"Bit strange, yeah, but," her smile grew dirty around the edges, "not something I minded even a bit." Despite her words, Phoenix didn't bother getting another drink for herself. One had done for her quickly, even if the effect didn't last all too long.

She grinned as Snowflake described this version of Taym, and she leaned toward him to argue in a stage whisper, "Naw, he's a pretty reasonable handsome. You shoulda seen the him during that feelings seminar, got his a** kicked roundly by the real deal, but what god didn't give him in skill all went toward his face and abs."

Perking up, Phoenix pointed toward InvisibleDog, "See, the mouse costume is supposed to be cute." Something in her pocket made a noise, and pulling it out she found a card similiar to the one Ghost Hunk was toying with. There was a notice about some levels she'd just got and a special card.

She glanced up as her level went from 3 to 8. "Oh hey, looks like I'm even more of a badass now." Phoenix nodded, as obviously this game was getting the important things right.

"Oh? Oh. Well, yes." Life did not always get better. But it was much better than last night. "I'm..." he double-checked.

Rodnent floated over his head in clear, bright font.

"Rodnent. And yes. Mine is too." Normally he had the craftier, artisan beers. This was nothing like that. It was closer to what he would expect Butterbeer to taste like, or the imaginary foods from Hook.

Rodney felt himself turning red at the word cute. He looked fleetingingly at the employ of colors.

"His is, very nice." He buried himself much more deeply in the drink.

The drink hit like a freight train. He had never experienced alcohol with quite as serious a kick before. Immediately his world blurred and his thoughts slowed to a mere crawl, and all the normally crystal clear and sparkling pathways of iron logic and memory gradually floated apart. He'd been expecting a little relaxation, what he got was instead a complete and total break down of restraint and self control, traits that he was not exactly brimming with to begin with.

He looked down at the mug in a dazed sort of shock and all emotion faded from his avatar's pretty and youthful face.

"Well I think the shubtle is better. It's shound." he gestured at Rodnent before laughing, his accent suddenly and mysteriously very slurred Mancunian. "Bloody hell I'm..I'm rat-legged." He said in despair, putting both hands to his face in undisguised surprise.

"This is some dead strong stuff." he picked up the mug in the most un-coordinated fashion. He looked like a wild animal which had been half sedated. "Help. I think am dyin'"

Luck more then anything else placed Pckt in the tavern at the same time as a good number of other colorful individuals. Mindless wandering had taken her out of the woods with it's curious trees and memory dredging lake, and when a tavern had presented itself, she'd seen no reason not to check it out.

It was also luck that had her catching the snatches of conversation from a group of players(Because that's what they must be, with the names over their heads and the free will). She blinked as the terms feelings seminar, and real deal, and it made her stop rather abruptly as she turned to stare at the girl doing the talking, eyes a little wide. "Feels seminar?" she ventured quizically, turning and resting a hand on the back of an empty chair. If she hadn't been standing in the middle of a MMORPG Tavern, in a dream, she might have felt silly just randomly questioning eavesdropped snippets of conversation, but here? ******** it.

Besides, that sounded awfully familiar, and it had her wonding if this was a dream, or something else entirely.

But if not a dream, than what?

Phoenix gave Rodent (did he spell it wrong?) a smile that she hoped conveyed both you aren't so bad but also try harder. She ended up quickly distracted by Divinity's situation though, and moved to place and companionable arm around him, not bothering to hide her laughter, "Dang, hon, you're a featherweight!" The gryphon found this hilarious but went on to reassure him, "Even if it's got you talking all silly, don't you worry, you'll be fine. Hey, and if you do die, I can just bring you back with my sweet ressurection skill!"

The mention of the seminar had her look up and grin at her fellow gryphon, but she gave pause at the name. "Heeey....nakama?" Lifting her free hand, Phoenix pantomimed shooting with her hand to indicate being a hunter, complete with little pew pew noises.

Phoenix was hella subtle.

The physical contact registered with the same inexplicable electricity it always did in Divinity, only this time there was no self control to mute the intense response, his feline ears stood straight up and his tail once again fluffed up entirely. Even the feathers on his wings bristled like a pinecone. "I swear down, normally I ...I drink the." he pointed at the mug as if it had mortally offended him, finding the void where words should be just as irritating as the greater void of emotions. "..vin. Wino. WINE...beer...whatever that ish" He lashed out a hand and swept the empty glass off the table without the usual self control to stop himself. "What it is, right is.." and the void sucked in even what he had had been saying.

He made an odd sound of hoplessness, a nasal sort of whine like a stricken dog and then turned his face against Phoenix's chest. There was a disjointed sense she could help him. He loved her or something like that.

"Can yeh ressurect me brain? I think its gone all wonky."

There was a brief moment where the gryphon's attention slid to the apparently drunk cat, but as the word 'nakama' was tossed out in a hopefully tone Pckt perked up immediately. "Buried deep in my kokoro!"

Okay, so that meant either this was a dream and people she knew were in it, but not as themselves? Or.. Something else entirely was going on, and she didn't have a damn clue what. Regardless, she was relieved as the other fiery gryph pointed a pair of finger pistols at her, a gesture she returned, grinning, before another bright idea came to mind.

Side stepping over to the redhead, she'd lean in to murmur in a soft voice. "It's the eye of the tiger." It was bait. And if this other gryph was who she thought it was, it was bait that would be absolutely irresistible.

Divinity's ultra fluff reaction startled a peal of delighted laughter out of Phoenix. As the man broke down on her, she did her best to be comforting, a process she was getting more and more comfortable with each time it happened. Patting his head, she shushed him, unable to keep the smile out of her voice, "There, there you. It just did you a bad turn but don't even worry, cause I've got you and it'll wear off in a few minutes anyway. And aren't you just the fluffiest thing? Yes, yes you is."

She then proceeded to rub his ears like he was indeed a cat, and winked at her favourite pocket hottie, answering with a low, "It's the thrill of the fight."

Hots gave an excited squeal at the lyrical confirmation, hopping briefly on her toes before slinging an arm around Phoenix' waist. A dramatic point was sent out over the table at large that, by now, she had realized was surrounded by more fellow hunters. "Rising up to the challenge of our rival!" It was like twitter all over again, except a thousand times better, because they were actually singing, in a tavern, of some sort of collective MMORPG game/dream.

The toe of one scarlet boot may or may not have been tapping out a beat.

"And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all with the eye of the tiger"

Alongside McHottie, Phoenix belted out the rest of the verse. Her hands were a bit full but that didn't stop her from moving Divinity's ears from side to side, up and down with the beat. His sad face was on her boobs, so she felt she had every right to manhandle him at will until he gathered himself together and became a functional...cat...bird...person...hunter...thing.

Cute? InvisibleDog felt himself slowly turning red, and spared a moment to be kind of impressed that the game could do that. Game? Dream? Don't question it too hard, he reminded himself. He was kind of enjoying it and he didn't want to wake up just yet. "Um, I like yours too," he said to Rodnent, vaguely embarrassed.

He watched bemusedly as the guy with the cat ears faceplanted straight into -- he checked above her head for her name, that was handy -- Phoenix's chest, and looked at his mug with some alarm. "Is it always that strong?"

Feels seminar, and nakama, wasn't that something that the Suns kept saying? InvisibleDog's eyes widened a little as the singalong started, and he studied the faces of the other people at the table. If they were hunters, he couldn't tell who they were. An idea occurred to him, a way to check, and he looked at the drunken Divinity again and said, "He looks like it turned him into a kitten."

He didn't even know there was a tavern until it nearly bit him in the a** (which, given this place it was likely possibly that some form of inanimate object would... eventually. Somewhere). Outside, GreenRanger held his hands up hands up at the building as though he had found some form of reverence, a holy place. For it was a local dwelling of meeting (maybe even more than that guild hall place), like Airi's cafe in Kamen Rider Den-O, or the Donut cart in Kamen Rider Wizard of the pizza bar in Jungle Fury [which we do not speak of because chiri does not like Jungle Fury] or the countless other landmarks of a Tokusatsu show. This could be the place.

Or... it could just be a bar. Whatever. He had hopes here. So he walked in, hand holding the door wide as he made his dramatic entrance (complete with music. Nice) and well, posed. (If this was Cheers, he would have hoped for a studio audience applause track).

"Yo!" He greeted, loudly, holding up a hand in salute to one and all that cared to look his way. "Howzit - oh dude, is that a Walrus?" This place was so cool.

Divinity was as reassured as he got by the pats, taking slow deep breaths. He was fine. Fine. The last tenuous links in his brain were just eroding like they were eaten away with acid. He was fine...fine..not fine at all.

He was sure he was hallucinating as he imagined people were singing some tacky pop song. He finally gathered his irritation enough to withdraw from his comfortable spot, blink a few times and then eye America blearily.

"Thanks." he said, still slurring his words as he patted her shoulder, his eyes unfocused on a point several inches away behind her. "You are the besht. I'm just a muppet."

He looked around at the others present and there was something cold in his voice, rendered ridiculous by the accent and difficulty of articulate speech. "You don't begin to understand."

He sighed and covered his face again. "Jag förstår inte." He was clearly dying, his hand eye co-ordination was going the way it had in Antarctica and that was fine. "Jag älskar dig"

"It takes dead long to go away." he said forlornly. Despite it only being a few minutes, it felt like for ever.

"No," Slain disagreed sadly, having just caught the tail end of the conversation and rising to go refill his drink, mostly oblivious to his surroundings. "Not long at all."

As, she looked up to read the name, Divinity extracted himself from America's chest the other gryph slid in to give the other girl a tight, fond hug. There had been much bonding as of late between the two, and Pckt was always happy to see her. "I'm not even going to poke hole into the logic of dreams and shared dreamscapes, or whatever. I'm just happy you're here." A grin flahsed, then she was turning her attention towards the table at large, though more specifically the purple haired fellow that had mentioned kittens.

A singular lavender eye narrowed down as she gave him a proper look over, but it was just impossible to tell here who was really who or if they were anyone. So she stopped trying to guess, and instead answered the not a question with a bright grin. "Wouldn't have been the first time."

She gave a thoughtful frown, wondering if she actually cared for anonymity, and eventually decided that she did not. Besides, if America was here, maybe more of her friends were, and she really wasn't much for tiptoeing around. "I could probably spend some time asking really specific though odd questions until I've figured out who is who and if I know them. And that's if they feel like telling me." Tone was matter of fact, one hand waffling in the air. Then she smiled, looking over the names blazing above everyone gathered before looking up to see if she could see her own. Yep.

"Anyways, I've got no reason to hide behind a screen name. Your friendly neighborhood Peyton here." Shoulders rolled in a shrug.
