Shun's eye twitched slightly in response. He was hardly amused right now. He continued to not say a single thing as he glowered at both men. This might grant him a free meal, so he was bearing with it, but he wasn't going to be encouraging them any further as far as he could help.

Rikki stumbled a little with the shove, but he was having too much fun. He was beginning to think they just needed to soften Shun up a little. A pink flower might do the trick. "I'm just having some harmless fun, Danny," he said, elbowing her in return.

"Do you hear that, buddy? You could get a girlfriend or boyfriend. This flower is magic. Actually. I kind of want that." He clipped the flower into his own hair, using it to tuck the longer pieces of his bangs back. "How do I look?"

Reasoning he'd come back as intended, the teen stopped by the shop, recognizing again Shun from the shop before and Rikki. Alec seemed to keep running into them, at least from a distances anyway..

"Hi there," He more or less blurted, feeling awkward and having to clearing his throat to get the boys attention. His eyes shifted from the boy, to a few roses tied together. "If I.." he paused at the comment about what Shun could use and tried not to laugh, covering his smile with a small cough. "How much for these?" he tried to ask his request again. He glanced at what he was offering for free, the red head wondering for a moment if he too could possibly grab something but didn't want to be rude and ask.

Where had that cat he'd seen earlier gone he found himself wondering.

Alec smiled at the cats antics unsurprised when it didn't bother to obey his owners wishes. So thats what the little things name was Seren? "Two? That's fair, what do you have?" He moved over to his little collection of freebies. There was a necklace, he'd like take it should his he wore ever broke. Why not. Reaching into his pocket he produced two coins handing them over.

Once that was done he selected first the flower bundle he'd asked for, then gave the cat's head a gentle pet. "He was the only one around when I stopped by earlier. Glad I caught you at a better time." He added sheepishly.He eye'd the fact Danny was still actively pawing through what was in the box. "Alright.." he added, moving closer to the female and going for a simple necklace.

"Pardon me, just grabbing something real quick." he added glancing at Danny, or at least more or less. Not exactly making eye contact as if it were a habit of his. He at least offered a smile attempting to not be awkward at least.

"Its not all stupid..to each his own I suppose ya know?" Alec suggested gently giving the other a considering look as he had made his selection by now and was admiring the craftsmanship.

Shun seemed so standoffish..maybe he wasn't that bad? It didn't hurt to and make conversation with him.

The coins made a most satisfying clink as Elliot took them, tossing them into the money box before gesturing for Alec to go ahead and grab the bouquet that he had indicated. When he mentioned having stopped by earlier, the teen at least had the decency to look a little sheepish as his gaze slide to the side. "Oh. Er, yeah, I was taking a bit of a break. Sorry about that."

Technically, that had been his third "break" within the hour, but no one had to know that.

"Seren's a good guard cat though. She's kind of lazy--" Like owner, like pet, "But she gets the job done."

Drumming his fingers against the booth, he looked between all of the figures thoughtfully for a moment before reaching out to tap the spot in front of Shun to catch his attention. "Hey. You know what, I think that little joke at your expense was entertaining enough. You might as well just take this." He shoved the lunchbox forward, pausing before ducking down behind the booth. When he emerged, he dumped a couple of candies on top of the lunchbox, along with two packs of crackers and a bag of salted almonds that he had purchased from one of the festival stalls.

"And these." The fact that this guy seriously wanted his lunch--which Elliot had really just added in as a joke freebie, not expecting anyone to ask for it--seemed like a pretty clear indication that food was a big deal to him. Didn't get enough to eat, usually? He wasn't about to make assumptions, but while his family wasn't exactly well off, they had enough money to live on and still some to spare. Sacrificing a lunch and some spare snacks wasn't going to hurt Elliot too bad.

Shun gave the boy a shrug, then turned to Elliot. He blinked as the lunchbox was pushed towards him. Just as he was about to take it, he was surprised as an assortment of other foods were tossed out on top of it. Some crackers, candies and a bag of... something. He couldn't see what was inside just yet. His hand rested on top of the lunchbox as he stared at the merchant.

For a moment, he silently regarded the flower boy a little warily, not entirely certain what to make of this. Was he just being kind and generous or was there something else to it? He wasn't really accustomed to acts like this. The thing with Danny and the curry earlier was strange enough alone. But this would make the second instance in one day.

"...Thank you," he quietly said before resuming to take the goods off the counter. He didn't have an easy way to carry everything at the moment. Not for the rest of the day, at least. Shun couldn't just leave it around somewhere, though, as he'd end up losing it to someone else most likely. Letting out a sigh, he pocketed the smaller things, then tucked the box under his arm. This would do for now.
