To horsemen, the whispers were strong, and they could feel Charon visibly weakening. There would be an end soon. And then they would be one step closer.
They were horsemen, but not like the ones assembled. They were charred and broken, half insanity half-distortion, they were shadows that wrapped around him as chains chains, tethering him to the ground. They were the ones forgotten.
"Kill him."

The smaller woman struck hard and Shaheen's mount reared back, throwing her off, spilling her to the ground. It should have hurt but currently Shaheen could feel no pain, only anger, confusion, frustration, agitation. "No." A whisper, as her mount simply disintegrated, back into fog, into nothing. "No no no no no!" She continued, pushing herself to her feet, grey lips pulled back from black teeth, sword raised. "Find him" a voice whispered, making the woman take pause, head cocking to the side. And then she felt it. The power. Fear. And she remembered her duty, what she was meant to be doing. Turning her back on Ying after one last baleful glare, she sprung back into action against Charon, her blade glowing as bright as the sun once more. He didn't need a voice (though it did help as it recovered his wounds) to tell him to continue his attack on Charon.
He rushed the death again, though the payment for such an attack came back heavy. It did not agree with Charon's vision. It did not think it agreed with Medea's vision, either, but it did not agree with Charon's vision more. It circled in, stalked patiently closer, its edges bleeding smoke, and when it made its weapon the chain was of the same featureless grey that described it. It hurt Charon, and Charon hurt it back more, but it had registered its discontent. The feathers formed again, hitting Charon in the back as he watched Death falter behind the onslaught of attacks. He could feel it, the power leaving the being.

Shik would have added to the attack, but this turn he felt like he had done enough leading up to this point. Besides, he was getting odd vibes from the Gold Group and was more interested in seeing the newer horsemen at work, judging their strengths and weaknesses from the air.
He did try sending a fiery dagger to move Charon closer to them somehow, although it fell somewhat flat. He pretended he meant to do so. Yes.
"Do not falter," he offered Aeron and Qarah, hoping Shaheen didn't notice his . . . little slip up.

After his next attack, Aeron noticed a famine clan member who seemed to be...unhappy with his fighting? His attack?
He landed next to the clan member and gently, but stoically, patted the horseman on the back.

Someone, some Death clan member that Qarah did not know, patted it on the back, patronizing. Its swarm circled in agitation, and it hissed, irritated, giving the other a sour look out of eyes that burned gold. It took out its anger on Charon instead of clawing the other one. The other might be an ally and might be elder to it and even if Qarah was very annoyed those were good reasons not to hit. She struck out with her changed blade, but was sent stumbling back, barely getting in a hit at all, though some of Charons Fear was absorbed back into her. Aeron nodded as Shik spoke to him, There would be no faltering. No washing of this. This was their choice.
And then nodded again as the Famine's clan delivered a very powerful blow to Charon. It was strong. Stronger then his own attacks.

Maybe she was getting tired, or her emotions were getting the best of her. Whatever the reason, Shaheen lost control of her Fear, and was barely able to even give Charon a scratch. She was unstoppable, pushed back, throwing herself forward again, a fleury of blows with a golden hued blade. An all encompassing rage had taken ahold of her, and she would not stop until Charon lay dead on the ground. It was not listening to the patronizing one. It stood very straight and gathered its Swarm, then sent them arrowing toward Charon. The swarm fizzled and disintegrated halfway there, and Qarah retreated, deeply embarrassed.
