With a wary eye around the room X walked in, clutching her neon green pillow to her chest. Cerulean eyes darted this way and that as she cautiously made her way to an unobtrusive spot, happy just to observe the comings and goings of the slumber party with a small smile. With a little tug to her shin-length grey nightgown she tilted her head. "I wonder if there's food anywhere..." She muttered aloud to herself.

She quietly gazed at the woman that has responded to her, seemingly lost in thought. After a few seconds she then spoke,"What about games?" "Such as truth or dare, or spin the bottle, or some other fun little harmless game," she elaborated with a small smile. "Or we could decide to act girly and give everybody makeovers," she said with a larger, slightly mischievous smile.

Adelaide peered over, and was surprised to see stars. "Is it nighttime alre--" A second glance made her notice that there was literally a living person made of stars at her slumber party. "Um-- hello, person of the night. You are welcome to anything we have here, the fridge is open, of course. " She tried not to scream or flail or anything because no one else seemed to find it odd, instead downing the last of the wine in her bottle. She'd have to get a refill soon... though she was starting to feel the effects, particularly noticeably.
"Those all sound--interesting, so long as someone is willing to explain the way the games work. I am afraid to admit that I've never had a slumber party before." And then she paused at the suggestion of a makeover, "... those aren't expensive right? Just hair and nails or something?"

X looked up with a surprised expression and then smiled. "Thank you. That is very gracious of you....And thank you for hosting this event." The smile widened and she gave a small bow. "I am X. Pleasure to meet you."

Sciurus frowned at the woman's blatant alcoholism. Did she expect the night to go that badly? It hadn't even started yet. "Fair enough...I don't want anything polluted. Though it's only fair I warn you as a surgeon, one should not take matters of alcoholism or liver disease lightly. We only have one body -even with me around-. It should be treated respectfully." Although, if she did end up needing a new liver, he did have some saved from the leprechaun's farm.

It seemed the party was already in flow when he arrived, "Did you really expect to through a slumber party and I wouldn't catch wind of it?" Prince Xavier posed aloud, although he was unsure if they fell on the intended ears. Truth be told, he was slightly nervous about being in the same room as his ex-wife being that he hadn't done so since they had parted ways but there were plenty of people here to make the encounter as easy as possible.
He took off his cloak and rested it with everyone elses coats, although Prince Xavier, unlike some of the other guests it seemed, would not be stripping down into pyjamas - mostly because he didn't actually own any. "So what are we going for tonight? I hope the more traditional activities like pillow fights and truth or dare?"

"My name is Adelaide, but... you probably heard that already." Awkwardly rubbing the back of her head with one hand, she toyed with a lock of hair nervously. "If you aren't already aware, I would probably avoid some people here. They tend to be all," and here she gestured with her empty bottle, "stab-stab, if you catch my meaning. I'd hate to see you get stabbed; you're really pretty. And pretty nice."
Adelaide eyed him nervously from over her empty bottle of wine, "It's only fair I warn you that I'm likely to die of being stabbed before I die of liver failure." She paused, "Actually, I can guarantee you I will die before liver failure sets in." Oddly enough, she felt fine so far... Perhaps a little flushed, but that didn't mean her judgement was impaired, right?
Adelaide looked over, startling noticeably, "Woah! I like you already! Feel free to make yourself comfortable, just... watch for stabby-stabbing. Some of the guests are not so nice."
For Adelaide, time almost seemed to stand still when she heard his voice. Nervously, she tugged the shirt closer to herself, pressing the collar against her skin in an attempt to soothe herself. What the hell was her ex-husband doing here? But, she wouldn't kick him out: she was above that, or so she liked to think.
"Xavier," she called, feeling a sudden burst of confidence, and planted her feet firmly where she was. "Thanks for not wearing your traditional pajamas---" and suddenly, before she could bite her tongue, "--- since I guess it was too much to ask you to buy some." Oh. Did she actually just say that?

Some of the guests are not so nice." *Volt jumps a little, nervous for having been spotted, but perks up quickly enough. She floats over happily and gives the girl the bag of gummy bears.*
"Ah, thank you! Wait, did you say stabbing?" o.o'
"...someone tell me this is like one of those Who-Done-It? theme parties..." e.e;

With a smile on her face, she set the bottle down, and went to snack on some delicious gummy bears, "Thank you, very much. I appreciate it." Anon Caedere "Right," Cae said, not even trying to be convincing. Whoever this new guest was, she'd learn about Cae's violent tendencies sooner or later. "Phew!"Volt sighed, perfectly content to believe exactly what she wanted to hear. Dropping her guard she relinquished the gummy bears and flew further into the room, looking around, seeing who else was there. There seemed to be about nine others circulating throughout the house, a few of which she recognized. She waved happily to X and Charming, a friendly blush warming her cheeks.

"Sure, they're simple rules to follow," she said with a nod, not worrying about the woman mentioning never being at a slumber party before. "And of course they're not expensive, hair, nails, maybe some makeup."

You are welcome my good sir... His voice drifted off as more and more people enter the room. Von-Max sighed as things began to become more chaotic. He hunkered back into the corner of the wall as far as he could. Seeing the young lady's smile and rosy cheeks made him winced in agony. Closing his over sized eyes, Von-Max reaches up into the hidden inside pocket of his jacket pulling out a tiny yellow scarf. With a flick of his wrist he waves it up and down a few times before tossing it above his head into the air in front of him. Uttering the words aloud, "Forte De Expunse!" During the time he spoke the magic words and while the scarf seemed to be in slow motion, Von-Max melted into the corner wall he was squeezing himself against. By the time the scarf hit the ground, he had completely emerged himself and disappeared.

"I...yes." She said, giving Adelaide a hard look. That was a strange way of greeting, even if her murder had been the first time they met. "No, we did figure out who did it. And then there were dragons and a few spells and now here we are. Doing...this"
She shrugged and snuggled down into a pile of pillows.
"Truth or dare sounds fun...although I'm not sure wise with the present mix of company. Make-overs might be safer, so long as Cae promises not to make over anyone's skin with extra holes." Minty favored the murderess with a glance, she had intended to make sure Cae didn't find any new human sheaths for her knife, tonight anyways.
((Uh...I have no idea what the quoting edicate in here is anymore...so I guess if you want to bother Minty, quote me?))
