PupSage Hoshigaki Hiru Iwagakure guide, basic frame. Glasses or no glasses? She'll have some personalized clothing depending on the thread but that's for the basic look. Also, what custom item do you think she could have for the Suiran Forest? I was partial to the glasses. Sort of a sexy librarian look, I almost used them on my character. Maybe camo paint and a weapon in the forest? I like them both, but I agree. The glasses really do make her look pretty smexy. xD Where do you make these avatars though? The definitely don't look like they're from Gaia...unless I'm wrong and they actually are!? (Wants to make one too emo ) Edit: Quote: Walking: 10 paces per turn. Jogging: 20 paces per turn. To be maintained, jogger must roll a Constitution Check 10 + 2 per round jogged or be forced to take a complete stop from fatigue (at east one turn). Sprinting: 20 paces per turn + d20 + Athletics. To be maintained, sprinter must pass a Constitution Check of 10 + 4 per round sprinted or be forced to take a complete stop from fatigue (at east one turn). So sprinting and jogging are the same, with 20 paces per turn? What would be the difference between them then? Edit 2: Shouldn't it be something like (in Jogging, for example).. First jog - no check Second - 10 Third - 12 Fourth - 14 ...and so on? I don't think Jogging just once would end up with a person being forced to completely stop. That would basically mean that walking two turns is the same thing as jogging once and stopping the next, since you're only walking 20 total. What do you all think? ....Or is that what you meant when you said 'to be maintained'? (Suddenly feels like an idiot rolleyes )

(Suddenly feels like an idiot rolleyes ) For the edit, the base is on gaia avatars but I edit most of the clothes and equipment either from scratch or by modifying existing items. Using Photoshop actually isn't that hard (for the basic stuff) when you get the hang of it! wink And no, sprinting is 20 paces + [d20] paces + [Athletics] paces. So you need to roll1d20 and calculate the total value to see how many paces you covered, the group is only 50 paces away. EDIT: For having to stop completely, maybe putting a constitution check on the first roll is too harsh? Or the basic con DC could be lower? OR instead of forcing you to stop completely it could force you only to enter a walking pace?

Think we'll try having beasts not have taijutsu skill. It kinda makes sense doesn't it?

Hoshigaki Hiru Think we'll try having beasts not have taijutsu skill. It kinda makes sense doesn't it? Eh, some animals have tactics, others don't. Like the bear would be brute strength, the wolf would have some skill, the puma should have a bit, and the sasquatch should be a 5 stripe black belt and master of brazillion jujitsu. <.< >.>

Hoshigaki Hiru Think we'll try having beasts not have taijutsu skill. It kinda makes sense doesn't it? Hey Hiru ... level 10s get 2 actions ... and initiative kicks in after surprise round ... so why does the puma get 3 actions? Grappling + 1 action Then initiative.

Would we call it taijutsu? "Feral Combat" ?

I liked the no-glasses purely because I didn't want it to be the kind of stereotypical "glasses guide" kind of thing XD I thought a ditzy(-looking) yet good at what she does guide would be cute! But am in the minority I guess XD
edit: can one block grapples?

Hoshigaki Hiru Think we'll try having beasts not have taijutsu skill. It kinda makes sense doesn't it? "Taijutsu - feral combat" sounds good to me. xD Hiru, I think we should knock off the Con DC for the first sprint, then add per extra round. if it's 14 for the first check, we might not be able to sprint at all the first time Dx Edit: This manga style is so hard to get used to... crying

Edit: but won't this make people sprint on post than stop. Then sprint another posts than stop? Trying to calculate the number of paces travaelled that would make. Or, we start the DC at 0 and then go up from there?
