Midnightglow18 Sigh maybe I'm just not lit enough for this Just take it slow and read out loud what you've typed. It's not about putting out as much words as possible. It's about writing something fun and interesting that others can understand. I type most of my solo's(and a lot or PRP responses) out in Word since I make a TON of mistakes. And I make enough that not all of the mistakes get caught when I double check.... If you don't practice your writing, it'll never get better. Think of this as a learning process; I know my writing's gotten a lot better since I joined the B/C's. Don't get discouraged! *hugs* I can understand your writings, which is good. It's just the punctuation (hence the advice on reading out loud. People pause when there's a comma or period. So reading it out loud tells you where the comma and period should go.) and a few words with the wrong... tense? Like Married when it should be marry or something like that.

Midnightglow18 Sigh maybe I'm just not lit enough for this I think you're plenty literate enough to handle yourself here. At least as literate as plenty of the others already in the shop. You may have just stepped on some of Robo's pet peeves, but personally, what you have seems fine to me - well within the standards of what we're looking for here - and others who are already in the shop have bigger issues with their writing (at least, on the list of my pet peeves) that go on without complaint so...I wouldn't worry about it other than to ask if you wanted to improve in those areas. Overall, you should be fine, certainly as far as getting your ideas across. Anyway, I think Sere is shaping up very nicely, you've been highly cooperative and positive, and she would make a lovely addition to the shop. As far as I'm concerned, you've rounded her out enough to have my approval as staff. You'll need one more, though, before you can apply for her during the next coming custom's month. :]

I can try reading out loud but I can't promise it would be perfect even then. >.< I think I'll send it to the person who offered to prof read it for me

Apple Bloom offered to prof read her for me, so I'll see what edits she spots that I'd likely miss and keep trying to improve her, till the next character openings.

Uke's right, you're literate enough to rp and stuff. But I turn into a grammar nazi some days sorry... it is kinda a pet peeve of mine~ And yes. It's got my stamp of approval as well for he subject matter~ It's well rounded, got a nice back story with some things for future plots so it's good! (It;s just me and my grammar peeves XD ) 2 stamps makes that an official approval so now just to wait for customs month~

Midnightglow18 Oh ok, also I was wondering are there butterflies and grasshoppers? Yeah. Insects from our world can be found over there. The bigger things like rabbits, cats, dogs, elephants... nope. The Magesc version of those you can find in the Creatures thread in the Guide forum. Birds from or world are there though I doth believe.... If you don't see a type of animal and want to make a Magesc version, that's doable as well. The info for that is also in the Creatures thread.

The little beach event just gave me the idea of one of her hobbies being chasing butterflies and grasshoppers, I just wanted to make sure they were there. Like I noticed the Bognotti so I figured there likely weren't our world spiders.
