 Yawning loudly he started to trot toward the forest. His bells making quite a bit of noise. It never bothered him but he doubted that Ion had thought that through all the way given how much noise he made. He supposed the others would fan out and he might be bait for some intruder but that that was about the only way the bright colored fox was going to be useful in a forest when he was a bright as he was and his bells made as much noise as they did. More than likely though they would find nothing and it wouldn’t be that big of deal. After all it never was. and even if they found another fox they might just be lost or friendly. That was a good possibility wasn’t it? He didn’t really feel any sense of urgency but that wasn’t new. Persimmon never really did.

 Quite the opposite of the slacker fox the brown vixen was ready to go. She knew full well that a stranger may be friendly as he herself had been, or they could be looking to take over the land as it was decent hunting and good to rest in. Ears up at attention she started forward glancing back only once to see who was with her. Really it didn’t matter she would go alone if she had to. There was going to be nothing to stop her if she put her mind to it. If she could scare the big tribe guardian when she wanted to then she doubted a deava would be too much trouble though she had never really taken one on before. That actually sounded fun in a way. Dangerous, stupid but fun none the less. She wondered if it was a single fox or more then one.

 Feeling this whole thing was a waste of time Mel started out with a nod to anyone who was coming with him. The forest was likely were something was going to be found in his mind. Or the caves. Who would be stupid enough to go hiding in the plains near a tribe if they didn’t want to be found? Of course there had been several mutilated deer carcasses in the plains but some of those looked like they had been dropped there. “So if there is a threat one of us should come back and get help. I’d rather not end up half burned and dead.” His tone was flat and he was quite serious. He wasn’t much on the idea of picking a fight he couldn’t win but he felt he would have to protect his tribe mates if it came to a fight. The fact the foreign fox might be friendly never once crossed his mind. Anyone who could do that to prey was likely not a kind fox.

 Seth’s face was impassive which was a change from her normal smile. She was thinking Ion should put more effort to finding Ver. There were more than enough foxes that a group could be assembled to find the guardian. Still she supposed that was her being overprotective as she viewed Ver as a child in many aspects. Not only that but those venturing out in groups would be safer in a larger number as well as they did have a chance to find Ver as well. Her tail curled gently as she thought. She would let Ion make his choices and while they were not the same as the ones she would make she would not falt the young male for them. “Well then” She pasted on a quick smile. “Lets go splunking! Who is with me?”

Time skip! as the shop reopens (Snow day. Ion is kicking everyone outside for some exercise in the snow. time to brush off a few muses)  A soft wind tickled the foxes who were at the entrance of the caves Ion knew it was cloudy enough he could head out but he was feeling rather malaise as though he had slept to long and found it hard to get up. Perhaps it was just one of ‘those’ days. The season had changed and there was a light coating of snow all over the land. Even the tribe guardian was lounging about seemingly half asleep. He knew he needed to do something to help get some activity in the tribe today as it had felt as though nothing had happened for far to long with the snow and cold. He closed his eyes and tried to think of a practical need to be done. He hummed softly while thinking. Fighting back a yawn with no success he forced himself to stand up. He moved about until he found what he was after. “Lakita. We are doing ok for food but it might be nice to have a few extra ra… bits of prey” He still winced internally at the idea of saying rabbit in front of the cute little rabbit like fox. Still if there was anyone who would spread word of a hunt out fast it was going to be her . “It would be good if thee were to roust a few others up and out into the snow to go hunting. Of course that means even lazy foxes like myself because if something is not done sooner or latter we will all turn to fat piles of fluff with no muscle to speak of.” A rueful smile crossed his face and he wondered if they would catch anything in the snow since it was more likely there would only be small game out this time of day. Still something was better then nothing and who knows perhaps the more knowledgeable members of the tribe who knew plants might have a few surprises they could dig up and bring home as well. “Of course those who would rather stay and play in the snow are free to do so as well. Either way it would be good to have some activity today.” He was counting on her to go inform the other tribe members so he hoped she would be able to find and let the others know quickly. (for those who want to go hunting roll a D10. An 8,9, or 10 will be success when hunting and your fox caught some small game For those who want to play in the snow roll a d20. 15 or greater you guys can peg each other with snowballs or build the perfect snowfox or whatever you are after)

 Andi let out a groan as she was nudged out of the warm den she resided in. She despised the cold. She mumbled to herself and shot dirty glances to those actually enjoying the cold. This was nonsense. She retreated only for a thick fabric to be wrapped around her neck and nudged right back outside. She pouted a bit before her eyes drifted to a large pile of snow. She grinned as she packed it into a ball and took aim at Ion. Perhaps if he was the target of an unrelenting assault of snowballs he'd give up making everyone be outside.

 Lakita bounced around when Ion started moving. "On it, Da..Ion." She loved hunting and practiced as often as she could. She ran around everyone, kicking up snow where she could. "Let's go, foxes!" She jumped on a tail, attempting to having someone go out with her. Some of the others might have looked at her, shaking their heads at such antics when she was suppose to be older then she looked. Lakita didn't let it bother her, though, she was having fun and would continue doing so.

The crack to the side of the head with a snowball when he stepped out to get some exercise himself was really something that he should have expected. He twisted and shook trying to brush the snow out of his collar which only made it slip inside and he regretted his choice to let the tribe members play in the snow if they wanted to. Ruby eyes scanned and found Andi looking rather smug. "Nicely played." He waved a paw trying to settle down though that snowball had certainly woken him up. "We'll be off hunting I trust you can handle things to keep other exercising Andi? After all it's been to long since others have been out and should enjoy this light snow before tis gone." With that he was going to go off to hunt. Lakita had already darted off the smaller fox was a wild tempest of energy and he would feel bad were she the only one hunting to help provide for the tribe. (Edit: ha ha I'm dying Lakita gets food and Ion gets nothing. HA)

 Li had been a new join to the tribe and was still trying to get used to things though the tribe seemed rather laid back. She stepped out of the cave and her eyes wandered around. She had come to find a place to stay and ended up enjoying the scenery enough to stay for a while. She didn't feel like hunting but was still supposed to be in the cold? That was stupid still she supposed it was a kind of tribe activity. She started to roll a small snowball between her paws she wasn't sure if she should toss the snowball or build a snowfox. Seeing one of the other phims in the tribe she figured why not and took aim and launched the snowball not really trying to hit the other but still thinking some fun might be worth it.

 Sky was gliding about in the sky, keeping an eye out for anything. As he was going over the entrance, his eyes caught sight of a quick little kit. "So little Lakita is up and waking the rest." Knowing how the perma kit was, the phim decided to keep an eye on her. Following as a cloud, Sky Chaser became a bit worried when the kit went after something a little bit bigger than she was. Diving down, he was happy to see she got it with not a hair out of place on her head. "Great job, Lakita!" He landed on a branch with a bunch of snow, close to the kit.

 Illay sat up and stretched. He could feel his body already wanting the feeling of warm weather to start up. Eyeing the group moving around, he thought about going out to see if anything was available. Stepping outside, changed his mind. There wouldn't be anything he would be able to find, besides what they already had.  SiLiKee looked through her stuff. Nothing was really needed at the moment and any herbs wouldn't be ready until the spring was well under way. With quick paws, she went to the entrance and started laughing. It was too funny to see Ion getting hit with a snowball. She looked around at the rest of the tribe, noting the male 'phim gliding above. He was too far away to do anything, so she went for the next closest, which just happened to be Illay.

 Astharoshe smiled flying over the phim and kit. The male phim was keeping an eye on things just in case someone needed help. Good on him. It was that eye for detail that made him a good scout in her mind. She kept flying and watched the tribe elder try for a deer and miss horribly. She checked back a laugh and kept flying she was going to try for prey a bit further out since she could fly further and the cold didn’t really bother her at all. She saw a rather fat raccoon that must have been woken up as it was moving through the trees. She did a flying tackle off the branch biting hard to catch her prey. she had success.

 Altic lifted her foot and shivered in the snow. It was fun! It was chilly but pretty. Jittery she moved about hopping in the snow her ears twitching excitedly. Her mother was far less enthused then her but still seemed ready to go. Smiling at her mother she said they should build a snow tower. When her mother looked like she was going to hunting Altic sat perfectly poised and held a snowball in her front paws like it was an offering. Of course what mother could resist that? She smiled as her mother moved to play with her.  She felt a little old to be building a snow tower but she supposed it wasn’t a bad thing to be kit like every now and then after all she could go hunting after. Altic really seemed to like the snow. Armily was glad she was happy and really didn’t care if the weather was warm or cold. It was all the same to her. “SiLiKee, Andi care to join in? We are building a snow tower.” She waved at the other two foxes as they seemed like they were glad to play in the snow. If they wanted to snow fight that was fine as well. Illay she almost called but he just got hit with a snowball so might want to get vengeance and if a tumble broke out she didn’t the snow tower to be torn down.

Time skip! as well it's now the fall season and I'd like to give you falling leaves before playing with snow again.  Ion looked around wondering where summer had gone. It seemed like just yesterday the last grips of snow had been clinging to their land and now the fall season was fast approaching. The small tribe had welcomed in new members by virtue of them being born to the tribe and Chandra had come back with a whole family. It was a shocking surprise to say the least. He moved back into the cave ready to take it easy for a time and get some rest. The sun was coming up and the foxes who were headed to the cave to wind down and sleep were being passed by those who favored the light of the sun. “Be well. Be safe. Find us if required.” The small general greetings he was giving as he was going to go rest we passed along to the others. He knew Seth was planning some sort of weaving to make baskets to catch fish in the river across the plains and there were a fair few foxes who were gathering long stored foods for winter and of course the delicacy of gathering foods for a short small feast as the harvest festival would soon be upon them. He really did want to find a way to make that special for his tribe. Perhaps he could do something this year he could not before? Though what he could not think.

SiLiKee wandered into the cave. Time to pass the watching on to the dayshift, not that she wasn't willing to keep helping if needed. There wasn't much to say for the switch over anyways, which was nice. Sky Chaser uncurled his wings and looked around. He was sure Lakita would be around, wouldn't be the first time the kit pounced on any of them to wake up. Not seeing her he stood up and shook out his feathers. One feather floated down, landing on another in the cave. Sky forgot that he was sleeping a little higher then the kit, he hoped, would be able to climb up to. "Time to go see if there are any trying to sneak into the area, if they studied our shifts."
