Hulkwich heard something - was that Nightbloom, gasping? He turned to see what the problem was, when he realized the rabbit was frozen right in front of her. It was trying to explain to her what it had really been doing, but Hulkwich wasn't listening. Hulkwich didn't care.
Hulkwich don't care. He was the honey badger.
"I'M COMING NIGHTBLOOM!" He screeched, flying into the air and slamming down onto the rabbit. He picked up the poor beast, and shook those cards right out of him.
Along with four nickels, a piece of candy, and a fully inflated balloon.
And a honey badger.

"Robert!" Mimsy cried, hands on her head, fingers curled anxiously into her hair. "Stop that! Stop shaking the rabbit at once! It must contain some paradoxical rift in the matter continuum, and it might drown us in unidentifiable matter if this continues!"

What was even...going on...?
Slowly stooping down, she retrieved the three cards, returning her own to her deck before offering the other two to their rightful owners. Or she tried to, at least--one of them was busy shaking down the rabbit, and the other was busy trying to stop him.
Well, she knew how to get their attention (she hoped)."Uh, here are your cards..."

Robert dropped the rabbit as if it burned him, and threw his hands up in the air. "NO I DON'T WANT TO DROWN IN MATTER!" He cried out, backing away slowly.
"What should we do.." He backed away until he was nearer to Mimsy, still looking horrified, until the wedding bells and confetti filled the air. That somehow relaxed him - despite being a horrifically loud, obnoxious sound.
"Oh." He blinked, dropping his hands in relief. "Well, I suppose everything is all right again."

t"No, not quite..." Mimsy wore her most thoughtful expression, her tail flicking back and forth as she tapped her chin and considered their options.
The wedding bells chimed, but it wasn't their fault this time.
"Oh! I have the solution! We can partake in an activity that produces matter that matters. We should get married!"
Now, where had she gotten that idea?

Rabbit thief? What rabbit thief? Robert would have forgotten his own mother's name with an offer like that.
"Smartest of the wonders in Wonderland." He hummed, bending in to kiss her nose. "Let's go do just that."

It was a nice day, and she was minding her business wandering around the new area when she felt something brush up against her. Blinking, she watched as a white, vaguely anthropomorphic, rabbit ran past her. For a moment, she thought the little creature was terribly rude, and whatever it was saying to her only aggravated the player more. She was not going to race the thing, if that was what it was thinking.
Which, apparently, was exactly what the rabbit was thinking. From its pocket it drew out a card, a card that looked vaguely familiar to her. "THAT IS MINE!" she declared, and then threw in a flew expletives for good measure. Frantically she pawed at her deck, and was horrified to discover it hadn't just taken any card, it had taken one her good ones. Oh, that rabbit was going DOWN.

The rabbit disappeared from her view, and desperate for her card, she looked at her quest marker which indicated she needed to climb over a hill. Screw that! the0racle instead went around it to save some time, and ended up catching sight of the rabbit again!

This game of chase was tiring, but at least it was almost methodical! She followed the rabbit, and the rabbit ran. But, desperate to gain some ground on it she looked at her Quest Details and discovered a sort of shortcut! Hah, now that cut some time out of this chase.

A kind soul seemed to notice her plight, and maybe the rabbit had pulled the same trick on them! Anyways, she got a buff and it was super nice.

Once the0racle set her mind to the task of reclaiming her card, the rabbit didn't stand a chance. She swiftly caught up to it and grabbed the creature by the collar. "Give it back!" The rabbit squeaked a frantic reply, and used a NPC hax to get out of the0racle's clutches and disappear. Disgruntled, she looked to the ground and realized there was a treasure chest, and after that she was way less disgruntled.
