Exit Malak to Quirky Clothing.]

Silver cooed over his adorable Kitty as the Asian man—what was his name? He didn't hear it, or the man didn't mention it—looked at Kitty with the obvious desire to pet her. Mrs. Kitty was so soft and fluffy and adorable, it was hard to resist her. "Mrs. Kitty will be with me at the ball.~" He sang before leaving the drunken man. It was time to buy clothes and then return home.

[Exit Silver to shop and then return home to get dressed. We'll skip over the clothes shopping.]

Aoi didn't like being tempted with a cat, it didn't happen to often, only twice, and in his slightly drunken state, the elemental's mind wandered away to the past. He remembered the two women who tempted him with cats. The memories made him smile with nostalgia. The first time was with the alchemist, Elwyn O'Broin, a fiery flame-haired woman with a freckle-covered face, impossible to understand Welsh-Gaelic accent, and short stature complex that drove him insane during their short and fleeting fling. He was surprised they lasted together for more than a month, but he had wanted something from her and her from him, and they both got what they wanted in the end. Now, the second time a woman tempted him with a cat, she was his last woman; she was the self-acclaimed and egotistical "Great Witch of the East", Hzim Mikhail Ahmad, the most obscene, ill-mannered, stubborn, and willful woman he ever had the displeasure of knowing. It was a wonder they didn't kill each other during their sixty-year marriage. It was a wonder he didn't her companionship from time to time. She was the most honest and straight-forward woman he knew since the beginning of his life. It was a trait he missed and sometimes searched for in the eyes of witches he met, but failed to see.

The immortal wondered what the Hispanic young man—really a boy, but he was growing into a man in his society's terms and would be a man during Aoi's generation—would think about Elwyn and Hzim and the cats. It was a funny prospect to think up.
"Ah, well, might as well attend the ball for real." He sighed and stood up to pick the invitation he tossed to the ground earlier. It wasn't like he had better things to do besides be a drunken a**.

[Exit Aoi to his hotel suite.]

The crow nodded at Malak before she left, before returning her attention to Ollor, if you could pay attention to something you couldn't really even see. "Thank you Ollor, I best be finding him then, there's a few things I must speak to him about." she cawed , flapping away before the wind spirit could think of a suitable favor to ask in return. I don't know why my brother insists on playing their games of favors, they make no sense and half the time they're impossible. She circled the square for a moment to get her bearing right, then made her way to the only store she knew could sell clothes for a ball. Quirky's it is then.

{Exit Miko To Quirky's Clothing}

Ollor watched Mikora flap away, armed with the information he had given so willingly. Well drats, I knew I should have asked her for something, that girls seems to know about everything before I do, so many questions about this town could have been answered. He the wind sighed, blowing a few scattered newspapers and posters around. He glanced at one of the invitations floating around the square and came to the decision that he had better pay his respects. They may just remember me the next time they need something He thought gleefully. The idea of having one of the twins indebted to him was intoxicating. He immediately flew over to the Manor.

{Exit Ollor to Manor}

Kakumei slowly walked down the street, looking for anyone to interact with, holding the biggest bottle of soda that anyone had ever seen. His long blue hair blew back behind him as he walked against the wind. He was in a long, loose kimono, with a large backpack on his back. His bright yellow eyes looking around everywhere.

Kakumei kept walking, chugging down his soda that seemed to weigh even more than he did. He kept looking down the street, though its contents remained empty.

He slowly turned and looked behind him, wondering if maybe all the people in the city had managed to sneak up on him.

With lighting fast speeds, he turned his left arm in front of him and pointed at a hapless Pill Bug.

"I knew someone was... Oh.. What is that thing?"

He bent down, poking it gently and watching it roll into a little ball.

"Most excellent! Anything with a bendable spine and rounded armor plating could easily employ such a tactical movement! But... How did this creature get so small? In the books I read as a child, these things used to be as tall as me..."

Amaya walked with her head high and back straight, as any Queen should carry herself. And even though she wasn't cold, she pulled the white fur cape she wore closer to her body over top of the battle ready light blue leather shirt and pants she wore. She ignored, for now, the mud that was sticking to her boots. Mud always stuck to her paws too, and it was a pain she was accustomed to. "Armel," she spoke quietly to her subject and current bodyguard, not worrying if he could hear or not. If he could not, he would have to speed up to her, for she didn't feel like raising her voice.

"We should find somewhere to rest for the night. We have walked a long ways." Her stamina would still allow her to go on for much longer if it was necessary, she typically lived and hunted in the harshest of environments. But they did not have to, and a Queen needed her sleep. "Go ask someone if they know of a place we can get a room."

She didn't pause to see that her orders would be carried out. Unless Armel wished to cause a ruckus and challenge her leadership right here, he would obey. And he had never showed signs of coveting her crown, so far. That she was sometimes curious about, his siblings all wanted her throne, but she usually had too many more important things on her mind then worrying about why a loyal subject was loyal.

Armel bowed to his queen, quick and slight, as he carried out her order. The little dreary town they were in was quiet and boring. Why his queen chose such a pathetic place, he did not know. It was not his place to question the thoughts or actions of his sovereign, so he did not question her. To question would be disobedience and disobedience was treason. He was her subject and nothing more. Any thought or action was solely devoted to fulfilling her orders without hesitation. Thoughts or actions deviating from from his queen's royal decrees were to be severely dealt with in turn. Whether his own or other subjects, no exception was made. But really, why such an awful town? No one in town was awake except for a drunkard talking to an insect. Armel should have timed their arrival for the daytime so his queen would not be troubled by such an unsightly creature.

No matter, as the queen's loyal subject and bodyguard, Armel performed his duties without fail.
"Pardon the intrusion...sir, but I am in search of some proper lodging for my queen. Where may I locate such a place?" He almost felt something akin pity for the lowly drunkard. A sneer almost worked its way into his muscles. If the drunk was not sober enough for a proper response, than Armel would make him sober. The cold chill that followed wasn't just a form of intimidation to the weak.

[Armel thinks Kakumei is drunk because he's talking to a pill bug and just being odd. He's fully aware no alcohol is on him, but assumed Kakumei may have had alcohol earlier and was still drunk.]

Kakumei stood up and faced the person addressing him.

"I just came into town, so I honestly cannot tell you where... You... You aren't human, are you?"

He tilted his head, his eyes scanning the other person with great care. The male knew something was up, feeling the chill around him.

Armel stared at the odd man before him, disappointment running as an undercurrent in his mind. He hoped this man would be sober enough to give him information. However, it turned out the man was not drunk at all, just strange and unappealing, unworthy of his queen's time. "If that's so, then very well. My apologies for disturbing you, sir." Bowing slightly to the man, as much as it pained him, Armel returned to his queen's side. The strange man had no useful information to give him and he had no reason to answer the man's question. Aside from that, it was an insult to assume he was a filthy human. Why such a weak and unsightly creature existed, he did not know. Why he thought he could question Armel, it was a mystery. However, he would not dwell on this odd man because his being belonged to his queen and no one else.

[Feel free to bother Armel.]

Kakumei followed the other, sticking his finger in his mouth in thought. He kept a bit of weary distance, his bright yellow eyes still looking the other up and down. His foot hit a rock, which he allowed to trip him, but he simply rolled and stood back up as if nothing had ever happened, the rock was left in small pieces. "Cold... Cold... Cold..."

Amaya hadn't been paying attention to the information that passed between the men, however a disappointed frown bloomed on her face as Armel returned to her side with nothing to report. When she heard the tumbling behind her she paused her stride only long enough to glance backwards. So he had tripped on a rock.

Now her frown was a sneer. Weak men, men who tripped on rocks, held no appeal for her. She heard him muttering about the cold, and wondered if he felt the chill that radiated from her kinds body. "We will keep walking then. We should eventually stumble upon a suitable place to sleep."
