Axel's went wide eyed when Rose told him that she was in fact a siren. A living, breathing siren. The kind that was talked about in high school greek mythology class that Axel payed nearly no attention to. It all made sense now. That's how and why Rose seemed to be most alive when she was singing. the hoodlum had no idea of how to react to this knowledge. Should he freak out? Not really. He had telekinetic powers, so he was on the same field as she was. Maybe he should be honored. He was, for a lack of better words, dating a siren. This was great! How many could say their date was a cute, if not beautiful siren with an otherworldly singing voice?

Axel then followed the siren maiden into the cake and coffee shop. The smell of ground coffee beans and freshly baked pastries entered Axel's nostrils. It was such a pleasant and mouth watering aroma. "I can see why you'd like to work here." The hoodlum chuckled. "I'd probably get sick of it though. I hate teasing aromas." Axel then decided to take Rose up on her offere, despite his conscious nagging him not to. He argued that he wouldn't pick anything expensive or pricey. In the end, Axel wound up choosing a small slice of pumpkin pie.

It was still so shocking to hear that not only was her sister pregnant, but getting married. Yet, Lucy couldn't stop smiling and nodded energetically as Donny mentioned the flowers. "I'll get some from my garden!" she jumped up, making sure her bag was secure as she elaborated, "They're in full bloom and it's make the bouquet amazing~ and I turn a few into hair clips for the bridesmaids and get a few for the guy's suits." Grinning, she hugged each person before exiting the café and heading back to her tower.

"Well...Let's get walking. My mom said there's a shop around the corner that sells formal wear." She gave a small shrug and led the way out of the café. It was strange, walking in silence down the street with her ex. She still wanted to hold his hand but he was stiff as ever. Letting out a small sigh, she pushed the matter from her mind and focused on their goal: get clothes for a wedding that was going to take place in a matter of hours.

Yvette's words were so important that he could feel water welling up behind his eyes. It took every ounce of his will to the phone call, and he only managed to do so because he had to get ready for his own wedding. "Te amo." he told her before hurrying to explain the entire situation to his mother. Both of his parents were confused but gave their blessings, and he quickly entered the castle to perform her requests. Gathering up his soon-to-be wife's gown, he was extremely careful to avoid the king's study. Yvette would have to deal with him since Caesar was not afraid to admit how intimidating the King was. Instead, he returned home with his transporter and carefully set the dial to Janhall's coordinates. Bring his parents and siblings, Caesar entered the city.

Yvette was happy that she got her lover on her side. The last she needed was her parents. She took a break and called her mom who was always proud of her when she rebelled, then finally her father. The girl dialed the number and waited for the kind to pick up.

Just trying to get a bit louder to be heard!

Rose walked in with Axel and sat him with a stool at the counter so they could talk while she set up her station. Before even getting her coffee machine up and running she hurried to the back to slip on her uniform. Her uniform had a small heart button on her chest that had her name in the cutest brown letters. When she stepped out she ran her hand across the counter and looked over to Axel with a soft smile. "How do I look?" She said with the softest blush powdering her cheeks. She reached up to readjust her bow before placing the order for his pie and setting up her coffee machine.

She registered what he said earlier and laughed almost out of place. "I can understand why you wouldn't like it you're way to big and tough to like a place like this. But maybe you'll come in, so we can talk." She blushed almost severely as she moved to filled in a few orders for coffee. Each order was made specifically for the customer and it was a barrista's job to make everything perfect. She balanced small trays with cakes and pies and all kinds of sweets along with the coffee in her hands and made her way to each awaiting table. She had to work a bit harder now that she was severely late...at least the day manager wasn't here to grill her.

Rose had worked here for quite a while and even ended up getting a drink she made on the menu. It's called a Rosy Bear coffee, which is really just cinnamon coffee with her special creamer art at the top. When she was caught up on orders she made it back to the counter with one last plate left. "Here's your pie sir." She said with a soft wink to Axel before retreating to the counter and slipping a few of her own bills into the cash register, to add up for Axel's pumpkin pie. She was really getting into the idea that maybe they were...a couple! Maybe right?

Axel waited somewhat anxiously at his seat for Rosalina to come. He periodically looked over his shoulder so that he could look out the window to if the police were coming yet. When Rose came back, Axel's jaw completely dropped. She was so adorable looking. The hoodlum barely registered what she even said afterwards. All that came out of him was an absentminded, "Yeah. Sure." Axel watched as Rose went around doing her job. When she brought him his slice of pie, Rose winked at the hoodlum in the most charming way, Axel could have sworn Cupid came from behind stuck a knife in his back. Yeah. The no good hoodlum was smitten by the siren. Axel was so distracted, he almost forgot about the heavenly smelling pumpkin pie sitting in front of him. He was focused on on how cute Rose was. It was like when things went hazy pink in anime and only the person the character was seeing was visible.

The king had spent the entire afternoon in his study, which was exactly how he spent about ninety percent of his days. The past decade had been one of the hardest rules in Spain since the Great War, but he was managing. Everyone in his family was strong, from his wife to his daughters, to his son. That's why, when his phone rang, he wasted no time in answering his daughter. "Hello honey." he said quickly, choosing to speak in English just so that his guards knew not to interrupt him. 'How are you doing? I haven't heard from you since..." He droned off, not wanting to remind her of their earlier argument.

Yvette smiled. It seemed that he was at least willing to talk to her. "Hi Daddy." The girl said in a high pitch voice that she usually greeted him in. "So now that things have settled down a bit I wanted to call you." She said making it sound like everything was okay, which her father would soon beg-to-differ. "So Caesar and I talked and we've decided that we will get married. I kind of have wanted to for a while. I just got nervous about the idea when we were talking about it." She told her father. She was going to build him up to break his heart a bit. Now she needed to figure out if she should tell him about being pregnant.

"I really would like it if you would walk me down the aisle and Nathan can be a groomsman. Lucy will be a bridesmaid too. We're planning the wedding and our future right now. I'm visiting Lucy as we speak." She told her father as she took a deep breath, may as well do one massive heart attack right now. This was going to a big stab in the back. "I got nervous about the idea because I'm pregnant and Caesar and I thought that we should just get married today and get it over with." The woman told her father. She thought about hanging up the phone so she didn't have to hear his reaction, but braved her way through it and kept listening.

Seth was silent when Yvette spoke. At first, it was because he didn't want to interrupt her explanation of deciding to get married. His heart lifted at the prospect of his daughter finally choosing her future king, and the fact that Caesar was nothing like himself was the greatest bonus he could ever ask for. But, before he could give his congratulations, she continued to speak, dropping a bomb on him that required almost a minute of silent thought. "You're...pregnant?" He voice was shaky as he continued to speak. "And you want to get married...today?" He gaze snapped to his watch and he was only too happy to remember the time difference between Spain and the city she was currently in. "Vetty-" he paused, taking a deep breath as he leaned forward in his seat to place his elbows on his desk. The King waved his guards outside, uncaring of whether or not they understood English. He needed to be alone while he had this conversation. "You are going to be Queen when I die. You will rule over our people and you will care for each and every citizen with such devotion that anyone who had ever opposed your title as heiress will regret their decisions. You'll have little time for much else, but I've told you this many times before." He took a pause, blinking back tears as he added, "But that's why you have to live now with no regrets. You need experience all you can before you sit on the throne...So if you truly wish to marry Caesar and have a child with him, it will be my honor to walk you down the aisle." His voice was kind and soft as he added, "Although I wish I could talk you into having the wedding here, with all a princess deserves." He let out a sigh, knowing that she wouldn't have such a thing occur.

"Papa." Yvette said as if she was his four year old daughter again. She was in near tears. He was giving her total approval. Out of all the times they got in fights with each, this day the fight was a good fight. "Caesar and I don't want a big wedding, because it's not personal. We just want to be with each other. He is the one I love and the only one I want to really please. I was planning on just being a single parent with him to the side, but Donny reminded me that I loved him and didn't want him to be on the side, I wanted him in the center." She told her father as tears poured down her cheeks. "The father of my children will be my husband and not pushed to the side because he's some commoner or because I'm too prideful."

Luckily, one of the few things Seth had learned through his age was that crying was perfectly acceptable if your adult daughter just called to tell you that she was starting a life with a man and that you were going to be a grandfather in a few months. So as Yvette cried, he did as well. Her voice was so small, like it had been when he had spoken with her for the first time. Her words about Caesar struck a chord in his heart; Seth had been too young and stupid to marry the woman he had loved. He had cast aside Yvette's mother and almost lost his daughter because of it. "Damn that Abadon. I've always told you not to be friends with Angels because they will tell you the truth." He was only joking, of course, as he was actually extremely happy to know that his daughter had been raised alongside such a good friend. Standing up from his seat, he began to rummage around the room for his transporter. "I've got to get Nathan and Eileen, or I'll be late to your wedding." He chuckled, his expression shifting to one of joy as he located the transporter. He wouldn't need to ask for the city, it was already programmed to Janhall in case he ever had to reach Lucy in an emergency. "I'll be there as quick as I can. I love you, Vette."

Yvette made a chuckle through her tears at her father's joke about her best friend. She knew she had only the best for her friends. "I'll let you go, or I may be late for my own wedding." She joked. "I love you daddy. I'll see you soon." She said before hanging up her phone. She then turned around and texted her younger sister for the location of the wedding and that she would go find a cheap cake.

Rose didn't really like to take her job lightly. She was a happy-go-lucky person but she thought of her duties at work as a promise, and she would never break a promise! She zoomed about her station making sure everything was clean. She took to cleaning the counter before moving around to take any orders that were outstanding. She noted a group of different people and made sure to keep them in her vision in case they needed anything before moving to her station again. When she got a moment of respite she looked to Axel and saw his eye's staring at her. "W-what..." She leaned back slightly and rose a hand to her hair to twirl a strand of it between her index finger. "Do I have something in my hair or something?" He had been like that since she started working. Maybe he was getting offended since she wasn't talking to him enough. She moved closer to him so she was across the counter from him. "You haven't even touched the pie." She smiled almost instantly as his face fell into her view.

Now that she was closer she could see him a bit behind the hood and felt that he wasn't bored, just speechless. "What? Did I get your order wrong or something?" She teased before leaning forward to give him a clear look at her face.

Axel snapped out of his trance upon being asked what was the matter by Rose. He still couldn't get over how cute she was in that barista outfit. It might not have been a maid outfit, but it was damn close. the way her top showed off her smooth shoulders, the tiny little apron, it almost made the hoodlum let out a cat call. But it was more adorable than sexy. Perhaps that was just the kind of girl Axel went for. The cute and innocent ones. "What, huh, oh! Right, the pie." He stammered before driving his into the slice and taking a bite. It was delicious and moist. Axel soon found himself gobbling the whole thing down. If he wasn't in public, he probably would have at the whole thing with his bare hands. "I can't remember the last time I had a slice of pie that good." Axel commented looking down at the plate of crumbs. It almost seemed sad. A lowly hoodlum in a place he really didn't belong. But that feeling soon faded away when Axel's Cheshire smile gleamed through the darkness of his hood.

Rose watched almost in giggles as the male gobbled down the pie like a starving child. She tilted her head just enough to see his smile afterwards. "Your so silly..." She mused with a smile as she effortlessly saw through the Cheshire grin. Oh how she loved that smile already, it was dark and evil to others but to her it...it meant something else, she knew it! He made the same smile when she sang earlier. It was so charming, so dazzling to the siren's eyes. She would look at him smile for hours if she could. Of course he would have to have his hood off again, she would have to take in the rest of his handsome face if any staring were to occur. She then realized that her thoughts were getting a bit creepy so she shook them away and tended to her counter again. "So, since none of your buddies called what we did at the bar a date, does that mean it wasn't a date?" She was teasing him now, she even knew that by now there was really no other alternative for their relationship now but she would play with his previous words for now to get him to say it.

The hoodlum let out a small laugh when the siren called him silly. Of all the things Axel had ever been called, silly was not one of them. Oh well. There was a first for everything wasn't there? Rose then brought up whether their time together was or was not a an actual date. Axel looked up up at through his mangled hair and hood. The light from above shined through and exposed a bit more of the hoodlum's face showing a slight redness. "Well..I guess it's whatever you wanna call it. A date, hanging out, whatever." Axel then looked away began cracking the bones in his neck and knuckles. The loud popping sound of the tiny gas bubbles in his bones echoing slightly, but not enough to be heard over the sound of the radio music being played in the coffee house.
