"Sir Cecilia rescued me from being washed away by a river of people," Kiyoshi decided to back her up, giving her a few more pats on her head since she was so close anyway, "But before we can grant you any sort of knighthood, we would need to know your name."

"I'll never apologize! Rule number one of being a knight is to never ever apologize to anyone ever!" Danny cried, crumpling up a few paper balls and handing them to Cecilia.
She turned to Kiyoshi and nodded. "Wow that's a sweet deed. Rivers suck. I hate water." She blinked and said, "Oh! I forgot to say! I'm Danny. Danny Fitzg-"
Her named was kind of plastered all over the booth. It was kind of overkill at this point.

W...what?! No apologizing?! No. No no no--
"Knights have to apologize!" The girl protested, looking aghast, "They do-gooders! They're chivalrous and polite, and would never insult their prince like that! Never ever in a million--thank you for the paper balls."
How easily distracted she was. While the two were talking, Cecilia took aim, her tongue poking out of the corner of her mouth as her brows furrowed intensely in concentration. With a deep breath, she let it fly, and--bam! In it went!
Looking quite delighted with herself, she turned to the pair with a huge grin, as if asking them if they had just seen that. What she actually said, however, was a little more relevant to the topic at hand. "I'm Cecilia Allegri, but today I am Sir Cecilia, heroine extraordinaire!"

I WON I WON! "Knights apologize when they are in the wrong," He nodded in agreement to Cecilia's words, tossing the second paper ball towards the bin, "Everyone has to apologize if they did wrong - even royals. And old people."
Although he was distracted with the conversation, the ball made its way into the bin. When it finally sunk in that he had won the game, Kiyoshi smiled at Danny, "And I am Prince Kiyoshi today, but just Kiyoshi Yamada any other day. A pleasure to make your acquaintance."
To Cecilia, he nodded, offering a wide smile, "Great job."

"Even old people," Cecilia echoed solemnly. Apparently that was the most important thing she took from Kiyoshi's words...
To be fair, she was a little distracted by the game (which she missed at this time around, wowow you go Cecilia).

I WON I WON! Only one paper ball left. Squinting at the garbage can, she carefully took aim. Steady now--if she wanted to get this in, she needed to do this just rig--
--And then her fingers slipped.
The girl watched with a hint of horror as the ball went soaring through the air. The good news was that it looked like it was at least going in the right direction. The bad news? It looked like it was going to be just a little short. As expected, the object ended up hitting the edge of the can, teetering precariously before tipping over the edge.
Right into the can.
..."YAAAAAAAAAAAAY!"

"Sometimes especially old people," He nodded sagely, and stared at the remaining paper ball in his hand; maybe he could transfer ownership of this ball to Cecilia, if she missed the next toss... Thankfully, although it was a close shave, she made the shot.
"Congratulations, Sir Cecilia," He gave her a pat on the shoulder as he passed her, walking over to the bin in order to throw his last paper ball away. On the way, he picked up Cecilia's missed toss, and binned that as well.
Princes and knights don't litter.

Preacher eyed the booth warily. No matter where she looked, she couldn't find her partner for today. Yeah, she wasn't on the lifting lay, but today was good for shakedowns. Shakedowns needed a partner, one to bump, one to snatch. She rubbed a hand over her face. Despite living in Shiganshina, she couldn't see anyone she recognized. For now, she had no choice but to mingle. The thought was mildly terrifying. The more you mingled, the more likely a face was remembered. Preacher carefully re-tucked her long hair up into the hat and approached the booth. It... it looked fun.
Her ears perked up at the other patrons' words. Sir & Prince? A silly game, but those who joked of nobility were typically middling class and usually had some pocket money. Maybe later. For now, Preacher smiled and accepted the three balls from the perky booth girl. Her hand-eye coordination was excellent, but this was also a game of luck. She tossed one towards the hoop.
And clenched a fist in victory. "Yes!" Her first shot had been clean and true.

Danny clapped as the last paper ball clanged against the side of the trash can. Wow! These two had great throwing arms.
She gestured them closer. "You have to come over here to get your prize!"
Another girl approached and Danny gave her some paper too. "If you miss you have to give me a million coins!" she informed the other girl. It wasn't true, of course, but Danny liked to tease.

Eyes bright and expectant, Cecilia eagerly grasped Kiyoshi's arm and pulled him forward until they were both right in front of Danny.
Prize? Prize?! What did they win?

Some time after Rikki had been wandering alone for a while, he finally came across Danny's booth. To be honest, it looked kind of boring. But he saw a few people shooting paper balls into a trashcan.
"Hey Danny," he called, inching closer to the game. "Mind if I try?"
He picked up a paper ball and tossed it, but it missed the can.

Danny leaned even closer to Cecilia and whispered, "You have to hold our your hand, like this." She held her hand out, palm flat directly in front of her. The suspense was dramatic.
From her peripheral, Danny noticed Rikki approach and ask to play the game. When she watched his pathetic shot, she gave him a thumbs down and a, "Boooooo." Approval not won Rikki.

Rikki frowned and tried again, but once again his shot went wide. He deflated as the paper ball bounced pathetically on the ground. Smooth. He was totally smooth.

Preacher's face softened and she laughed. What a ludicrous claim! "Does that mean I get a million coins if I keep gettin em in the can? And believe me, I aim to win... hopefully." She tossed the paper ball, but missed rather dramatically. "Ah, rats. Talkin too much gets ya beat. I got one more, though, I ken. I'll blame that miss on tha wind."
