Shu suspiciously stared at the things being picked out from the cart like magic, she was suspecting someone tricked them for paying extra money. She remembered she only put in some candies, a cheese wheel and that's all, why so many dog foods - and another cheese wheel (They surely didn't look like some cute little mices that would died in happiness) - and lastly - where the biggest problem lies in - the crab legs! They were delicious but - but - super expensiveeeeeeee! Shu's eyes glared at those evil pet foods and crab legs as if they ran into their carts by themselves, and after a while, decided to forgive the awesome crab legs that looked wonderfully savory.

"Sorry, Evan-" The apology was cut because Noemi pulled out her card and handed it to Evan, "Is it common to pay by card individually? In my place, we use one card to pay and then we pay back the person the sum should be......so I should hand my card also?" The petite Asian experienced a little culture shock and confusedly gave Evan hers with a big question mark floating ahead her head.

Shu then went to give a hug to Noemi, whispering near her ears. "I suspect some kids put extra stuff into our carts to make us over budget, I think the grocery shop here is like battlefield, we need to always alert." The girl reported her observation to her best friend. Then, she turned to Evan, "Evan, so now we've got some lovely extra crab legs and such. I heard that you can cook well, and Mimi too! So - would you two mind cooking a meal together? I can help too!" Hopeful sparkles were shot to the two, "I don't want to waste those crab legs....besides, I'd like to spend some more times with all of you!" The girl smiled brightly with rosy cheeks, body obliviously wiggled, and looked at each of her shopping team from low to high angle.

Evan refused to fall prey to Noemi's goddamn puppy dog face, knowing that if he wasn't firm now, she wouldn't learn anything. He took the cards from her, Shu, and Oliver, adding his own to the little stack before handing them over to the cashier with a smile.

"It's okay," he said to Shu. "A lot of places will let you ring things up on multiple cards just because it's quicker than doing a bunch of different transactions, especially if they're busy. And I guess we can make, I don't know...crab lasagna or something. Maybe crab linguine. I don't know, we'll figure it out later."
