Harlen Sinclair  Harlen stood abruptly and grabbed Ryuk by his shirt, meeting his gaze. His breathing became heavy, and frost started to spread from his hand to the shirt. His own skin paled to a light blue reminiscent of a frozen lake, and his eyes turned completely white. When he spoke, his voice carried a sharpness to it, like a cold winter wind. "What are you doing here? What do you want?!? Tell me or you're going in for a deep-freeze. I don't care how much fire your family has, I can over come the heat." A single, crystal tear escaped his eye. " I won't go back to my father. Never!"

When Harien grabbed Ryuk's shirt and couldn't help but grin then he spoke. Cool out, I didn't turn you in now did I. If you wish to dance we can however. He says as fire jumps up around them and Ryuk grabs Harien's hand that was holding his shirt as a voice spoke out form inside Ryuk. Who are we going to burn now Ryuk let my power flare. Ryuk slowly grins as his eyes turn gold as do the flames around them,and the heat the put off went up almost ten fold.

Harlen Sinclair An aura of bitter cold surrounded Harlen, matching the intensity of Ryuk's own fire. He was only a moment away from trying to strike him down, when Mercurius spoke up. Woah now! Normally, I'mm all for seeing you thrash another idiot, haven't seen it in years, but this guy's different. There's something else there.. Or someone else... Let me talk. Harlen mentally yelled back. This isn't exactly the time, or the place, to be doing that. Listen kid, if I'm right, which I am like 90% of the time, no one will get hurt. And you like that whole "non-violence" scene, right? And you know you can shut me down at any second. He was right, and Harlen really did not wish to fight. He mentally unlocked Mercurius. He took a step back and his eyes became unfocused. Then his body began to transform even more. Black horns emerged from his skull, his teeth became fine, crystal like points, and his hands became blue and white claws. His skin seemed to take on a scale like appearance. He then refocused and stared into Ryuk's eyes, but almost past them, as if looking at something inside. And he smiled a terrible, toothy grin. "Well. It has been a while, hasn't it."

  After receiving the book, Nina and Noah sat down on some chairs and read the book. Suddenly, Noah started to sweat, and shiver, and told Nina "That person I smelled earlier can use fire!" Let's stop him before this library is destroyed." Nina said. Noah wrapped the book in cling wrap and wet wool. Then he left it on the table. Nina grabbed his hand and the two ran to the circulation desk. Harlen and a tall, blond man have started using their abilities. Nina grabbed both of Noah's hands. "Shadowbind!" Nina shouted. "Mana Burn!" Noah shouted. This caused the two men's bodies to be binded to their own shadows and their own magical energy to physically harm them. After that, "Nina said Please stop fighting..." "You'll destroy the library! I can't forgive anyone who upsets Lady Nina, especially g---" Noah said. He shuddered a little when he said Harlen's new form. "Mr. Mercurius, what's going on?" Noah asked bluntly.

Harlen Sinclair Harlen/Mercurius laughed and looked at Noah. "Don't worry Bat-Boy. Harlen's still here, we just felt it was... appropriate for me to reintroduce myself to and old friend in person. Isn't that right?" He gave a smug grin to Ryuk. "And don't worry. Harlen wouldn't dare let me cause any damage to the library or its patrons. After all, this is his body." Mercurius chuckled.

Ryuk grins wider when he sees Harlen change and then Ryuk spoke in a deep voice not the soft kind voice he used before. Hello Mercurius. He says simply as fire slowly surrounds Ryuk from view,this also broke the shadow bind spell on his body and soon gold flame wings form behind the fire and soon Ryuk reappears form in the flames. His body was covered in scales and his eyes where completely gold with silver slitted pupils and Ryuk's hair looked as though it was fire it's self. Demacis what is this.Ryuk asks mentally as Demacis takes over and he answers. Keep quiet let the big boys talk. He says allowed not caring much any more and soon Ryuk's body was giving off a golden shine and his hands where now armored gantlets with claws on them.

Harlen Sinclair Mercurius looked up and laughed. "I thought that was you Demacis. Have to say, though, I thought for sure the Sinclair's would have got you. A Firelock? Now that's interesting." He looked around. Luckily, Harlen had used his powers to make most of the rooms flame retardant as a precaution. The computer was probably fried, and the books he had brought to the desk were cinders, but luckily the rest of the library was safe. The shadow bind kept him still, and the mana spell stopped him from using most of his ice spells, but luckily he had a few powerful spells that could overcome it, and he still had soul magic, though Harlen was incredibly against using it. "Now Demacis, we're both superior beings. What do you say we work something out? In our normal forms, we couldn't best each other, and quite frankly, a fight between these two will go on for days if not weeks and months. In the interest of time, I suggest we forego the fight of the century and figure out how best to deal with our young mortals' problems."

Suddenly, Noah flipped his hair. This hid his right eye and revealed his left eye, which is silver in color. He also grew fangs. "If anyone starts harming Mistress Nina or this library, I'll make sure you regret it, b******." Noah said in an assertive tone.
"Noah is pissed! Better settle this quickly or Noah will suck your bodily fluids dry..." Nina said in a cautious tone.
((OOC: Yes, he's bipolar. Also, I censored his foul language.))

Demacis looks at Mercurius and laughs. I was hoping to enjoy a little fight but I guess it is best not to or this hole school may get leveled,alright I will hear your plea. His eyes turned to the young boy and his golden eyes widened slightly and a heavy wave of spirit energy slams into the young man pinning him in place and soon the air in the whole building became heavy and hot and when Demacis spoke the building shook. Don't you speak to me like that boy,if you do again I will make hell seem like heaven when I am done with you. Then the heat faded and so did the crushing energy around the boy,as he looks back at Mercurius. Now as for this man I joined him freely he has more power then his whole family. He says now talking normally. ((You don't need to do that my dear most of my RPC's cuss all the time))

Harlen Sinclair Mercurius's voice held a surprising amount of patience. "Now, now, no need to get your collective panties in a twist." He turned to Noah, and his voice became like Harlen's again. "Don't worry, Noah, I won't let anything happen to you or Nina." Turning back to Ryuk/Demacis, his voice became chilled again, but had a casual tone. "Now, you already know that we're not supposed to be here, or anywhere off the Sinclair estate, that's a given. From what I can gather, the Firelock's were told to hunt Harlen down for fear of exposure and loss of a valuable asset. This is also assumed. But, Harlen here knows a decent amount about your human's family too, and allowing a demon to possess your body is a pretty big no-no for you guys. Am I right?" He began smirking. "So, here's the situation as it stands. We can't let you go free because you may blow our cover, and if you let us go free, we could tell your family your dirty little secret. So the only solution, and I despise saying this, is for both of us to remain here, at the Academy, where we can keep tabs on each other. It's not ideal, but necessary."

Demacis looks at Mercurius and gives a grown. If Ryuk wished to blow your cover he would have when he called his father but he didn't. He is much like your human in a way they both crave freedom and they will only get that if they..He cringed slightly before saying.Work together. and in his mind Ryuk even cringed at the thought but he knew it was the only way to really get free. Demacis let me speak. Ryuk says and the golden eyes change to normal. Listen up Mercurius,I will go on with this little plan you have but if you think you can hold me when my own family couldn't you have another thing coming.. He was cut off my Demacis. Sadly he speaks the truth he broke out of a seal meant to hold high level demons like us,and he didn't use any of my power to do so. He says looking over at Mercurius.

When he was pinned down, Noah's hair was flipped back to its original position. He cried a lot and said "I'm so sorry! I got desperate. I won't do it again! Here, I'll remove the spells from you, Mr. Sinclair and Mr. Mercurius!" With a single whistle, the two spells were broken. Nina then heard what they said and responded "Noah just calmed down. Thanks for pinning him down(his submissive side has a bondage fetish)...ummm. What are your names again, sirs?" ((OOC: Ok...I guess. He only does it when his aggressive side takes over and is the only character I've made so far that actually cusses.))

Harlen Sinclair Mercurius laughed. "From what it sounds like, our humans are more similar, in more ways than one!" He then handed control back to Harlen, but not before leaving one final sentiment. "Beware this one. His kindness betrays the true cruelty in his soul..." With that, Harlen returned to normal. He seemed a little dazed and confused, but when he saw Noah, he ran over to make sure he was alright. As he did so, he glared at Ryuk. "So I guess we're working together now? I'll trust Mercurius's wisdom for now, but I don't trust you or your family."

Demacis grins as Mercrurius returns Harlen's body to him and spoke once more as well. Mind your step Harled anger hides a broken heart and a beaten soul. The fire then flares up around Ryuk and then all the heat disappears and Ryuk was standing there steam rolling of his body and soon his eyes opened the gold now gone and he spoke. I don't much like this my self,but what has to be done will be I guess.. He stopped and looked down at what where his books and his eyes widen. Damn you Demacis you burnt the bloody books I needed that lighting one at lest! He yells and in his mind. Oops my bad. Demacis says with a slight laugh.

"If it makes you feel any better, I saved a book." Noah said as he grabbed the book Harlen gave them earlier from the ashes. He then removed the wet wool and the cling-wrap. Nina's eyes widen and asked "How did that book survive the fire? Those flames were stronger than ordinary ones." "I placed a spell on the cling-wrap, the same spell you cast on your clothes to keep them nice and clean." Noah replied. After that, Nina asked Harlen "Do you have any chalk?"
