"Lei Ocean? Buhahahahahaha"

Hiro laughed historically, slamming his fist on King's desk, making one of the legs crack! One more hit, and the already awkwardly placed desk would give in!

"Thats better than ********. Dear god, King, this is what a real funny guy is like. An a*****e with a smile!"

Hiro patted Salem right back, giving him a friendly nod.

"Good luck to you tonight as well, bud. I know I got one helluva challenge with you tonight...Hopefully I got something within me to show you that the ship hasn't sailed for me just yet!"

Matt was utterly confused when Salem pushed past him and walked into his office without so much as a word. He turned to give the man a glare, only to spot him stapling his stack of papers with that toy snake? Well, that's an interesting development.

After Salem left, he turned his head back up to look at Brody, offering the man a confused shrug. "I dunno, but it took care of the job," he paused once more to call out to King once again, oblivious to the exchanges going on in the tent. "DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT, KING! OUR COMPETENT WORLD CHAMPION TOOK CARE OF IT. THANKS FOR NOTHING!"

Salem was a smartass, and he knew it. But that didn't mean he couldn't share a laugh with a friend before they came to blows with one another, a sentiment Hiro apparently shared. As the two exchanged pleasantries, Salem's eyes glinted with fire as his challenger spoke of what gas he had left in the tank, speculating on his hopes of walking away tonight the BBW World Champion. Chuckling, Croft nodded knowingly, acknowledging the passion his mate and mentor had for both the business and their friendship. Sometimes, good friends made better rivals, and something in Salem's heart said tonight would prove to be another example of such as he formulated a response to Hiro's comment.

"Heh. I don't have any doubt that you can still run the ropes, bro. But I don't need luck...see, I don't get prepared, I stay prepared, Hiro. You and I, we've had our dealings in the past, and you've always managed to bring out the best in me - whether it was my live promos on G-Fed Talk Radio that got me noticed, or the fact that beating you made me contender to the first title I ever held in professional wrestling, back in WWE:E. If not for you, I may never have had the match of a lifetime with Freakshow back in LWL, though the way things have been developing recently, that may not have been a bad thing for my career...but one thing I do know, if it weren't for you, I might not be standing where I am, today. Just know, Hiro..." Salem said, his voice quietening a touch as he seemed to slither a few inches closer, the grass not seeming to move underneath his feet as he approached Hiro by half a step...a measure of distance made longer by the presence that fell off the world champion as he stood so resolutely sure of himself, the title gleaming over his arm.

"...I'm a different kind of animal, now. We're friends, but don't expect any favors in that ring, tonight...if you, if anyone thinks they can come out to that ring and take this title away from me, expect to learn why they say 'Once bitten, twice shy'."

Cocking an eyebrow, the challenger looked down, avoiding the glance of both Salem, and King. He suddenly shot back up at Salem, a look in Hiro's eyes of pure passion and determination.

"I live my life now with no fear. Salem, when we are out there, I can't wait to show you really just how well I still run the ropes. There will be no way you can keep up with me...Because snakes aint got feet, but I surely can lend you my boots after Im finished stomping you into the ground."

Again, a smirk. Hiro patted the champion on the shoulder and left the tent, walking his way out into the darkness of the park, away from where the action was taking place. He had a little more preparation to attend to.

Salem couldn't help but find himself slightly amused by Hiro's bravado, refreshed at hearing someone actually take verbal jabs at him rather than physical ones. As Hiro talked about the virtues of experience and how he'd use his boots to stomp Croft into the ground, "The Copperhead" recalled another 'veteran' who thought they knew how to fight pretty well. The British Army, during the Revolutionary War. That was a time of change, of new ideas and fresh faces leading people towards a new, brighter future. But like the British, Hiro looked to make use of his age as a factor in what would be the outcome of tonight's main event. To Hiro, Salem had something to prove, but the same sentiment was reciprocated by the world champion - an age-old slogan coming to mind as Mr. Shin-Mozas took his leave and exited the tent to prepare for their later encounter.

"Don't tread on me, Hiro." Salem mused aloud, looking on as his opponent vanished across the field before glancing back at King with another polite nod, making his way out, as well.

King sat there at the table, as people passively aggressively argued back and forth in front of him. Mentally, he kept himself from snapping even though he really wanted to, until the two wrestlers finally left his tent and he held onto the stapler. "What the ******** was that all about? These prima-donnas I swear. One of these days, they're gonna get slapped in the face by the big c**k of reality."

While it seemed that the commotion in Kelly King's tent had settled, the sibling pair of Dallas Cruz and Marshall Lee were approaching the said tent. By the look on Marshall's handsome face, it was obvious he had a bone to pick with the Head of Talent Relations. What happened the previous show was an injustice, and he'll be damned if it were going to go unnoticed by the head honchos.

As the duo reached the tent, Marshall leaned over to peer in to see if King was accepting anymore visits. Due to the angle he was standing in and how the light was hitting him, his eyes gave off a rather eerie, inhuman feline glow. "Knock knock!" he called out, with Dallas also peering in around him. "May we have a word with you?" The reason he didn't just barge right in, is due to the myth that vampires could not enter a human's home or residence without an invitation. Even if he wanted to, Marshall would just have to wait until he was accepted in. Dallas, on the other hand, could have just walked right in, but figured it would be impolite to her brother if she did.

2.0 looked up from his laptop, which was the best he could do considering the fact that he had a TENT and no electrical outlets or generators, to see Marshall and Dall-- oh dear. King straightened his back and perked up, eyes slightly wider than normal, as the chair creaked and he leaned away from the entrance. The glow from the computer screen lit up his face more than the lantern hanging from the cradle of the tent roof. "Well uh... Yeah. Sure. Come on in." King gestured, as he flipped his computer lid over and backwards, so the screen was resting inverted atop the keyboard, revealing that it was a tablet-laptop combo.

"What can I do you for?"

Marshall motioned for his sister to enter first, as he was a gentlemen and ladies always went first, before following right after her. As they took their sits in front of King's rather fancy looking desk, they couldn't help but to exchange looks at how shabby the tent was and how out of place the desk looked. Marshall chuckled and said teasingly, "Damn man, did you piss Shanahan off or something?" Dallas' lips turned up into a bit of a smirk as she leaned back in her chair and crossed a long leg over the other. Unlike Marshall who was wearing his tights and his band t-shirt, Dallas was dressed more casually, choosing a long sleeve top, her jeans and rather long boots.

Shifting her attention from Marshall to Kelly King, she opened her mouth to speak, "We're here to discuss the unfortunate incident with that Jack Sparrow wanna-be. You know, last show....when Marshall and I were supposed to have our grand moment." After she said this, Marshall nodded in agreement, "Yeah, I mean, you did see what happened right? We haven't been seen for over two years and we come back to this? A drunk interrupting me, taking up MY time? Stealing MY spotlight. Talk about mad disrespect. We don't even know the guy and he comes out picking on my baby sister for no reason."

Dallas spoke up once again, "I hope you're planning on setting him straight. Else we'd be forced to take matters into our own hands." While her voice was calm and collected, there was a hint of slyness in the way she spoke.

King listened to the two state their case, his eyes on Dallas anytime that Marshall wasn't speaking, as the man had a tendency to call attention to himself when he opened his mouth. Not only because of his words, but also because of his teeth. King stayed leaned back in his chair. His hand came up and he brushed his nose quickly before crossing his arms across his chest. He looked down at his tablet and grabbed it from the desk top. With a couple of swift touches on the pad, he pulled up a YouTube video, and put the tablet back down on the desk. It was not a sign of disrespect, as he actually pushed it so that the siblings could see it.

The screen displayed a fan's montage of all of the different hype videos, promos, and easter eggs that had involved the pre-amble to Dallas and Marshall's debut last week. He said nothing, as he just looked at them, gauging for a reaction, and luckily removing the glare of the screen from his face, so that it could not betray his reddening cheeks.

Both siblings simply watched the video that King had put up for them, a little surprised that this was the answer he had given them. At first, Marshall had assumed he was just going to ignore their questions and just watch his video. How rude. Gladly, this was not the case.

As the video played, reminding them of all the shenanigans they have pulled before their arrival, Dallas and Marshall exchanged looks. Marshall rubbed his rather stubbly cheeks with his hand before saying,"We get it, you have a new laptop, it's very pretty. What does this have to do with anything?"

Dallas shook her head slightly at her brother before turning King, "What exactly are you getting at, Kelly?" Whether or not she as even allowed to call him by his first name was beyond her, but she did it anyways.

2.0 raised his eyebrow at Dallas, who addressed him by only his first name. This was not common of anyone. King's arm swept out and retrieved the tablet to his side of the desk again as he grinned very slightly at the talented tricksters. "Let me ask you both something. You come to BBW, and you stir up a lot of chaos. On the list of the most hyped people in the company, your tandem is among the top three. Just above the House and just below the Champ. For weeks on end you spraypainted, you trashed, you wrecked, and you even terrified on at least one occasion. And on that point, comes my question; When you finally stepped out in front of the world and re-introduced yourselves... after all that hype... in the world of Professional Wrestling... what exactly did you think was going to happen?"

King leaned over the desk now, daring to parlay a slightly more ballsy and cocky glance at Dallas and Marshall. Both of his eyebrows raised now, and he licked his lips before biting down on the bottom one. He waited a moment for their response, but he continued to talk before they actually could. "That you would just walk out? Say your peace? And leave? Are you really that surprised? What happened happened, and couldn't have happened any other way."

Both hushed up after that, now fully understanding what he was trying to say to them. He did have a point, a very good point at that. Dallas, after running her hand through her choppy duo-colored hair, was the first to speak, "Well...yeah, but-"

She was cut off by Marshall, who leaned forward in his chair, "Okay...alright, point taken. But are you just going to let this slide? He attacked us, unprovoked. I got a bottle smashed over my head and my sister got kicked in the stomach. You ever been kicked in the stomach? I'm sure you have and I'm sure you didn't like it one bit, huh?" He turned to Dallas and the two exchanged a look before he turned back to the man behind the desk, "Come on, man. Throw us a bone here. At least give me the satisfaction that Captain Numbnuts is gonna get what's coming to him. An eye for an eye, right?" He turned to his sister, "Am I right?" She only nodded in response before turning to King, eyeing him for his answer.

PostPosted: Sat Apr 05, 2014 3:08 pm

"Listen, I will agree, that the attack was uncalled for. As have been many many many many many many many many... many many many... manymanymany attacks on people in BBW so far. Dallas, I am sorry you got kicked in the stomach. But you're a big girl, I have confidence that you'll live. You can take a lot more than a kick to the stomach. I imagine. I mean have imagined. I mean have seen. You know what I mean!" He said, the last few statements seeming rushed and flustered. He pushed his chair back from his desk and stood up, turning his back to them so that he could collect his thoughts and compose himself. He coughed into his fist, clearing his throat.

"Sounds like you three have differences, and differences are settled in the ring. Captain Numbnuts versus Marshall Lee seems to be the only way we can settle this. Will that satiate your desire for his punishment?"

Dallas couldn't help but to smirk and chuckle a little as King seemed to stumble and stammer over his words. It was actually kinda cute. Even Marshall smirked a little at the response. "I suppose you're right. I'll forgive, but I'm not going to forget. No, sir." Marshall reached over and patted his sister's arm reassuringly. The duo made eye contact, before nodding to the other, accepting the terms they had been presented. "...Yeah, actually....that's exactly what I want."

His lips turned upwards into a grin, giving him a full view of the two long fangs. "So, you're giving me the okay to hurt this guy, right? Anything I want and I won't be held liable for it?"
