The arrow that streaked through the sun drenched sky glittered int eh light before hitting it's target. A sharp slice that cut an angry line down the mare's cheek. The attack was on, and Nergui dashed forward. The heavy form of the boomerang proved damn near impossible to avoid completely, and it slammed into a shoulder, spinning her around before the sharpened points of a trident took her through the stomach and sent her doubled over along the shaft. It hurt, it all hurt, and she could feel the liquid trickle of blood tickling along her skin as she lifted her head to meet the bright, baby blues of the woman that had just impaled her. The smile she gave the Hunters was dark and unpleasant, and the bubbling sound of laughter rolled up and out, soft at first, but growing louder. A hand wrapped around the handle of Thaw, holding it in place as the other came up to the side. A dark streak flashed in the sun, slicing into Maebe's shield, and when she drew away, free of the trident, her right hand held a black bladed saber. The sun and sand painted the hunter's shadows in long lines, and Nergui took advantage. Shadows were her's, they bent to her will, did her biding, and if she attacked them? Well, their counterparts would feel it. A hard gouge at the ground kicked up sand, but Cami would feel the hard sting of a slice across the chest. A deep stab would send pain through Otto's leg, and poor Shu felt a slash from wrist to elbow. She was advancing as she carved through the sand, and the last hunter felt the kiss of the blade biting into her shield as it cut across her stomach. It hurt, but Peyton had training to fall back on. She didn't jerk away, but lunged forward instead, sinking spiked knuckles into the woman's side. HP: 45 DMG: 4 CHG: 1/3 Nergui: 45

Feeling the slice across the chest encouraged Cami to slice back and, with a motion that would have all but nicked Nergui's heart had the trainee been but stronger, landed a solid, raking hit. It put her in range, unfortunately, to take damage of her own but it was worth it. Hopefully it would be worth it. Certainly she wasn't going to use her pendant for something as ridiculous as a single horseman! Something in the back of her mind, however, questioned. Why had she attacked so suddenly? Why was she so ferocious? It wasn't hard to shush the pacifist within, remembering the hole between her shoulder blades, and remembering the cruelty of Medea. HP: 30/40 DMG: 9 CHG: 2/3

The stab into his leg threw him off, his aim mid throw having been skewed by the sudden pain. Tenya just barely hit her mark again, coming back to a fairly distracted Otto.
He caught her with one hand, the other aching to rub the offending wound.

She grimaced as Maebe was being attacked, she knew the shield would protect them, but not the pain itself. Shu finally saw the weapon used by the dark lady and the first impression of her totally inverted, she was laughing in a very creepy way, giving her goosebumps as well as the hostility growled at the group. Shu didn't choose to attack and kept a distance, however, she could feel a foreign pain on her arm which puzzled the poor trainee. She was stabbing the sand? .... Z's reminder enlightened Shu about what happened, that was one of the few advantages of having a conceited but rather smart Nian as her partner.
She slid backward to keep a safe distance from Nergui but detached the ball-like sphere which most of the people may treat as accessory because she seldom use it except when she used her charge. Following the unwinding action of the super fine wire, she threw the sphere up into mid-air and hit it with her hammer to give the dark lady a thump at her stomach before she tugged it back.
""Be careful, she seems to be able to hurt us through the shadows." She warned the others about her discovery through the headphones, not to be overheard by their enemy.

Maebe's sticky sweet smile held nothing genuine as the trident sunk in, a much more satisfying feeling than a spar. Of course, it hurt a lot more when the horseman grabbed her trident and slashed into her, sending her flying back while she took care of the rest of the group.
Maebe was doing a terrible job of keeping the horseman off of them. She pushed herself back up and stumbled painfully forward, slashing away weakly to try and take all of Nergui's attention.

The attacks rained down pain upon the horsewoman, but she would not relent. Could not relent. This was her mission, and she would carry it out as long as she was able. She would make Her proud, their queen, their dark goddess. Medea. Still laughing, the dark skinned mare reclaimed the offensive. She moved as if there was music in her head and she danced across the sand. Turning, and gliding, black steel blade a blurred streak that glittered in the sun as it came down to cut across the magenta haired huntress before she moved onto the next. The male was an easier mark, distracted as he caught his weapon again, and she drove the sharp tip into his right shoulder before moving onto the next. Adorable little thing, glasses slightly askew. She was sharp as a tack, calling out her ability to warn the other's, and she'd reward that cleverness with another harsh slash through the sand, through shadow, across the pretty little Asian's stomach. The last two blonde beauties felt the kiss of her blade in quick succession, cutting into their shields as she sped past them. Peyton, in return, lashed out to catch the horsewoman's arm with spikes. Tearing into that dark skin before jerking back and away from her, aware of the cast of her shadow in the sun. HP: 40 DMG: 4 CHG: 2/3 Nergui HP: 19

Damage: 10Otto grit his teeth tightly as pain burned into his shoulder; the horsewoman's nails having dug deep while he'd been defenceless. The dark skinned pony was wild, and flailing about like a lunatic across the battlefield. Maybe she thought she was untouchable. Bitchass psycho. Confident he could prove her wrong and bring her back in chains, Otto ran straight for her. Rather than throwing his weapon, he used Tenya much like a baseball bat and threw his weight into one deadly swing. He aimed for her head.

Shu wasn't the smart one, but her weapon was. The petite Asian was charmed by the beautiful dance like elegance of the horseman that she didn't notice her shadow was becoming longer and longer, easy to reach for Nergui. Not before the gouging pain reaches her stomach and she was force to naturally curl up. As she was accustomed to the pain and braced again, the Sun hunter with blonde hair lunged forward. Why they are so powerful but she is so weak? She tried to stand up and swung her weapon at the enemy, but she fell when the pain got her. She needed to be more familiar with pains, she thought. HP: 25/ 40

Maebe let out an audible scream as the blade bit into her shield, and she stumbled to try and keep herself steady, digging Thaw into the ground to give herself the leverage. It was enough of a pause for the others to run forward, and barrage the horseman with attacks. She had taken her time getting her momentum back, and on the wake of Otto's swing Maebe was in the air, Thaw held high above her head to slam down into Nergui as hard as she could. As she landed on the woman, a second, equally high pitched scream escaped her. In the back of her mind, she briefly considered transferring to Sun. Thaw groaned with disapproval. HP: 35/50 Damage: 7 Charge: 3/3 Nergui's HP: 2

Nergui's slash sent Camille sprawling into the sand, hissing as it went into the small wounds left behind. It was all she could do to fire a shot and it barely missed the shoulder of the horsewoman but it was almost enough. All it would take was one more hit and maybe someone was in better condition than the trainee to attempt it. Almost half of her shield had been depleted -- she was almost in serious trouble. The double barrage from two of the blondes was enough to drive the dark mare to her knees for an instant before, the world around her exploding in lights of color from t blow to her head. Then she was up on her feet and moving again, attacking, yes, but only as a distraction. She'd had her fun, now it was time to leave. If she fell here, there were two stallions back home that would be furious with her, and Nergui didn't dare make them worry. Much. It was the shadows she went for again, slashing and hacking near their feet as she swept past them to gain some distance. Then, a large stretch of sand between herself at the group(though the littlest blonde was now charging), an arm swept up in a dark sweep, and with it, shadows! A wall of darkness solid enough that she heard the Sun girl hit it, cursing. With a grin the priestess cut a portal to home, and laughing, she slipped through it. As the shadows fell, the desert was empty again of anything but Hunters. "Son of a b***h!" Peyton shouted it, stepping back from the falling barrier with an aggravated snarl and a harsh kick that sent sand sailing. "We almost had her." They'd been so close! The anger lasted only a moment. There were other things to worry over, her team for one, and she turned and regarded the other four with her before moving to where Cami had stumbled to offer a hand up. "Are you okay?" Raising her voice, she called out to the rest of them. "Is everyone okay?"

"Oasis. Let's go." This was how he planned to deal with their wounds and weary bodies.
