Arbutus surveyed the battle for a brief moment, his eyes tracking the now still battle field. Joseph was still assaulting the Ternary, while the Lord Cero was after Fosser. Arbutus scowled at the turn out, almost all of them had transformed with the exception of Fosser who would not stay that way for much longer with his forces stalled.

Arbutus' eyes widened as Joseph stuck Marta Nicole down, then in a flash obliterated the man in his resurccion state. What had just happened? A fruit grew inside the mas of vegetation that comprised the forest kings head. Later the fruit would reveal what had happened.

"SALTE, LORD CERO, PROTECT THE TERNARY." Arbutus began to swell, his chest filling with air, creating a whipping vortex of wind. The elder arrancar swelled to nearly twice his already gigantic size. For a moment the wind stopped as Arbutus stopped inhaling and tipped backwards. Pitching forward Arbutus let out a hurricane force bellow of pure rage. The rock formations quaked at the wind and vibrations, erupting in explosions of stone, tearing up the army of hollows. Entire ridges of rock quaked before erupting and exploding outward. Ridge after ridge exploded the rock and sand torn away. The very air shook as the gale blew even the clouds away.

After several minutes of deafening sound, Arbutus finally ran out of breath. Before him, where an army had been on the charge, was a huge gout of clear space. the rocks for a kilometer were gone, the sands blown away leaving bare rock devoid of the spirit drawing force. None of the army had survived, no trace of them remained. Here, in any case, parts could be found for several miles, feeding the smallest hollows. Fosser of course had survived, like the roach he was.

Fosser was stunned spit-less, his eyes slowly searching the wide expanse of open area. All his advantages had been stripped away, by the hated Tree no less. The goblin looked at the assembled crowd of fully released arrancars. Of them all, only his precious Salte had not shifted. He was obsessive and crazed but after Joseph had been obliterated and focus put on him, he knew his end was near. Didn't take a genius to see the odds.

"Salte dear," Fosser said, his tone serious for once. "I Challenge you under the Old Laws" Arbutus rumbled a warning, "Even you cannot deny me this Tree," Fosser snapped. Salte, losing her cheerful demeanor, stepped forward. By the Old Laws, a challenge was a battle to the death, the victor devouring all of the fallen. None of the naturals could refuse such a challenge.

"Very well, Fosser," Salte said, her face impassive. She did not want to eat Fosser, even if it did strengthen her. But such a challenge did not allow for squeamishness. Both approached the other and crossed Zanpakto. Salte's mace crossed Fosser's claws. Leaping back both released their sealed forms.

Both disappeared in a wash of white smoke, a second later both erupted form their cover and clashed. Salte had transformed into a pink skinned figure, wearing a mushroom cap, with her arms ending in oversized paws. her fingers had been replaces with stinging, whipping tendrils. While Salte's dress was skimpy exposing much of her skin, Fosser seemed overdressed. A tall lanky goblinoid dressed in a royal blue and gold outfit that was right at home in a castle. he carried a wicked machete sized blade with serrated edges.

Tendrils slashed and steel sang. The combatants moved so quickly a normal observer would not be able to keep up with the duel. Sand flew and the air rippled from their strikes. Salte was slowly gaining strength from the reishi seeping in, her already rubbery skin gaining a bit of heirro. Fosser landed a strike on salte's crown, only to have it rebound off. Salte swatted his arm up and back tipping him and thrust with her free hand. Five tendrils pierced Fosser's torso, ripping and weaving. Fosser leaped away, his chest a bloody mess. Coughing he drooped to the sand. His spiritual core had been hit. His strength was gone. Salte walked slowly toward him, bare feet making soft sounds. "Now I get my wish," Fosser said coughing blood on his regal outfit. "Now we will always be one"

Salte looked at the pitiful creature. Her cap shaded her eyes from view. She lashed forward and impaled Fosser with both hands. "My personality can never be crushed. This is my Parasitic ability" With a tug Salte absorbed the reishi from Fosser right from his core. He withered and crumbled to ash, all the while with a manic grin, content.

Salte left the pile of ash and slowly walked back to her grandfather, holding up her arms to be held, like a child would. Deactivating his Reserccion, Arbutus picked up the girl and held her, she would be adjusting to the internal battle with Fosser right now. She would be fine in time.

Ever the last to land a helping hand to his own comrades, Cillian had watched, impassive as the Ternary struggled in pain. It was only a matter of time their bond would be used against them. In any case, Marta Nicole had not lost her will to fight so it would have been an insult and a waste of opportunity for Cilllian to intervene. He got what he wished for: a mystery that he could only guess its cause. The Ternary had pushed themselves far past their limit and what could only be described as a miracle by those that have not experienced it or witnessed it themselves.

This new milestone must have exhausted the Trinidad even more than they had been before and in a rare show of compassion, Cillian dashed closer to ensure that no Hollows would take advantage of their prone state. He had not even managed to take 5 steps when the ancient tree let out a warning.

In a split second, what could only be described as a tsunami of wind, rock and sand slammed into Cillian. The small male made a dive for the Ternary, using his new appendage as a makeshift rudder to not be blown off course too much. He grabbed onto one twin in each hand and let his tail wrap itself around Marta Nicole's middle section. The Quinta may be slightly wounded as he had not had the time to angle his tail properly which resulted in its sharp red scales to scrape against the crumbling Hueso plates.

Their world would then be turned upside down as they rolled in the waves of sand, slowly letting their Reiatsu return. As quickly as it was returning, it wasn't quick enough due to the harsh sand current and wind. They would need air, and soon so Cillian, in his destructive ways, let go of one of the twins to charge two Ceros in opposite direction, one from his mouth, the other from his free hand. The result was a column of parted sand with them in the middle. It allowed for just enough time for the 4 of them to breathe before the aftershock came, enveloping them once more in sand. After the blast of destructive reiryoku, however, the ground gave in, sending the Ternary and Cillian into freefall into the Forest of Menos.

I'm thinking of making 1-2 training posts in the Forest of Menos while our characters make their way back to the surface to join Arbutus.

Just FYI, Fosser had sort of been tossed by Cillian right in the path of Arbutus' roar. And the roar would only have such powerful effect if it was pure muscle (in plants? Lulz) that were able to exerted enough force on nearby air to deal so much damage. Pure energy blasts wouldn't have worked and would have simply died away after being launched. Also, we'll be back soon, don't worry. Throwing my NPC at ya meanwhile. Feel free to join us too! xD

To the native Hollows of the Forest of Stone, the crumbling of the Sekkiseki was a disaster as what had been evening their odds against high reiatsu beings had been taken away from them. For others, however, it opened the door to a whole new world. That was, unfortunately, the case of Pantamagrette.
She had been approaching with her pets when a loud roar sent a wall of destructive sand her way. Nothing stood in its path, not even the white stone that they had all thought eternal. As soon as she had been engulfed in its wake, she found herself suddenly growing in strength, as though shackles she had not known had even existed were removed.

As a being that had never known Reiatsu, she was quite pleasantly surprised by the thousands of presences just flickering at the tip of her senses all of the sudden. It amazed her, it was as though she had just walked in on a feast of souls. Even immobilized by the sand current, she attempted to reach out to them, pulling at the with her aura of Reiatsu. She could feel tendrils leaving her and wrapping themselves around the sweet, sweet delicacies drifting past her and, with that, she grew stronger, stronger than she ever could as each stars she touched with her spiritual limb dimmed into nothingness.

With a muffled roar, the large bulk of muscle and fat shot out of the sand just in time to see that fool Fosser be ripped apart. Gargamelle had finally awakened and was hungry like never before. The sight of that mushroom stealing her prey enraged Pantamagrette like never before and she let out a roar only instead of expelling air, she released a green blast of energy, a Cero, in the direction of the colorful Arrancar. This particular Cero seem to draw its environment towards it, bending light, pulling sand into the mix until it was an explosive mix of sand, dust, debris and Reiryoku. All the while, Pantamagrette's Reiatsu seem to stretch out in tendrils, stabbing into the stand to pick at corpses and whatever living Hollow still struggling to reach the surface. Their Reiatsu strengthened her, letting power flow through her being.

GDan
Since I'm sort of using this 'NPC' for a fight, I'm gonna count this as an RPC so your characters has now met 3 RPCs. ;D
And yus, Pantamagrette's leeching ability is based on Salte's Syphon except it is a mix of Indice Radar and Syphon.

Arbutus Menziesii

Arbutus started as the Cero and the Ternary dropped through sands. About to dive after them, he stopped. "But of course, the last member to join the party." Arbutus stared across the unstable expanse at the obese arrancar. Arbutus sighed as the cero built up and lanced at him. It would seem his attack held two edges. His roar had obliterated the stones and it was releasing others from the stones chains. His eyes studied the cero, it was condensing everything in its path into a tight destructive beam, the fact that the caster was eating the power for it right out of the dead hollows made this a troublesome attack.

Setting Salte on the sand behind him, he slid his thumb along his shears knife edge, removing the hierro that had returned to him. Whipping his hand up he releasedpointed with two fingers. An orb of emerald light erupted from his fingertips. He waited until the last moment and released a Gran Rey Cero point blank into Gargamell's attack. The old man's world went white for a second as energy clashed on energy. Debris exploded amidst the battle of deadly energy. Arbutus' Gran Rey Cero slowly pushed back the supercharged cero meter by meter before a terrific explosion, triggered by the two energies collision reaching a flash point.

The forest of stones shook as more of the stone was obliterated. Not as much as before how ever. Cero attacks did not do much to the walls that greedily devoured such energy. As the dust cleared it was a shock to see that Arbutus had not moved during the whole event. Simply standing with two fingers pointed at Gargamelle. His eyes however flared with green light. With two of the masters gone, the old man was uncertain if the other was even able to think straight.

"You have had a taste of what you can become have you not" He asked lowering his hand. "This is what awaits us outside the stones. Of those that have left the current battle field is one of the most powerful Arrancar. Should you choose to serve him, he offers power beyond what you have now." Arbutus was not sure if she had control of herself yet. An influx of power could easily shatter a lesser mind. The euphoria of power caused more than enough naturals to lose their minds. Such creatures were often destroyed like beasts.

Salte simply watched, impassive. Her mind was dealing with Fosser's reiatsu, mashing it into her own and subduing it. She tilted her head up, her eyes visable beneath the mushroom cap. Dark, liquid eyes, like a doe's stared at Pantamagrette's form. An odd feeling crept into anyone who looked into those eyes, an almost hypnotic gaze.

the Roar of the Forest King only works on inanimate objects so flesh would not be effected since the stone was not alive per se, it exploded. And I don't mind the use of her skills, just note that salte did heal them before, which you missed when you had the four of you fall.

A high-pitched giggle that resembled claws grinding on a chalkboard escaped the Pantamagrette's toothy grin. The two Ceros fought for dominance all the while Reiatsu tendrils extended the female Arrancar's form to wrap to almost lovingly caress the battling Reiryoku. She could not absorb so much conflicting power, of course, and it wasn't long before the two Ceros exploded, sending residual traces of Reiryoku that she promptly sapped away all over their surroundings.

"Serve another? When I can achieve much greater power by myself?" Her Reiatsu was expanding at alarming rate, giving her the appearance of a glowing octopus with a few too many tentacles. She did, however, steer clear of the Sekkiseki now that she had realized what they took away from her. "Now, how about you give me another light show?" she asked, hunching forward and gathering energy around her feet as though, ready to pounce. Drunk with new found power, the beast let her Reiatsu creep higher and higher and higher until the very sand around her feet vibrated under the assault of her Reiatsu.

In a loud booming sound that would echo all over the sands and ricochet from stone to stone, the large Hollow lounged forward. As fast as she had taken off, she curled into a roll so that she was literally rolling in Arbutus' direction while immaterial Reiatsu tendrils whipped about until they locked into Salte's direction, drawn to her as though mesmerized.

Arbutus gave up. There was no use for diplomacy with a drunk hollow. Sprinting out of the way of the on coming mass he slashed at it with his shears. The blade bit into Garganelle's flesh, not deeply, but the rotation snagged on his strong blades and caused the spinning form to leap into the air right into a wall of stone. He could give her a light show not even she could absorb, but he would need time to pull it of. He looked at Salte who just stood there. Concern grew on his face. She had never been this way, was Fosser causing more trouble than anticipated? He took his chance and released again regaining his massive size. He began the process of charging the yggdrasil Cannon.

Salte was watching the battle, but her mind was in turmoil. The energy of Fosser was strong, and with it came several things that confused her. Emotions, stripped of insanity, hit right in her heart and mind. Fosser had truly loved her, only his hollow nature had skewed things terribly. These conflicting emotions were making it hard to absorb and destroy the gremlin. But her unyielding personality was not going to be over taken, she gripped on to these emotions, mentally screaming as bit by bit they disappeared, dissolving like dust in her hands. Finally they were gone, a part of her now. Fosser was truly and cruelly gone.

Salte stood there, her eyes distant and sad. Her lip trembled as black tears began to stream down her cheeks. She eventually caught notice of her surroundings and the energy tentacles heading her way. Her mind instantly snapped back into focus. Crouching she waited. Just as the tentacles were about to ensnare her she vanished. Her sonido skills awakened she was going to be a tough target to hit. Flying along the ground at blistering speeds she useing her tendril like fingers to gather up the shattered stones, all as big as bowling balls and began pelting Gargamella with them, switching spots with her Sonido Fantasma to avoid the draining tentacles. In the brief flickers when she was visible she looked like she was dancing.

What must have been the old tree's sheers dug into Pantamagrette's back, but she shrugged it off, barely feeling the pain. In fact, she did not lose any momentum even as she crashed into a Sekkiseki mount and used her spin and momentum to bounce away, sending a rain of projectile pebbles all over the place. It did not take long for her wound to heal, but it did not heal in a normal way. It remained open, even though she felt no pain. Upon closer inspection, one would notice a black liquid oozing out of the wound a streak of black across the Hueco Mundo sands.

Perplexed, the large Arrancar stopped its ridiculous tumbling just in time to have numerous stones chucked in her direction. Irritated, she swatted them away, movements wild enough to send more of the black liquid all over the place. She was about to launch herself at the mushroom when she felt something detonate on her back, exactly where the black liquid was. It was a chain reaction and the black liquid she had scattered around the area all detonated with the strength of a Cero, even the large portion had had landed on Septima Espada's blade when he had cut her back.

It was as though someone had decided to fill the place with an unnecessary amount of landmines and hit the detonation button to create one hell of a firework display. On the ground. Sand flew everyone and dust soon overtook the air and it would only be due to her fast Sonido that Salte would make it out unscathed.

Caught off guard, the large Arrancar was sent flying in the air with a pained shriek though she somehow managed to recover in mid air with her newly discovered airwalk. Her whole back would be a burnt and the smell of burnt flesh and fat would permeate the space around her, but she was unfortunately still alive and full of blood and black liquid.

Both Arrancar were caught off guard by the explosive nature of the black liquid. Salte had been fast enough to stay out of danger but Arbutus was charging his cannon and was not fast enough to evade the detonation. Reeling back from the explosions Arbutus was stuck by the portion that had touched his blades. In his release state the bile had spattered on his shoulder. The blast forced him to one knee and kicked him back against a rock face. The old man cursed in several languages as his built up power was sapped away. Perhaps this fight must take a different turn. Recharging his cannon, Arbutus slammed his free arm into the sands. The tree trunk thick tendrils dug under ground before exploding upward. Bouncing across the sands like a rock over water, the vines skipped across the expanse, rooting themselves as they touched down. A barrage of Vines lanced at the fat form.

Salte kept up her distraction techniques, tossed stones did little more than that anyway. Diving in close she stabbed her own tendrils into the fat body. They dug under the skin and sapped away a small portion of power. She was certain that this would drive Pantamagrette as mad as a hornet. She blitzed away, flicking the black ooze from her fingers. Salte wondered what would happen, if the fat one attacked her, grandpa's attack would skewer her. The monster would have to decide on survival or hate. An oddly trilling giggle escaped the speedy mushroom, a sound that was either enchanting or maddening.

Arbutus had one more trick up his sleeves, he grew a plant on his leg that fell to the sands and began to grow. When fully grown it would tower like a massive dandelion, but with a black hole for a center. This trap like plant was a harsh prison, once formed it exploded if they inhabitants or an outside force hit it with sufficient force.

As more of those annoying plants appeared around her, Pantamagrette released one of her Ceros that would pull them into itself just before exploding. She did not expect the vines to move that fast, however, and the explosion took place a bit too close for her comfort so she took a few steps back while reaching out with her Reiryoku tendrils to poke at the vines. She found very little Reiryoku in them, but they were all connected to the old tree that was feeding them the energy to grow so she happily latched herself onto the flux of energy, however small the stream was, from a distance.

Her meal would be interrupted by the an annoying pink fly that kept buzzing around. Unfortunately for the lithe Arrancar, reaching for Pantamagrette with her long tendrils also put her in the range of its Reiryoku tentacles that simply sap back what she would have stolen. The difference between Pantamagrette's ability and Salte's tendrils was that the latter's had a physical form that could, unfortunately, be blocked should Pantamagrette play it smart. She didn't, obviously, and let out a gravely grunt when the invading tendrils detached themselves from her body. It would appear as though she had competition.

She was ready for the detonation that followed not long after her black blood was spilled and used it to propel herself a bit higher in the air. It was magnificent. She could walk on air. It opened a whole new world to her, but she would need to get rid of these two pests before moving on.

Weighing her options, the morbidly obese Arrancar sank her claws into her palms while leaping upwards so that she would be positioned just above Arbutus. Black liquid rained down on all that was below. Predicting that it wouldn't be long before they detonated, she fired two Bala downward, one from each hand so that they would take her blood away from her and add to the Balas the explosive powers of a Cero while she concentrated on healing her wounds.

((OoC:I noticed that you have been using some abilities that weren't approved for this fight. I don't mind since I'm literally Bsing with Pantamagrette, but I think the past few posts where Salte was using her Syphoning abilities could count towards her training to unlock it (you will only need a total of 5 posts to unlock it since we're 1x1 RPing). I would, however, appreciate it if you avoid auto-hitting. ))

Arbutus detached himself from the vines as soon as the fat one began feeding off him. This was a messy fight. Any close contact would drain the attacker, and actual hits would cause the bile to explode from the wound. A nasty foe indeed.

Salte dodged to her best ability but she was still tapped by the ghostly tendrils and quickly lost what little she had stolen. Her soft mouth pouted, she couldn't drain hardly anything at all. Her tendrils had been used to heal before, now she was trying to attack with them, a skill she had yet to master. Spying a wriggling lump of rock behind arbutus she vanished and appeared on top of the pile. Digging her tendrils under the stones she found the hollow trapped beneath and latched onto it. Her tendrils dug into it and sapped away its strength. Not much to speak of but it felt wonderful. The rock pile settled as the hollow turned to ash. It was no trouble to devour the creature. A odd smile grew on Salte's elastic face. She knew what Pantamargrette was feeling now.

Arbutus was almost ready to fire when the fat one purposely rained the black bile from the sky and mixed it with twin bala attacks. The bala's blazed downward The sands erupted into the sky, great sections of ground gave out and fell down where the Lord Cero and the triplets had disappeared to. Arbutus took minor damage from the blasts, his heirro taking the brunt of the attacks. They were only as strong as a basic cero, but the blasts were troublesome with the debis.

A gleam of greenery caught his attention, his Singularity Bloom was fully grown. Opening like a massive sunflower it began to draw everything toward its open, black center. Salte started blasting bala strikes toward Pantamargrette, but they arced and entered the flower instead, the pull from the bloom was too strong. Salte wondered what the fat one would think of such tasty morsels as the bala's were being sent to her, only to be swiped away.

Apologies, the siphon move is still locked, but it was only meant to be a spark to anger Pantanargarette, so it was never meant to be a damageing attack hence the hit. ill try to not auto hit if others refrain from auto dodging ^_^ Do new skills need to be tied the required post amount? or just need a number of posts in that fight?

The old piece of bark was resistant and managed to mostly escape the black liquid unscathed. Still, it appear to greatly hinder him, forcing him into a more defensive stance until what appeared to be a giant flower bloomed into view, sucking everything towards it.

"No! Mine!" Pantamagrette roared in fury at the sight of the diverted Cero. Despite her newfound air walking ability, Pantamagrette launched herself towards the large plant before realizing what was happenings. Their bait had worked: her gluttony was stronger than her sanity. "Damn you! It matters not...All of it! It will be mine."

Pushing her reiatsu range to its maximum, Pantamagrette extended her tendrils as much as possible, sapping away the energy of nearby Ceros. The feeling was most exquisite and she let herself be engulfed by the Singularity Bloom all the while seeping away at the flower's spiritual energy and what residues of it it still held.

The singularity bloom closed on pantamargarette, a mass of tentacles writhed from its cinched tight opening. If those had been physical tendrils like Salte had, they would have been severed instead of simply pinned. Arbutus could sense his foes attempts to devour the plant and its contents. While any creature inside was indeed prey for the awakened arrancar, the plant itself would be a problem. Dealing enough damage to it would cause it to explode quite fantastically. Usually the explosion was about twice a normal cero in power, however Pantamargaette was siphoning power from the plant, little by little. He did not know what would happen if the contents were the source of power for the explosion rather than the plants power. It was a parasitic ability he had bred into his traps. catch and keep, or kill it it tried to escape (granted it had to be quite strong to cause it to explode). Best idea was to obliterate it first, and for that the time had come.

"SALTE, FOLLOW THE OTHERS" Arbutus plucked the plant from the ground, ignoring the tendrils biting his hands. He tossed the bloom high into the sky, out of range of the leeching things.Several large chunks of branches fell away from his arm as power was lost to his foe. But his weapon had charged.

If the Cero and the others thought the roar was bad they were in for a hell of a show. Even beneath the sands, safe from the power of the stike, They would clearly sense his attack. He only hoped it would be then end of his opponent or this would be quite troublesome.

---
Salte had gotten distracted from teh battle. She was toying with a hollow she had snared before the bloom ate everyting, draining its power before shunting it back into the creatures husk. She was getting the hang of moving it around and should be able to shunt ones power of to another via her body. Sticking her tentacles into Grandpa's roots she shuffled the power over to him. It worked in a way,but it evaporated away only transferring a small amount.

When Grandpa gave her the order she bounded out from his shadow and down the rifts in the sand. Sliding like a skier she vanished from view. She knew what he was planning and wanted to be far from ground zero. Grandpa's final attack was no easy thing to control and could end her like nothing
{exit to Quartz Forest}
---

With his granddaughter safely away he planted his legs and aimed his arm over his head. The entire limb had grown into a cannon, with branch like wings sprouting from behind his shoulder. A wide open area in its center housed a blinding ball of light. The barrel was adorned with faces grown from the wood itself, frozen in a silent screams marked each compass point. The ball began to roar as it began to fire, Every being withing kilometers could feel the massive spiritual pressure of the sheer force. then all was silent as the energy launched. It left the barrel in a white beam exploding into a massive blast that spread for a full kilometer from its origin. The upward rushing geyser of pure destructive energy caught the bloom full on, washing it from sight. the explosion of the prison plant was engulfed by the energy, releasing Pantamargarette into the stream of death.

The beam blew away a massive portion of the sea of stones. It was like having a nuke go off only it was directed upwards into the sky. Wall upon wall that had housed the naturals for centuries was reduced to drifting dust.
The scant clouds were wiped away, forming rings around the beam as it ripped away form the desert surface. none knew if their was anything above the desert, but as the massive blast roared heavenward, almost anyone in Hueco Mundo could see and feel it.

---

As the blast disappeared into the obsidian sky, Arbutus fell to one knee. All around him was steaming glass, the sands fused from the extreme heat and pressure. There was not much a chance even Pantamargarette could absorb that much power. but he looked heavenwards, ready in case his foe still lived. If she did, this fight would get desperate. His yellow orbs glowed with grim determination.

the yggdrasil Cannon is uber powerful but it takes time to charge and deals damage indiscriminately. its like the forbidden cero , it can cause a mess. This blast was pointed up, so minimal sub surface damage, but high damage up and to the sides. but you guys should feel this one as your under it. I used the angel arm cannon from Trigun as a Reference, so think of that blast when you imagine this attack only bigger scale

The mighty blast had the desired effect and completely erased all traces of Pantamagrette along with a large portion of the Forest of Stones. Unfortunately, like all ecosystems, toying with the rows of sekkiseki would have disastrous effects on Hueco Mundo. For as long as anyone could remember, the mighty barrier had served as Reiatsu sink and shielded the rest of the realm against the heavy atmospheric Reiatsu of the Sea of Purity. The area lie behind the Forest of Stone and was so deadly to its Hollows that none had ever returned to tell the tale of a land where spiritual pressure was so dense it was palpable, like waters from the deepest trenches of the Human Realm. For creatures that had lived in the absence of Reiatsu all their lives, it was impossible to survive in an environment with spiritual pressure so strong that it would even put Espadas in a tight spot.

Now that the barrier had been weakened, the unrelenting force would be unleashed, eating away at what sekkiseki remained, starting from the direction opposite of Arbutus. In his weakened state, the old Arrancar was at a high risk of being crushed by the wave of Reiatsu that would soon reach him. Some would even say that it was a desperate situation after sensing what could only be described as a tsunami of behemothian Reiatsu.

((OoC: The crew has decided to cooldown a bit on events and is shooing everyone back to their respective domain. We're mid-training however, so I think we should just go back to the Sands of Hueco Mundo or something in the next few posts :Y ))

Arbutus Menziesii
Septima Espada
~Age~

Arbutus heaved a sigh, sealing his resereccion. The old man stood slowly and sheathed his shears. He looked across the expanse of glass. So this is what it looked like last time. No trace of the arrancar of gluttony was present, complete annihilation. But something else was pricking his senses. He slowly turned to the far edge of the crater. Something was beginning to break through. His old eyes widened as his mind clicked. "By Eden what hath I wrought?" he breathed.

His strike had defeated his foe, but he had also fired too close to the one thing that could turn Hueco Mundo upside down. He had destroyed too much sekkseki stone and the very Sea of Purity was threatening to burst from its confines. With a wave of his arm, all the plants in the area flooded to the far wall and began to brace it, dragging any debris along with them to shore up the wall. It would not be enough o course, but it would buy them some time, weeks maybe before the real trouble began. He could feel the naturals closer to the weaker barrier crushed by the very air. With grim eyes and a heavy stone in his heart he fled the battlefield. The Lord Cero would need to be made aware of the situation. Wrapping himself in a freshly grown set of vines, he spun digging like a drill beneath the sands towards the other faint presences he felt below.

The vines left behind continued to haul stone to the wall, but once arbutus left they seemed to lose a bit of their vigor, as if saddened by their masters absence.

Arbutus made a stop gap to hold back the flood but it wont help for long.

"Dragon of Rage"

_As they entered the area Ignion became a kid in a candy store. In his time as a hollow he never knew of a place like this. His face was glued to the window, taking in the site as it came before him. His fire aura began to flare in excitement, but he immediately pulled into check seeing who his company was. "Wow I never even knew a place like this even existed." He thought to himself. As he remained glued to the window he caught sight of the inhabitants of this realm. Arbutus wasn't playing, they looked terrifyingly powerful. Even with all his power, even Ignion wasn't sure if he could handle one of them on his own. Then his attention turned to Arbutus, a serious expression on his face.

I know this may seem as a stupid question, how exactly do I become as powerful as you? Granted I've only been alive in Hueco Mundo for 500 years, but I can sense an increase in power in you both since the meeting of Espadas took place. And before you try and deny it, my primal instincts can sense the change that has taken place, call it a survival mechanism if you will. Ignion asked this question in hopes of gaining some insight from the veteran arrancar. He liked being the underdog but one can only thrive in that position for so long before their luck runs out. he didn't want to die without knowing he was a strong as he could be before falling to a worthy opponent.
