(( They are hanging out in a tent with Borra and Sin'qua ))
Eira Post One
Eira sat down on the little stool outside of the tent that she and her troupe were staying in, a tent that was also there to house any injured men that were in need of her care. She wasn't a healer per say but that didn't mean that she couldn't do anything as far as helping went. A pretty face and a gentle smile were something that would aid as well when it came to recovery after the healers did their job. Ahhh, tending to sexy soldiers, that was something that she didn't mind the thought of. Maybe she would find a handsome Ice Tribesman to call her own while she was at it.
A passing thought though as she recalled that she wasn't exactly going to be tending to only men. She would likely have to help out with injured women as well and while normally she wanted very little to do with her own gender, seeing them as competition, she would look differently upon them at the present. There were others that they would be worrying over instead, those from the foreign land of Oba. Such a bother! They were getting in the way of progress, "We should be seeing to ready our troupe for travel. This was not at all what I was planning for our first gig." She muttered to the ones that were standing nearby to her. The rest of her small troupe thus far, that being Gyuri, Borra, Sin'qua, and maybe Makani if she could talk him into joining. They were all here with her, traveling, but not in the manner that she had hoped they'd be doing.
"I swear I just want to thump that idiot of a king of their's on his head!" She complained, brandishing a fist in the air as emphasis about what she wanted to do. Not that she was a fighter in any way, shape, or form but that didn't mean she couldn't hit the guy! Then after she did Gyuri could finish him off while she hid behind her giant of a bodyguard.
Makani Post One
"I don't know if going and punching a king sounds like a good idea, sister." Makani said, crossing his arms over his chest, giving a bit of a smile. His sister could be so violent when she was in a mood he thought to himself, finding it amusing that she seemed to be wanting to take on the head honcho of the invading force herself. He just hoped that the opening for such a thing never arose, he didn't want her to get hurt after all. If anything he'd much rather that she stay exactly where they were right now. The further from the front lines the better if you asked him. The very last thing he wanted was to actually have to deal with those from Oba since he wasn't sure how he would do so.
Healing was one thing, actually fighting and killing that was another. He didn't want to harm anyone... meaning that they would need to stay away from the fighting so that such a thing was forced upon them. He'd fight if he had to, if it meant keeping the others around him safe, but it wasn't what he wanted to do by any stretch of the imagination. Leaning back on the massive, fluffy raptrix that was his seeing eye dog, he lifted a hand to scratch her under the chin, "Stay close to us, Rae, I don't want for you to get hurt either." That wouldn't be good at all. He didn't even want a single feather of her pretty head to get ruffled after all.
Gyuri Post One
Gyuri looked between the group before his eyes landed on Borra, watching him from where it was that he was standing. He found himself wondering if maybe he should say something to him, to talk to him, tell him what he thought about him... it was a thought that just made his cheeks color. No, he doubted that it was really the time or place, was it? Better that he just wait until after the war to bother Borra with such matters he decided, turning away from him. Best that he get a feel for those around them, for the area around them, all of things that would come into play when it came to keeping them all safe. He didn't want to see any of them hurt after all and that meant being ready to protect them at a moment's notice no matter what.
He would do just as Eira hired him to do, he would keep them all safe! That was the job of a bodyguard after all and something that he was more then willing to do. Remaining ever quiet he turned back to the others, listening to them chat, even giving a smile as Eira went about threatening foreign kings. She was just in a bad mood since their plans had been altered was all. Things would start to look up so long as everyone made it through this war to the end, something he'd do his best to see happen.

Betoto Post Two
Betoto was just finishing up when she heard a male call out for a healer. She looked up at the shifter male and gave a small gulp, hoping it was nothing too serious. After quickly standing up, she almost ran over to him, but she tried to be as calm as she could without her clumsiness taking effect. When she got to him she gave a smile. I'm Betoto. I'm still a prentice but I know some small healing tricks. I hope I can help you out. She said, trying to aid rather than mess things up.
Gerraden was still smiling even as Rishima turned to lecture hime about how serious this war was going to be. He didn't know or even realize that coming up from behind him was someone he hadn't seen in quite awhile. About to correct the hybrid about how it was the other way around, that he was here to keep an eye on HIM, the words never came as the smile on his face faltered as his foot was caught up to trip him and though he went out to catch his balance suddenly he found himself in a headlock. His hands went instantly to try and get those burly arms off of him, but as soon as the words left Ray's mouth he couldn't help but start laughing.
"Your terrible Ray, are you trying to give me a heart attack before I even get to the battlefield?" Gerraden sighed and shook his head...well tried to anyway before he playfully pushed Ray's arms to get them to let go. "You know for an adoptive brother you could come visit once in awhile. " He teased before he glanced up at Rishima.
"I am here to keep you safe too you know, the sword on my back isn't just for show." He chastised his 'partner'.

Chandra Post 2
Orpheus Solon
Pidgeons Go Meow X3
Chandra looked positively dour, clenching his brother's hand tightly and and refusing to let go even as the skin was beginning to sweat something horrid. as voices called out he flinched, could sounds hurt a person? Probably not, but Chandra was not in the mood to be friendly with people. Still his brother turned to face the source of the voices and thus he was forced to join in this. Curiosity got the better of him and he found himself glancing up from the ground to see just who it was that was speaking to them.
Blinking he certainly had to agree with his brother, they did resemble the bug woman they had met, though similar...and very different at the same time. With their dark skin they sort of stuck out a lot didn't they? Not to mention as the other brother sent the first onto the ground he gave a slight snort as if mimicking his brother. He was certainly glad when Aysun took charge of the situation and took a step back as if shielding him from anything those two weird boys may do.
Not to say that he wasn't paying them any attention, no..they had his full attention now, even if it was a tight lipped glare. What were they stupid? What a weird question to ask them...what about all the other people around? Did they ask that of everyone? The snide comments however were never spoken aloud he just continued to glare and hold onto his brother's hand with his vice like grip.
The monk had been anticipating this for awhile, and now that it was here he felt ill prepared. The poor shifter had his satchel packed full with medicinal herbs, dried and fresh, crushed into powers or mixed into salves. In fact the poor satchel looked as if it was going to burst at the seems it was so full. Yet he couldn't help but wonder if he had everything...did he miss anything back home in Tale? What about in Jahaur? Licking his lips the timid man was standing next to his mate clutching his book to his chest as if afraid it may vanish on him if he didn't.
Glancing at Jacinthus as he made the comment about dealing with the invaders quickly he frowned and chewed on his lower lip. Honestly he was here to heal, he refused to fight but he would heal those who needed his assistance.
"Perhaps we can be lucky and there will be no blood shed. Maybe someone can talk some sense into the leaders and end this war before it begins." Takoda began softly thought he knew it was very unlikely for it to happen. He worried about his 'nephews' and all the younger people who were being dragged into this war. Swallowing he looked over his shoulder and where they had come from leaving the two boys behind with their Grandmother.
"I worry for them...but I know they are stronger than they appear." He murmured before shifting on the spot. Being a field medic wasn't exactly the best place for him was it? He got that sense by the looks he was given by his comrades. Looks that declared without words that he should be back with the other healers in the tents getting ready. But sometimes people needed immediate attention...on the field of battle and that's where he fully intended to be.
Keilana Post 1
The mother of two was..livid. Perhaps that was too strong of a discription, but the easy to anger Leaf woman seemed to be pacing back and forth, her hammer in her hands as she looked ready to back the blunt end against a person's skull at any provocation . Muttering under her breath and tossing a glare to both her brother, the father of her boys and her brothers lover as if it was their fault this war was here.
She couldn't help but worry about her sons. After all they were still so young, what if something was to happen to them? What if she couldn't be there to protect them? The motherly instinct was intense and there was nothing more that she wanted to do except run back to the place they had dropped them off, scoop them up and hide them away. Somewhere far away, she would stop anyone in their tracks if they thought they would be able to step anywhere near her boys.
Jumping a bit as she realized that Aysun and Chandra were being mentioned she growled lowly. Stopping her back and forth pacing to try and calm herself down. Working herself up into a berserking rage wasn't exactly going to be the best way of keeping herself and her comrades alive.
"I...know they will be okay...I just.." She began looking back over her shoulder again before rubbing a free hand over her face. "I can't help but worry...what if the war gets so bad that the Oba forces overrun this place? What ..." She began thinking of all the horrible things that could happen to them while she wasn't around to safeguard them. Half turning she looked as if she was going to stomp her way back to them but she managed to stop herself.

Borra Post 1
Orpheus Solon
Borra had has lute with him, after gaining rank he felt that he should wear it everywhere now, even if his father was against it. Tuning the instrument the happy smile that was normally on his face was on the grimmer side today. There was an impending war coming, and he felt a burden on his chest as he watched displaced children milling about and men and women rushing about here and there trying to prepare for the first wounded.
Borra felt..out of his element. A war was such a serious thing, and it made him feel uncomfortable in his own skin. Though he was brought out of his dark thoughts as Eira made a funny joke about punching the Oba war leader's head. A small true smile lit upon his lips as he then chuckled, he looked to Makani who had grown up all of a sudden, the last time he had really been with him he was able to carry him on his back....he wasn't so sure he could manage that now.
Spotting the body guard already alert and at attention he chuckled and moved over to pat the guys broad shoulder. "Though I bet you could certainly intimidate anyone you wanted, too bad we didn't have a method of transporting you straight to the kings throne so you can scare the wits out of him. " Borra joked poking at Gyuri's large muscles.
Sin'qua Post 1
Glaring. Yes she was glaring. How did she end up being roped into all this? Well she was with the troupe now...and where the troupe went...so did she. But seriously....a war? She knew that they all needed to help out for the war but this was ridiculous. First of all only Gyuri was suited for it. Makani was blind even if he just acquired a new rank he was useless for a battle, Eira was a fluff head dancer and her brother...well...he was Borra. Too stupid to know what was good for him.
Arms crossed over her chest she did as told, would help the healers as best she was able, but while Eira was the 'angel' Sin'qua was...tough love. The poor ice tribe woman hardened her emotions just so that the horrors of war wouldn't effect her. Or at least that was her plan. It made her desire to be able to fight stronger, but at the same time she was not suited for combat. Fighting was pointless and stupid.
Giving a scoff as her brother went along with Eira's joke she rolled her eyes and went to stand beside Makani. She didn't know him well, but ..he had just gained a rank in a skill with magic..and that had her curious despite herself. "they are all being stupid.." she growled under her breath.
Samoset jumped as his brother slumped to the ground as they came to a stop, and scrambled to pick him up. He should have gotten better sleep, silly Kennet, maybe then he could stay awake longer and be a little more polite! He helped his twin to his feet, sighing as he was simply used as a crutch instead of helping his brother to stand on his own, and smiled sheepishly at Aysun and Chandra.
"He asks that to everybody, sorry." He apologized, chuckling. His brother could be so rude with others, but, he was his brother... How could he yell at him for it? "It's nice to meet you! We're Alkidikes, like our daddy!" He nodded his head at Aysun's question. "Yup! We're half-them! What sort of Earthlings are you?"
Kennet post 2
Kennet made a face as he was pulled up by his brother and continued to lean against him, probably just to annoy him more than to keep himself standing upright. The ground was comfy, why did he have to stand up just so they could chat to more people? To him, all this fuss was just, well, stupid. Why were they here? Couldn't his daddy write a letter to the king telling him to go away so they could go home and not miss sleep? He yawned, wobbled a little, and found himself staring straight at Chandra. Was he... Glaring at them?
"HEY. Why are you looking at my brother like that?" He grumbled. "You're weird too, white hair!"
Only time will tell if his insults will reach beyond that of which he can point and scream about.

Jerarda Post 2 (coming to join Rish/Ray/Gerr)
Orpheus Solon
The older woman sighed as there were just too many faces she didn't recognize here. The alkidike woman was hoping to at least find one of their elders so she could speak with one of them. This war was pointless. She knew it, and yet the underlying fear was driving everyone insane. Was this the work of that ancient evil? Could it cause people to want to kill each other? There were so many unanswered questions on the tip of her tongue. Discouraged she was about to turn and leave when she spotted a familiar figure.
Blinking she almost wondered if she was seeing things. No. It was her...him. Right him. Rishima! Her heart skipped a beat a moment, after all she had been searching everywhere for him and finally it looked as if she found him! Moving she was going to go to him and noticed...a strange pair of males standing before him. One was pale skinned much like Rishima, he wielded a large blade on his back though he was currently in a head lock from a shifter. Grinning Rerarda wondered if Rishima finally made some friends. Well..time to scare the wits out of his friends!
Coming up from behind Rishima the older woman was quick to tuck her weapon into a slot on her back before coming up to wrap her arms around Rishima's middle and lifting him up. Being a pure blood she was....taller than all the males and older she was 'stronger'.
"I finally found you little sister, how dare you make me look everywhere for you like that!"
Vollerei Post 2/2 reached From her perch she spotted a familiar face. Leaping down, the heavy hipped Alkidike wandered over and caught the tail end of it. Looking over the three males she saw two were half breeds and one Shifter. One she recognized as briefly meeting and talking about her Kinfa back at the tournament. She grinned, looks liked a fin and rambuctious gathering! She sauntered over, Snack(her maglardilla) clinging to her back as Zweil fluttered above her.
"This looks like a happy gathering. And that looks like a male.. Aren't they called "brothers" or something Jerarda? Or do we call him a sister?" She asked with grin, genuinely curious. She'd never seen a male alkidkie before, even if it was a half breed. It was a weird to see him. The colors were all wrong, even though the shape was almost right.
Rayolun Post 2/2 reached
Ray let his brother loose as he saw two Alkidikes approached. Patting the broader man on the back he smiled. "I got distracted by the sea. Was rather difficult to leave it behind." He looked at the other guy. "He may be rash, but if you keep an eye on him... or distract him with other things to do, I'm sure he'll do just fine." He looked at the sword and smiled. "That over sized knife of yours does look nasty. Trident's better though." He grinned as he teased.
As the larger Alikdike he'd ran into briefly at the tournament asked her question he paused. Alkidkies did call each other Sister. So was this Rishma a Sister or Brother? Or Gerrarden for that matter. They were male so brother... right? His eyes gleamed with amusement, "So... if he's a Sister to the Alkidikes, are you my sister Gerrarden?"

Mella post two
Mella winced a bit and turned her head to the man with the staff.“I’m no healer but I would be happy to help out where I can.” Please no blood, please no blood. In her mind the mantra was going over and over and she was sure she could feel all the blood leave her face. Still she moved to follow the man hoping for the best. There was another woman headed that way which made her feel a bit more at ease. “Hello I’m Mella.” She offered her hand to the much more exuberant prentice. She used her free hand to adjust her bag.
(Mella just needs to keep busy)
BarAmal post two
Nothing BarAmal was starting to lose his patience having sat there for a while now not speaking to others and fighting the urge to fidget. He was at the edge of the camps in a tree and he was ready to leap out and head into battle already. Hearing the murmurs from others talking was distracting him from the calm place he was in mentally. The sooner he could get going into battle the sooner he would be able to use his bow and defend others. The building antsy feeling might have had a spike of fear in it but he denied that to himself. He felt like he had to be brave even if he was beginning to feel terror gnawing in on the edges of his stomach.
D8 Holy Cow! I'd best get a post in now, or I will be left in the dust...
Gaddok: Post 1
It was a long trek from Dernd, Sauti. Gaddok's feet ached, but his mind urged them forward as he reached the edge of the ever expanding camp. There were so many people of every race throughout Tendaji; it was truly an inspiring sight to behold. The threat of war was upon us and all the races had banned together to protect their home, but only time would tell if our united force would be enough to hold the enemy behind our border.
Finding a place to rest in the nook of a trunk, Gaddok sunk to the ground with a sigh. His nerves were there, tingling the back of his mind and making his heart race. He starved for the battlefield, the thrill of putting what Lon was teaching him to use, but it was not time to face the enemy quite yet. So taking advantage of this lull, Gaddok pulled out his leather journal, undid the straps holding its pages closed and began to write.

Ime post 1
The child could not possibly be aware of what they were going to face. Her mother had not wanted to bring here here, that much she knew. She had been told to stay away from the healing tents once people started coming, but she thought she might stick around and help, right? There was nothing like a good kiss for a boo-boo.
She'd had nowhere else to go, no one else to watch her. She was a ward of her fellow Earthlings and the Alkidikes that wandered. All was tense, frenzied... except maybe one man, tucked into a corner with a journal. Unaware of personal space, as many children were, she approached him and tilted her head.
"What're you writing about?" The war, perhaps? Whatever the big fight was about...
Bhima post 1
It hadn't hit her until only recently. This was an actual battle. There would be gore and death all around her, some at the ends of her own blades. She had never killed a person... sure, she'd beaten a few bloody and broken some bones, but never actually taken a life. Her nerves were flaring up uncharacteristically, and she was trying to beat them down by going through a series of warm-up routines. The mere fact that her sisters were here was enough. Mama Chike would be arming the archers, safe by the healing area, but she would be at the front lines...
Gah, well. This was life in Tendaji. She had witnessed the occasional Shifter raid, and she could only hope that it had hardened her somewhat against visions of grievous wounding.

Jacinthus Post 2
Jacinthus gave Takoda a glance, then looked away, "Perhaps." Though he doubted it very highly, he'd already had a run in with them, he didn't think such people would see any sort of reason. No, this was one of those things that would more then likely come to blows. He hated it, the fact that those around him could he hurt or worse, and he would do all he could, use every ounce of his skill to protect them, but he wouldn't be able to save everyone. He would just have to do what he could to save those he could. He could only hope that it wouldn't come down to him having to make a biased decision. He'd rather avoid needing to chose saving his sister or his mate over a stranger but he already knew full well how such a thing would play out.
Sighing a little he reached out, wrapping an arm around Takoda, and pulled the Healer to him. He rested his head against that of Takoda, letting his eyes close for a moment. Where as Jacinthus seemed to be steeling himself for the coming battle Takoda seemed to be rather fretful, something that he would try to make better if he could but really, how could he? There was no telling him that everything was going to be alright when they were on the verge of war after all. People were going to die on both sides, it was just up to them to try to keep the numbers on their side lower then on the side of Oba.
Opening his eyes as Takoda spoke of the twins he gave a nod, "They have each other, it's something that always made Keilana and I stronger when were younger." Even those times when they were alone after their parents died and it was just the two of them he had always felt stronger having her there with him. He felt it would probably be the same with Aysun and Chandra, they just had to stick together, something that he hoped they had drilled into their heads before they'd left them with Zahra.
Chalcedony Post 2
Chalcedony gave Jacinthus and Takoda a glance before he turned to watching Keilana, taking in the manner that she was pacing about like a riled up Witu. Best not to try to stop her from her pacing, not if he didn't want to get a whack from that hammer he thought to himself. She was worrying enough for all of them, of that much he was certain, but he couldn't help but to fret too. This was all so much bigger a scale then he felt that he was prepared for. He'd done all he could as far as training went but he was much more used to fighting one on one or against the beasts of Jauhar, nothing of the scale that was laid out before them. It would be different but he would do all that he could with the training he had.
"If it gets that bad my mother will have already sent the boys back to Jauhar with my siblings. She will probably stay until the last moment herself since my father is going to be on the battlefield as well but the others she will send ahead." The twins were old enough now that they were starting to take on more responsiblity and rank, but they were still young yet and not ready to fight in the manner that Chalcedony and his father would be fighting. As such they would likely instead be put in charge of seeing everyone else back home to Jauhar to wait for everyone else to return. Giving her the best smile he could must he said, "I am sure that we don't have to worry, I know that Reva and Vera can be a handful at times but I know that they will do their utmost to keep everyone else safe if they have to." They could only hope it didn't come to that.

(( Any guy characters can feel free to notice Eira's flirting if they like! LOL ))
Gyuri Post 2
Gyuri glanced down at Borra as the musician started to chatter on about how he could intimidated anyone if he wanted and that it was too bad they didn't have means to send him to face the Oban king. It was something that he was actually grateful for, that he wouldn't have to face such a man alone. To cause such an incident, to want to invade all of the other lands, the man must be something even more scary then people seemed to feel that Gyuri was. Maybe he too was a giant he thought to himself, not certain that he wanted to face off one on one against someone his own size who likely had vastly better training... though if he found himself forced to do so to protect the troupe then he would.
As he got poked in the arm he couldn't help but to give a bit of a smile, unable to stay upset or worried when Borra was so close by. He really was a sweet thing, wasn't he? A shame that he had zero ability to voice such a thought. No, he was better at being the strong, silent, guardian type. Things like flirting he'd leave to those like Eira who seemed to have a knack for it. She was even able to get him blushing and he was interested in someone else. It was a credit to the power that she had he supposed.
Eira Post 2
Turning to look at Gyuri as well, taking in what Borra was saying about him, she couldn't help but to smile brightly, "Yes, I agree. I really did luck out when I found him for our troupe, huh? He's the perfect sort of warrior! I bet anything that if we hadn't picked him up that he'd of been drafted to fight in the war." She was glad that she got him first, she didn't want to share her bodyguard with anyone else! No, he was here to keep her and the rest of the troupe safe! A tough sort of task she was sure, there were four of them for him to protect after all, but he seemed like he was prepared to do so if the need arose. At least from what she could read of him, he was always so quiet!
Turning her attention to her brother and Sin'qua, then away again. Those two weren't really joining in the joke, huh? They really weren't any fun, were they? Then again Sin'qua was rarely any fun... she was pretty sure that her title in the troupe should be Stick-in-the-Mud-Sin'qua. It was perfect!
It was a thought that she kept to herself though as she pushed up to her feet after spotting a rather handsome soldier going by. Eira gave him a wink then blew him a kiss, grinning to herself when he was so engrossed in her that he ran into someone else. Better to see them off with smiles and kisses then anything else she thought to herself, never one to pass up on flirting with handsome men when she found the chance to do so. Turning to look at Sin'qua she said, "Come on, Sinny, you can at least smile and wave at them. They need the morale boost. Looking at your sour face might scare them off." She teased the other woman before turning back to what she'd been doing.
Makani Post 2
Makani's ears twitched a little as he heard Sin'qua muttering under her breath. He found himself wondering if it was something that she hadn't meant for anyone to hear. Most likely but his hearing was a lot sharper then anyone else given his lack of true vision. Giving a bit of a smile he leaned in closer to her and murmured, "They are a bit dumb but can't fault them for wanting to keep the mood up. Many others might end up getting swallowed up by fear and paranoia after all."
While he wasn't as sure as the others about Gyuri taking on the Oban king at least he wasn't speaking out against the idea. If he did so it might shake Eira and Borra, something that he didn't think would do the two any good. No, best that those who could sing and dance and lighten the hearts of others were kept in good spirits as well. They wouldn't be able to care for others if they were shaken up after all. Gyuri must know that as well he thought to himself, it was why he wasn't speaking up against the terrible battle plan that the other two had conconted. Instead he was just allow it all. He really was a good guy, letting them do such a thing. Then again how often did he seemed to be taking care of the more oblvious members of the group like a raptrix with a couple rowdy pups.
Giving another smile he said, "I suppose it will be up to use to keep an eye on them, hm?" He couldn't help but to laugh a little then, ever amused when he made jokes like that. There were only a few times here and there when his lack of eye sight bothered him, the rest of the time he was only too willing to make jokes about it. He wouldn't let it get him down and he wouldn't let it get others down either.
Gaddok looked up from his ventures to see a pair of piercing green eyes watching him curiously. His initial feelings were ones of concern and sorrow, but still mustered a smile as he flipped the leather cover over his pages, "Just writing of my travels to my mother. She gets far too concerned if she doesn't get letters regularly. I may not be able to write for a while, and she doesn't know I've joined the war effort." A twinge of guilt pierced his face as he thought of how Aerilyn would react to him sending a letter instead of confronting her outright.
He shuffled to the right a bit giving the child some room to sit if she so pleased, "There's quite a commotion out here. What brings you to the war front?" Gaddok asked feeling himself becoming instinctively protective of this lone little girl. 'Where were her parents, and why weren't they watching after her.' he thought as he began to worry that she was orphaned or lost.
