Finally, a door. Kostya passed through, and looked at Taym with disapproval.
"Not do a good job of stick together," he said, primly, and settled against a wall with an exhalation.

The hall opened to a staircase, leading up. And she'd be so ******** angry at that fact, except she'd finally, finally found Konstantin and Taym. "Jesus wept. If I never enter another ******** maze again..." She was very, very pale, her eyes dark as pitch and a little too wide. stamina: 1/16

Before them was a staircase, spiral and with a black metal railing. In the center, there was only a hole that led to an unfathomable depth. How far down had they gone?

The tiniest, almost imperceptible movement of his hand when America manifested, when he took in the look on her face. He didn't touch her. He just went behind Kostya, trying to keep close to the wall. This ended up being a mistake. The sound of his sudden inhale through his teeth was loud and sharp.
"Son of a ******** b***h," he spat, hand pressed to his side.

Giving Kostya a tight smile she began to ascend the stairs when her legs gave out. Gripping the pendant, she called out, "Don't worry! I'll be right back!"
