Cursing, Anton discarded the soggy net, grabbing the last one he was allowed. "Miss, I thought you kept your nose out of other's business," he pointed out, unable to resist the clear contradiction that escaped her lips. But he was up for the job, he didn't care if she deemed him some charity case. He would take whatever she was willing to give. "I can't be too good of a guide, I'm not really from here. But I have sort of gotten a feel for the place, so I think I'd be better than nothing, I suppose. And if you give me that much money, I won't need to steal. But," he said pointing to his pockets. "I'm not giving these back." An idea popped into his head, but God he didn't want to ask her a favor, then he'd really seem like a charity case. But dammit, he couldn't do it himself. "Could I ask for one more thing? At the end of the week I wanna sign up to be a Trainee, but I'm not sure how to, exactly do all the paperwork." He didn;t want to come right out and say he couldn't read, that was shameful. "If you could, maybe, help me with that, I'd be more than willing to lead you around and carry your bags." He offered his hand out to grasp her bag.

Alec's gaze turned to the one named Shun? a concerned look on his own face for the fact he was now shoving the other boy Cyril. "This is looking like a perfect storm.." He commented thoughtfully glancing at the manger, mildly alarmed she seemed amused if not pleased by the events.
Maybe it was about time to slip out before they started getting more physical."Thanks." he added to Lenore politely about the little game, having enjoyed himself despite the noise of what was going on. All the while leaving for the door, keeping an eye on quarreling the pair.

Cyril ignored what Rikki and Danny we're saying. He didn't care about his odds nor did he believe Shun being in the military made a difference.
Gritting his teeth and gripping his shirt harder when he heard these words. He couldn't believe this guy. Cyril threw a punch driven by his angry impulse for
Shun's stomach as he let out a roar RAHHHH

Lenore gave a short wave to Alec as he left, but her attention remained on the two boys beginning to escalate their squabble. The grin widened into a small smile as one of the boys threw a punch. It was kind of like in a book, only she didn't have to imagine the fight taking place.

It was when Cyril actually threw a punch that Danny decided to step in.
Now Danny was dumb as a rock, but Danny was fast, and had good reflexes. She didn't manage to stop the punch, but she did move his arm in a way that deflected the punch towards the air, while the rest of his body was shoved into herself. It was a short speed bump, but enough to dislodge the attacker from hitting Shun, and keeping Cyril from going head first into the fish tank. On the other hand, it was probably going to give Danny a pretty bruise in the side.
"Alright, alright. Commander Shun has spoken, shut up and leave him alone," she pushed Cyril back onto his feet, so they weren't all standing there awkwardly. Danny had heard the "leave me alone" line plenty of times, so hearing one more person declare they wanted nothing to do with her was no skin off her back. "So we'll fish for goldfish right here, and you can fish for goldfish .... right there!" She pointed approximately one foot from where they were standing. A nod, as she deemed that an appropriate distance for leaving someone "alone."
She patted Cyril on the head and said, "Don't worry, if I needed to kick Shun's butt, I could! I ain't no lady!" She looked to Rikki, gesturing to the goldfish and said, "You want one, right?"

If it hadn't been so appropriate, Rikki might have applauded. It wasn't cool of Shun to be an a*****e, but it also wasn't cool to start a fight. But Danny handled it perfectly, and he was really impressed. Super impressed.
But then she asked if he wanted a fish, and he fell a little bit in love. "I really do," he said quickly. "But I don't think we can keep them."

As Cyril was pushed onto his feet he was surprised at Danny's strength.
Feeling Danny's hand pat his head all Cyril could think in his mind was "This girl really is dense isn't she?"
Cyril closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths to regain his cool. He glanced at Danny, grinned and let out a simple "Yeah, gotcha." thinking back to Danny's actions and strength. Cyril proceded to the fishing spot where he
grabbed a paper net and dipped it into the water to see what his second attempt would result in.
As Cyril dipped his net into the water he skinned a fish "Ugh so close" He remarked. Cyril was frustrated that
he couldn't catch a fish on his second try.

Danny squinted at Rikki. If there was one thing she'd learned as the daughter of a spice kingdom, it was that nothing was purchasable.
She leaned forward across the tanks to the girl who was in charge (?) and said, "Hi hi. If we win one of these fish, and I pay you a whole bunch, can we keep it?"
Once again it was time for Danny to bring out the bright eyed big smile for Lenore. Her begging face just said pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease? all over it.

Lenore thought about it for a moment. The manager never said the fish couldn't be purchased. She shrugged. "Sure. Why not? I doubt there's going to be people actually catching all of the fish, anyway."

Well that was good news. "Awesome! Hey what's your name? I'm Danny." She gave a bright smile, and would've been thumping a tail in happiness if she had one.
Looking to Rikki, she added, "Well? You heard her! Get a fish!!"
She also leaned over to Shun and whispered, "I'll get you one too if you want one ........... said the wind ...."
Smooth.

Lenore tilted her head slightly at Danny. "Would it surprise you to know my name is Harold?" It was a blatant lie, but the girl decided to go with it for laughs.

Shun saw Cyril rearing back to attack and he was ready to block the strike when Danny already stepped in to intervene. Not saying anything, he just stared between the group and pulled himself away. The temptation to retaliate was strong, but he refrained. He'd rather not get himself kicked out of the military before his papers could be processed. So, he scoffed, then moved away from the rest.
He furrowed his brow as he overheard that the fish could not be kept. It made him wonder what the purpose of this activity was, then.
A heavy sigh left him when Danny siddled over and whispered.
"I have no need for a fish. Something that small could barely be eaten even."

Rikki was pretty sure his eyes were actually sparkling. He was going to get a fish! "Hell yeah! Thank you, Danny!"
He turned to the tank and the tiny scoops and began to try catching a fish. Unfortunately, they were faster than he though. His first try was less than fruitful.
But he would do it, dammit. He was going to get a fish.
