She took comfort he was trying to allievate her fears and make her feel better, but she smiled and nudged him lightly, "Hey, I'm not scared stiff, it just startled me is all." she said reassuringly.

Edwin chuckled when she gave him a nudge, meaning she was feeling better. His tail swayed softly as he got up and offered his hand to her. "Well, since you're alright now, let's go swimming." He said, using his other hand to take off his hat and drop it lightly onto the blanket.

She watched him get up, smiling that he was smiling and she felt alot better about the whole thing. When he offered his hand and said they should go swimming, she nodded, putting her hand in his and letting him help her up, but she didn't let his hand go, letting him lead the way since he was the teacher for the day.

When she placed her hand in his, he gently helped her up onto her feet. He smiled to her more once she was up before turning and leading her back to the water. When they got to the water, he held her hand a little tighter, showing that he was there and there was nothing to be scared of as he lead her deeper into the waves.

She felt a bit nervous as they walked further into the water, but with Edwin squeezing her hand lightly, she felt reassured she would actually be able to swim on her own and not have to rely on any kind of magic to get her through.

Edwin led her far enough that they still had sand under their feet, but there was enough distance to push off and swim around if they wanted to. Stopping, he turned to her and smiled warmly. "So Kitten, are you ready?" He asked gently, still squeezing her hand lightly

She took in a deep, calming breath, letting the feeling over the moving water and Edwins hand in hers calm her down. When he asked her if she was ready, she smiled back and him and nodded, "Sure, let's see if you can make me as good as a fish in water!" she said.

He chuckled at her comment. "I'm sure you won't be that bad." He said, rubbing the back of her hand lightly with his thumb. "You want me to show you first or would you like to try by yourself first?" He asked, tail swishing in the water lightly

"How about you go first, I can still keep myself standing here, so I should be fine." she said, letting his hand go so he could demonstrate what she needed to know to learn how to swim.

"Okay." He said to her when she asked for him to show her how he swam first. With that, he kissed her forehead and gave her hand another comforting squeeze around her hand. Making sure she was alright being in deeper water by herself, he pushed off the sand. With that, he swam the breast stroke some distance away and did a few laps around her.

She felt a bit nervous as he pushed off away from her, digging her toes and feet into the sand so she wouldn't let herself be shifted by the water. She watched with curiousity and a bit of concern when he swam away from her and then around her, trying to take in his movements.

Edwin gave one more lap around her before swimming back to her side and righting himself so his feet planted on the sand. Catching his breath and pushing water out of his hair, he looked to her. "That's how it's done. You pretty much swing your arms in circles with your hands cupped and kick your legs. Make sure you don't kick with your knees, but rather, your whole leg. The most important thing is, you have to be relaxed or you won't even float." He explained to her.

Azure wished she felt as confident as he looked out in the water, he just made it seem so damn easy to do. When he explained, she listened, but started to doubt she would even be able to keep herself afloat, imaging herself sinking like a rock. "W-w-well, ok, but can you help me?" she asked.

He could see her becoming unsure and took her hand again, giving it a comforting squeeze. At her question, he gave her a warm smile. "Of course I can." He told her, leaning close and nuzzling her.

She smiled at him, glad he was being so patient with her and she nuzzled him back when, purring. Finally she took in a breath and started heading toward deeper water so she could finally make her attempt at swimming.
