Opening her eyes as she layed back Nanashi would look up at the man with w inquring look. "Who are you?" Having not seen him while at the barracks when she gathered her squad together earlier. Was he new? No he fought to well for a fresh maggot. Maybe he'd been asleep at the time, or away from the barracks at the time. Ether way she'd find out once he answered, then she could take a nap or go to that strange estate.

A slightly surprised look would pass over the woman's face. "Are you now? I may have to test that claim, your skills were okay just now but it took to long to take out that menos. Thus I need to test your skills," Nanashi said as if bored with idea of testing him. While this wasn't true her battle buzz was gone due to the boring fight. "So where were you at earlier?" She asked attempting that what was it called, conversation thing captains do with their squad members. She thinks its call building trust or something, it wasn't her thing but decided to try it for a change.

"Ah, well just don't get caught I'd be more paperwork for me. As for testing your abilities whenever you want just attack me. Just be careful if you try a sneak attack while I'm napping it won't do anything but piss me off." As she finished, Nanashi wondered how he would react to an open invitation to start the test whenever and wherever he wanted. Still laying on the ground the woman made no sign of being ready despite just telling someone to attack her.

Nanashi sighed as he walked a few steps away and drew his blades, "first mistake your givin me a chance to get the first attack. You should always be ready to kill your opponent. If your not then you don't belong in the 11th." She said sitting up with her sword upon her shoulder and her back to the lieutenant. She would then stand to her full height before turning around and removing her blade's saya. In an instant she'd clear the distance between the two and was bringing her blade down with a powerful slash. If not blocked this simple strike could cut the man in two.

Releasing her energy Nanashi would allow his attack to hit her arm, as it did the lieutenant would find not even a scratch left by his attack. " You need to be serious to even hope to hurt me, maggot." While releasing her energy, Nanashi was able to block attacks that weren't at her level with her bare skin, a skill she let others find out the hard way. Grabbing his right blade from atop her arm the kenpachi would twist her own sword and bring it up aiming a slash across his chest. With her grip on the blade strong, the man had three options; get hit, let go and dodge, or block. She was curious which of the three he'd choose, as this one moment meant more then he knew. If he let go and dodged he was a coward. If he took the hit and didn't counter he was a fool. However if he blocked or took the hit and countered he'd be worthy of being called boy instead of maggot.

Stopping mid swing Nanashi would look off into the distance, similar to a dog that hears a sound. She wasn't sure but she could've sworn she felt two burst of reishi then a few energies disappear. As she released the lieutenant's blade shed look at with a slightly serious look, "go check the senkaimon area." Was all she'd say before noticing the area the void had been just had someone get their energy raised. Due to curiosity getting the better of her the captain went off in that direction, something more than a hollow attack was going on and she wanted in on it.
