Unfortunately for Shadowstep, he somehow got turned around in the halls and ended up exactly where he was a few minutes ago.

He recognized the walls. Not only that, he could hear the same hissing. Cursing under his breath, he turned back around once more and began to flee all the same.

A third room held the same hissing danger. He sprinted out of it quickly, without realizing that he'd just found another dud. Still, better safe than sorry! And where he ran, he found treasure. Such bounty.

Shadowstep thought he had this down. Unfortunately, that raid had taken more out of him than he would have liked to admit. His reflexes were not at their best. As he crossed through one room, there was suddenly a massive explosion and he was sent tumbling straight out into the hall.
With a groan, he slowly pushed himself up while collecting the chest that had slammed into him. He then realized that he had claws. Short claws. Blinking, he looked down at himself, only to see a reptilian form.
He was also shorter now.
He was also a velociraptor.

NotAllan continued wandering the strange chambers, looking around for any sort of clue as to where the queens were. They were supposed to kill the queens, right?
That was what ALICE had said anyways. Honestly NotAllan didn't trust her much, but it was the only lead they had to go on. Surely the queen's castle would have some kind of clue in it? If there was anywhere they were going to find the way out to, this would be the place. Hopefully.
"Shadow? Night? You guys there ...?" she said in the eerie silence. "Other Allan even?" Still nothing. The corridors just echoed her silence back at her, stony and quiet as ever.
She nodded, seeing it unfit to stand around and mope. She needed to investigate! Sherlock holmes style!

...Why was she back again? Even Xiu wasn't entirely sure. It wasn't like she had really enjoyed herself the first time around, and to be honest, couldn't she just...get out of here by turning around? Except here she was, standing in front of the rooms that had exploded on her once before.

And then she exploded right from the get go.
On the bright side? Unlike the last time, she no longer had dark and limp hair. On the downside...well, it was never fun getting blasted out into the hallway. That being said, she was relieved to find that it seemed like nothing had happened to her this time around.
...Or so she would think, until she ran into someone.

Dark. Or at least, dim. Kiin looked down the hallway, a tell-tale hissing at his ear as he leaned closer to the wall believing whatever threat he was sensing was at the hall's center. It wasn't, so he dashed away from the wall and kept walking. Right into a room, full of "hissing" in the walls.
He wasn't exactly sure what to expect, but half-hoped it wasn't a bunch of snakes. The hatter was not a fan; at least, not anymore where this game was concerned.

The hatter passed through the next room in much the same way as he had the first -- uneventful, save for all the hissing. Frankly, it was starting to get a little irritating, but he pressed on through the next door he came across and tried not to think too hard about it. Soon, now, he hoped. He was certainly not a big fan of mazes any more than he was snakes, and particularly so in this game.

He caught the explosion in the face almost as soon as he walked into the next room, and it blasted him back out into the hallway almost without consequence. His hair was still black, but it was...flopping about like he hadn't bothered to mess with it at all. Irritation crossed the boil's face, and he sat up and stared at the door that led to the exploding rooms, eyes narrowed.

Kiin got up from where the last attempt to pass through the rooms had blasted him, dusted himself off and proceeded to re-enter the exploding rooms. It was more an act of defiance than logic, since, obviously, who would choose to push through that set of rooms if only to prove that they could? The walls were soon buzzing with the hissing sounds that came from the walls, and he narrowed his eyes.

He crossed through the first room, one hand fiddling with one of the cards in the deck he'd acquired upon his job class upgrade, the other in his pocket as he brisk-walked across the room. Kiin ignored the hissing and the memory of the feeling of bouncing off a couple of walls after having been blasted out of the rooms the first time he tried to make it through.
