Thalassa blinked at the Wraik, going on about kicking Wraik butts. The more she watched him interact with the cat-like Wini, the more she wondered if he was just dumb or really oblivious to the fact he was a Wraik too...she sighed and decided to ignore him, which was tough considering he kept yelling. "Thalassa," she mutters at the question of her name, before staring around at the other Wini going on about patience and planning and she heard herself say "Blah blah blah, who cares how many there are! They need to be taught a lesson! Where are they? Not here, so why stay and discuss things? The longer we wait, the further away they are getting." Meanwhile, at the clearing's tree-line, mostly hidden behind one of the trees, Dylara watched. She hasn't been in the group of the wrecking Wraik but it had been a beautiful sight to behold. She merely watched from a distance, as the Winiko and...apparently another Wraik?...argued about what to do. She chuckled lowly to herself, eyes narrowing in glee at the chaos.

Raik pulled his head up from the ground and grinned at Takuto. "Yeah, Takuto, you can help!" he said.
He then heard the purple Wini-- Thalassa?-- say something about the bad guys getting farther away. "Hey, yeah, Thalassa's right!" He said thoughtfully, "If we don't get movin', we'll never find 'em." He turned to face Thalassa, I say we start lookin'! Which direction, Thalassa? Impetua looked at Raik and Thalassa in exasperation. "Fine!" she snapped, "You two knuckle-heads run along and run into trees. Unless you figure out where the Wraik went, you're just going to be wandering around in circles!"

This was supposed to have been a nice, pleasant, entertaining outing.
Why did everything always have to go wrong?
Okay, perhaps not everything or always, but this wasn't the sort of thing Dyani had had in mind for today when she'd agreed to bring Moki out to the party. When the sky had begun to darken, she'd felt a flicker of the old fear return...Wraiks! The mere sight of them stomping into the party as if they owned the place was enough to send shivers up the elder's spine. Yet, another instinct had warred with that fear; the instinct to protect her little ones. Though they made no move towards any of the Winiko present, Dyani had swiftly placed herself between the intruders and her offspring. She could not hide her sigh of relief when the beasts had vanished from the area.
It was only belatedly that she'd noticed their host had disappeared with them.
Moki had been fascinated by all the bright colors and energy of all the Winiko about, but he was equally entranced when the sky darkened and his mother suddenly seemed to grow tense, hovering over him like a protective cover from an incoming storm. What was going on? Who were these new demons? Why--woah, where'd they go?
Spotting a familiar face, Moki bounded over towards his sister and a strange orange Wini who while larger than her, was still far, FAR smaller than their mom and dad. "Faaaaawn!" Inadvertently, he nearly bowled her over before he managed to skid to a stop. "Whatcha' dooooooin'?" He hadn't seemed to pick up on his mother's worry, thinking maybe this was how all parties went. Visibly relieved that her children were at least sticking together now, Dyani cast a cursory gaze over the orange Winiko that was also standing nearby. He reminded her a bit of one of Aponi's offspring...similar in size at least. Still, he seemed to be keeping her daughter out of trouble at the moment. For that, she was grateful. The elder kept watch over her children from a distance while also keeping an ear out for anyone who knew more about what was going on.

Uaithne Uaithne chuckled, "I guess so little Fawn. Now, why don't we..." he jolted harshly at the sudden blur of another youngling barreling into Fawn. The male blinked rapidly never moving from his laying down pose. He was more worried for Fawn. He blinked feeling...eyes. He looked up at the....big. Holy crap was she big, Wini watching him not too far away. Uh oh...that must be Mama. He so hoped she wasn't going to approach, anything bigger than him made him nervous. Living with something not entirely human does that for a Wini. He looked back down at the pair of, he now safely assumed, siblings. [[OOC: cute moment achieved!!! ]][

Two pairs of glowing white eyes appeared subtly as she stepped from the darkness of the treeline like a living shadow. Fools, the lot of them. She watched the increasing chaos with some amusement, but a part of her couldn't help but note that if she'd been in charge of things, she'd have been able to be in and out, grab that bunny-eared twit without anyone else noticing a thing.
Perhaps all the fanfare was for some other purpose.
It was certainly stirring up a lot of anxiety among the Winiko. That was always entertaining. And it was always easier to get away with things in the midst of chaos.
A greyish-green form lounged in the undergrowth, watching with lazy golden eyes. She seemed far more laid-back than her companion, who seemed as if coiled with energy, ready to strike. Instead, Abeytu merely yawned and looked on. "So...you planning to do something or what?" She ignored the glare she received in reply, rolling her eyes. "Just sayin'. I'm perfectly fine with staying right here and watching."
She stretched and yawned again, folding her front paws over one another. Despite seeming quite aloof and oblivious, she added idly, "By the way, we're not alone here."

Lailani, who had spoken up to back him up, gave Morty some relief. At least someone isn't diving head first into something that might be way over their heads. "We have to go about this logically. It could be dangerous." Morty addressed his concern towards Thalassa and Raik, the two who seemed more than enthusiastic to do a good butt kicking.
"If we are looking for clues, we should spread out into smaller groups and search the area. Raik, would you mind looking up in the trees or at the sky to see if there are any signs of a way to get to where the kidnappers have gone?" Morty suggested. Raik was the only one at the party with wings and he assumed there would be signs of what made the storm come. "They could have gone through to the in between and reappeared somewhere else." Though he rarely remembered a storm making his entrances every time he reappeared from the in between. Morty felt that it would be a good place to start.

Raik stared at Mordecai. "Waddaya mean "in the sky"? Can I FLY?! " He cranked his head around and stared at his wings. He honestly had no idea whether they were decorative or actually worked. He'd never thought to try them out before-- all his playmates were always on the ground.[OOC: I have no idea either; CAN Raik fly?] Impetua facepalmed. Raik was.... ugh. Just ugh.
She looked at Mordecai with a bit of relief. At least he was giving Raik something to do other than headbutt trees. Even if that "something" involved him figuring out what he was and how he worked. She paused for a moment, "The In-Between? What's that?"
Suddenly the wind changed direction. Imp sniffed. Turning towards the treeline, she focused on one particular area. "There are some visitors here," she observed coolly. "Raik, instead of contemplating your body, go check out who our guests are."Raik flapped his wings a little experimentally. "Kay, fine" he grumbled at Imp. He turned and stalked over toward the woods. He could sort of smell whoever-it-was that Imp was talking about, but he wasn't usually very attentive to his sense of smell.Teigra [OOC: And that's for Venetia and Abeytu...] Sinbari [OOC: Or Dylara. Lilliana walked around some more as she continued to search for clues. She had no idea what she was looking for but maybe she would find something useful and if she did she would go and tell the others who were in a group. That way they could pool their information and have a better chance of finding something. Takuto relaxed and smiled at Raik as the guy said he could help out. "Thank you." He really wanted to help out and figure out where they wraiks had gone and what they had done. He didn't like that they had just appeared and then disappeared after causing so much destruction. He tilted his head as they spoke more. Which way would be best to go? He had no idea but maybe they should look for clues and follow that to see where they went. He watched the big green winiko as the elder spoke and smiled that sounded good to him. He liked logic it made sense and he didn't want anyone to get hurt. He looked around and walked closer to the group. He didn't see anything that seemed to be a clue but he waited to see what would happen. If everyone would spilt up or if they would go places in teams. He looked at Raik and then he looked at the black winiko as it spoke. He wanted to know what the in between was too. He lifted his head up and sniffed the air as he continued to scan the area around them.

Thalassa sighed at all the talk. "I'm not talking about running off randomly, I agree they went to the inbetween, but who says they're not still there??" It was her youth talking, she hadn't been around during the war and she got her gung-ho attitude from one of her fathers, Tatsu. Who had the scars to prove how headstrong HE was. "I'm not scared of some scrawny Wraik, magic or no magic!" As Impetua turned to the treeline however, and said she smelled company, she turned her head that way, and peered. She was tired of all the discussion and as much as she wasn't a fan of this Raik guy, the thought of investigating this was more appealing than listening to all the fuddy-duddies here. Sighing, she looked at the group of Winiko and said "You guys keep talking and planning.... I'll be right back." She turned and called after the brown Wraik as he headed for the trees. "Wait up, I'll come with you!" Dylara was watching when she heard something; perhaps a quiet voice nearby. She sniffed at the air a bit and meandered in the direction she thought the sounds and scents were coming from, still trying to remain hidden from the Winiko a ways away, and neared the other pair of Wraiks in hiding about the time Abeytu commented they were not alone. And it was at that point she smelled another scent nearing, and she glanced towards the clearing before secreting herself behind another tree. "No, you're not," she says to the nearby Wraiks, "And another Wraik is coming our way from the party. I am not entirely sure who's side HE is on, however," she comments dryly, having been watching him interact with the other Winiko in a relatively friendly way.

What appeared to be a magical disappearance was merely a smoke screen to hide the bandit Wraiks as they ran off with their fluffy prize. The last of the wispy smoke drifts away revealing sparkles of color leading away from the picnic area and into the surrounding woods. Strewn like bread crumbs, the Easter Meiko has left a trail of Easter eggs in hopes that there is someone brave enough to try to rescue her.Who is brave enough to follow the bread crumbs? Are you ready to take on a band of Wraiks? Do you just tag along to see what the others will do? Do you choose instead to stay and guard what’s left of the food? (There are no right or wrong choices. Just RP and have fun!)

Raik shot Thalassa a big grin. He liked her. She got things done, unlike Impetua who was so cautious and careful.
He trotted over towards the woods and sniffed more. He thought he saw movement from 1, maybe 2 creatures about the same size as him. He ducked into the tall grass and hid in some bushes. He stealthily moved towards the creatures (though not as stealthily as he seemed to think he was).[OOC: he is still stealthy, he just thinks he's invisible; he isn't.] Impetua watched as Raik and Thalassa walked towards the trees. She rolled her eyes. As the last bit of smoke cleared, she suddenly noticed a glitter in the grass. Without saying anything to the group (probably a little rudely) she trotted over to the thing in the grass. It was an egg. Cocking a brow, she looked it over and noticed another shimmer. And another. And another.
The Easter Meiko left a trail of eggs for them. Excellent. Of course, it was going a different direction than Raik and Thalassa, but whatever. "Hey, I've found something." she announced. "I found a trail of eggs. It looks like the Easter Meiko left us a trail to follow." She grinned wryly at Mordecai, "Good thing we didn't just go haring off into the woods in any random direction, eh?"

((TAGGED SIN AND MARI but i kept editting and didn't want to keep sending you guys notifications so i took out the quotes)) "Be careful!" Morty cried to Thalassa and Raik as he began to smell around. The scent of chocolate plugged his nose and put it to no use. However, his eyes were more than adequate. "Tell me if you find anything, Impetua." He tried to be calm, though the cat-like winiko seemed more and more annoyed with the brown Wraik. He looked at what Impetua had pointed to. It did look suspiciously like a trail of daintily coloured easter eggs, not chocolate ones covered in foil.
"That's great!" Morty's face lit up with a smile. "We should call Thalassa and Raik back. They might be headed in the wrong direction now." He suggested to the dark furred girl. The black and white mini bounced around happily, high off of the sugar he had just consumed. Everyone seemed to be in a state of confusion and anger. Koko melted a chocolate egg in his mouth as he wandered through the crowd of winiko and one wraik. "What's going on?" He asked no one in particular. It was the downside to arriving to the party late.

Lilliana saw the sparkling eggs and ran after them to follow. She hoped they lead to the meiko who was kidnapped and so she ran over to inspect them. They were really pretty and she started to follow them to see where they lead. She was walking into the surrounding woods where the eggs seemed to be leading. She inspected the ground and looked around to see what else was around here as she continued to follow the eggs that made a path hopefully to where the meiko had gone. Takuto saw the eggs too and looked at the others. "Yep it was a good thing that we didn't all go running off maybe these will lead up to the bunny. I really hope so." He wiggled excitedly and wanted to go running off but would wait for the ground and go with the others. He figured it was safer with other people and they would have a better chance of finding more things with more eyes.

[OOC: Yay for posting long posts! By the time you finish your post, somebody else has already posted!] Impetua shrugged at Mordecai. "I didn't notice it before, but I suspect it was here under the last of the smoke, which only now cleared away." She started down the trail of eggs, following Takuto and the large pink elder female. She scooped up several of the eggs and deposited them in the basket the Easter Meiko had given her earlier.
