As Emir started speaking, Jasper started once more pretending that the diva didn't exist and just took one more sip of his extremely Japanese beverage. Bubble gum-flavored carbonated milk. Only in Kyoto...in any case, although Jasper was still entirely tuned in to everything everyone was saying (obviously except for Emir), he kept those deep blue eyes locked on Ren's teal ones as he waited for her answer. Nando was describing the various varieties of paranormal entities and although the subject had always been fascinating to Jasper, he had something more important to take care of. Cole hadmentioned that he may have done some breeding for them. Not for Jasper. He'd always been too proud and so his legendary team had been meticulously groomed and bred and raised specifically so that they were absolutely perfect for Jasper's purposes and for nothing else. Each had its purpose and each purpose was both self-sustaining and simultaneously custom-fitted to the team as a whole. But in any case, he was legit about to bequeath his single most valuable possession to her on the same day that she and him and a small group of Pokemon elites from all around the globe were gathered in one place.
((Oh snap, Ren's being offered the briefcase....where Jasper keeps an original "Trade Please" holographic Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise under four different locks and keys. After the handcuff, there's a 4-number combination lock, a keyhole, and keypad that requires colors instead of numbers or letters...all of which need to be done while Jasper keeps one hand on the hand-print scanner on the underside, which is visible only as a hand-shape that's a few shades lighter than the rest of the case. @_@ he way too protective of his stuff))

She kept silent, mostly not associating with everyone, except Yuki, who seemed to be the one who knew what was going on, Jasper, and her attention turned to Emir when he called her a lapdog. She narrowed her eyes at him, "I don't have to dignify that with an answer." She responded in a grumble, then blinked and took a sip of her yogurt flavored drink and nibbled on her pocky.
When Jasper started talking again, she looked towards the blonde and stared a little at him when he motioned to the case, she opened her mouth, closed it, opened it again. Repeat a few times, looking like a beached fish, "S-sure!" She responded quickly, blinking in shock.

Out of Charizards // Emir, I think you made yourself an enemy. Also. I was waiting for Cheren to post, but, I guess not xD
Without hesitation, as soon as Ren accepted his offer, the key was unlocking the handcuff from his own wrist and he was free.
"Then they're yours to keep and do with as you please. Of everything I own, these are the most valuable Ren-chan...and not just because they're collectively worth almost 6,000 quid, so who better to have them than the person who I treasure most?"He said as he handed her the case and the key to the handcuffs."I've been waiting for the best time to give them to you, and figured this would be it; I reset the locks last night. Place your hand on the sensor and just enter your own combinations and they'll set."
And then he turned to the others, rubbing his slightly sore wrist. Military-grade handcuffs tended to be that way when worn for a long time. And then he adressed those who were paying attention. If someone missed it, their loss.
"Inside that briefcase is three pokemon cards. They are Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise respectively. More precisely these cards are original first edition Trade Pleases. As some of you no doubt are aware, they were released as a promotion with different artwork by Ken Sugimori, and were first available through the "Trade Please" campaign that ran from February 10th to July 31st in 1998. A flyer included with the Trade Please album by Suzukisan had to be mailed to MediaFactory along with any two Pokémon trading cards within the campaign period. The Please Trade promotional card, as well as one of these three, would then be sent back, completing the trade."Yes, a little show-offy with the trivia, but he felt that, now that he was handing it off, he was no longer required to keep it a secret that he owned all three. But then he locked eyes with Emir and all of his calm and genteel went out the window as he spoke to Ren, but made sure others could hear.
"Don't worry about Emir, Ren-chan. If the septic ginger diva says anything like that again, let me know and I'll handle it...by showing this bleeding yank how Her Majesty's most powerful battler throws down. And if he keeps it up, I'll just have to give him a special surprise once we're in."In defense of Ren, Jasper was nothing short of ferocious. Although he'd never in his life cheated, he knew a few people who liked to lace their cartridges with viruses, so that their opponent wouldn't be able to fight properly. He'd once gotten hit with one, and had never since been screwed up by it. But he had managed to get his hands on a few different variations. Emir would be hit by them all if he wanted to keep acting like a p***k. If that didn't work, Jasper would not hesitate to sic his team not on Emir's pokemon, but on Emir himself. He knew the flexibility that VR created.

"Quid" = £1 (british pound); which means his cards are worth upwards of $10,000 USD "septic" = American "ginger" = homosexual
((And because he insulted Ren, Emir has officially invoked Jasper's wrath.))
xxxxx With a subtle and soft spoken voice breaking the conversation, Jazz seemingly appeared out of nowhere behind the other guests. ”It’s always the insecure who overcompensate isn’t it?” Jazz replied to Jasper’s threats at Emir. Dropping his bag beside the limo’s rear tire, Jazz took a moment to examine the group though none of them really seem to impress him. He rolled his eyes at his company before leaning back into the limo’s side, arms folded across the chest in a casual posture.
”Name’s Jazz,” the teen added with a smile. Turning his attention to the pink-haired male, he could already determine the group had developed animosity towards this one. Though Jazz only recently arrived, he was close enough to hear the group’s conversation and introductions. He didn’t really care to make mental notes on who he liked or disliked, or even develop an opinion on them. He couldn’t care less. They were all strangers to him and this trip was probably a short one. Still, he’d have to remember to play nice. They were people he met online before; and that should count for something.
”Sorry for being late, Princess,” he said jokingly to Emir, a witty smile cracking itself onto Jazz’s face. Reaching into his pockets, the juvenile recovered a cigarette and lighter. It was a nasty habit, he knew it and he couldn’t wait to hear the others complain about it. Fitting the miniature death-stick between his lips, Jazz sparked the lighter with his thumb and lit the cigarette's end.
After finishing a long drag and exhaling it with his head turned to the side, the Canadian broke the silence, ”Hope you guys don’t mind. Been about twelve hours. And really, to the rest of you guys, my bad for being late.” Besides the delay in time, the flight wasn’t that bad. Jazz could only create complaint from the restriction of smoking but even then, he flew first class and the entirety of the travel was to be paid for – who could hate it?

SPEAKINGTHINKING Emir shrugged off Nando, before eyeing Itzel with raised eyebrows. He wasn’t cranky, he just didn’t enjoy snot nosed kids pretending to be friendly. He had made it entirely clear to Jasper and everyone else present he wasn’t here to take anyone’s sassy backchat. Just because he wasn’t some geeky world class champion didn’t mean he didn’t deserve to be here. He’d been selected just like the others and he wasn’t about to let himself be talked down to by anyone else’s pathetic sense of superiority. “If you didn’t want me to ask then refrain from mentioning it in your introduction.” The model replied, brushing off the kid once more before tilting his head to pay attention to Nando’s encyclopedic knowledge of the paranormal. After it all Emir simply let out chuckle, almost impressed. The kid knew what he was talking about that was for sure. “You ever meet any of those or just know about them?” he asked casually. Though it didn’t look like he’d be getting a response any time soon. Whatever.
He turned back to the younger brunette, squinting in concentration for a moment before smiling in appreciation. This one had yet to get on his nerves. “Hey thanks, I think I got a couple of those stashed away.” Emir said remembering a couple of shinies. Nothing big really maybe a poochyena or a sentret. All he remember was that they were pretty cute. Maybe he’d moved them into Y for Pokemon Amie. He’d check later. “You from the East Coast or somewhere else entirely?” the male continued politely. He barely registered any response from trainer and dog, his attention elsewhere. /Maybe a bagel? Or should I stick with fruit and granola for now…I kind of want bacon haven’t had that in a while…/ he thought. Even he wasn’t immune to the hunger everyone seemed to feeling. Though he hoped he could go a couple more hours without something. Showers, Virtual Reality, you know, priorities.
Turning his head to check if Eric was indeed returning with more children, the brit met eyes with him. For a moment he wondered the kid would actually say anything after trying so hard to be ‘cool and collected’. When he opened his mouth to speak Emir could only smile smugly. /Too easy./ he thought tuning out whatever he was saying about Ren’s present. He wondered if he was supposed to feel threatened. He supposed the blonde could have said anything and Emir still wouldn’t have cared. Trouble or not, he’d never held back his thoughts or his big mouth and no one was going to change that. If it was a fight the guy wanted, well, he really would rather avoid fisticuffs for a bit. He figured even as wiry as Jasper was, he hadn’t thrown a punch in his life. He hadn’t noticed Jazz walk over until he heard the guy’s observation. The model only snickered not bothering to add another word. Jazz had summarized everything perfectly. This kid was alright despite the ugly smell of tobacco that lingered on him.
“Try to keep it from happening again, Smart a**.” Emir replied with ease. Kids these day were so uncreative with their nicknames. Of course, the model had never liked smoking. He’d tried it a couple of time but it never really caught on for him. He scrunched up his nose for a moment before ignoring the stench. It was just this once he supposed. He wouldn’t develop black lung from one cigarette.“Hopefully you’re the last one.” The pinkette said with a tired sigh. He was so over the intros.

Eiji (Eric) had finally managed to get everyone's suitcases and bags Tetris'd into the limo's trunk, with barely enough wiggle space for any more. Satisfied with that small "accomplishment," and from playing Tetris a lot during his younger years, the Nintendo employee turned to the group. He looked over a clipboard with a list of names, and counted all the people present. "Alright everyone, there is still someone that has to get here, but time has run out for us and we need to get to Nintendo." Eiji checked his mobile phone to confirm the time as he said this. Five minutes to the hour, and there was still the travel time back to Nintendo headquarters. "If everyone would please get into the limo, we will be on our way," he smiled. It seemed that everyone was either getting along -- or in Emir and Jasper's case, making enemies.
Regardless, Eiji held the door open for everyone to climb in, and once that happened, he sat down as well. "Drinks and food are in the mini bar, please help yourself!" the employee offered with yet another smile. Shortly afterward, Eiji had put in a CD that began to explain various sights and locations in and around Kyoto, and it droned on like a rehearsed speech, if anybody cared to listen to it, they were more than welcome to.
The girl looked at Emir from the corner of her eye, “It's not my fault you're an uncultured swine.” She responded, giving a sweet smile and her voice was also sweet, though it didn't match the words coming from her lips. “Must be an uncouth barbarian, if people of your country have no sense of respect or decency towards loved ones.” She was still giving that saccharine sweetness as she turned on her heels, and walked towards the limmo. Ren climbed in and got herself situated, fixing herself a combination on the new gift she got from Jasper.

Jasper's response to Jazz was nonexistent. He was, by Jasper's definition, not entirely worth noticing. And although he was less than please to have to spend any amount of time in such close proximity to Emir. Oh well, just meant he would be in perfect range to smack the s**t outta the diva if he tried anything.
And then he was climbing into the limo, drink discarded into the proper receptacle, and butt planted right next to Ren. He heard about the snacks and drinks and so grabbed himself two things. First, out of his pocket he fished out and put into his mouth a piece of rose-sweat chewing gum. Second, he pulled a small bottle of sake from the fridge and poured two shots. He handed one to Ren and, as he looked to her with a big grin, said"Kanpai!"before downing his drink and tossing the disposable shot glass into ITS proper receptacle. In this part of the world, one drink to celebrate such an incredible honor was more than acceptable regardless of Ren's age. And it was an honor unlike any other, especially for those two.
((Translationssmile)
"Kanpai!" = basically means cheers.
((Come on people, I know there's more than just Emir, Ren, Jasper, and Jazz here.))
-- Kansai International Airport / Jasper, Tasha, Noa, Emir, Meiko, Ren, Cole, Tyler, Jazz, Strange People (no name-face recognition) / Excited, Nervous / Fine --
Yuki nodded contemplatively in response to Mei’s answers. “Ahh, so you and your mother lived in Shibuya-ken for some time…” he mused. “Did you enjoy Tokyo? I have only gone there occasionally with my mother.” He then smiled at Ren as he shook her hand. “Just Yuki is fine, Ren-kun,” he told her, still smiling. The boy merely watched as she ran off to get Jasper and her some snacks. Certainly, the distance to the vending machines was not great, but the blonde’s briefcase did look painful to carry, let alone move around with. Once again, he wondered what in the world he had in there that was too important to be left at home.
Jasper’s answer surprised him for a moment, but the accent did make sense. It only surprised him that the Londoner’s mother could have hailed from such a relatively unpopulated area when he himself appeared well-adjusted to city life. “Okinawa-ken; I see,” he replied. “Etto… Jasper-san, did you live in Okinawa for any time?” Yuki asked curiously. “I have never visited the islands, although my father claims to have sailed there to catch fish for his restaurant. It didn’t seem that he would be getting a response too soon, however, since Jasper seemed about to hand off his suitcase to Ren. This time, at least, Yuki did not mind the small slight, since he still wanted to know more about this mysterious case.
Of course, Yuki did not understand Emir’s reference to a lapdog—or at least, he didn’t think he had the right mental image—but he did catch Emir’s reciprocated praise of his English. “Arigatō, Emir-san,” he said, bowing deeply enough to even include his shoulders. “But my feat is not as impressive as yours. In Nihongo, we are taught the English language for many years, sometimes beginning before kindergarten, but not many of us know—or dare—to write or speak English with natives. We always worry about our accents and making sense.” He tilted his head at the Egyptian. “I… am making sense to you, yes? And to everyone else?” he added to the group as a whole. “I am not sure if my English is any better than my friends’, but I have tried to speak and write it correctly whenever possible. I figure that if I am to work for a global company later, I should at least learn how to use your language correctly.” Emir’s mention of Hollywood caught his attention again, though. Yuki’s eyes widened upon hearing this, and he gazed at the pinkette with open curiosity. “Hollywood?” he asked. “I have always wanted to visit there! What is it like living next to a movie industry?”
Having not studied the paranormal at all, Yuki completely missed everything Nando said about the matter. Hopefully, such would not be the focus of any part of this conference. The Japanese boy turned to Cole when he finally introduced himself. “Cole-san; a pleasure to meet you,” he said with a short dip of his head and nothing more. Like Jasper, he had never received anything from this red-bruno that he currently used in his competitive battling. Though they both preferred to breed their own battlers, Yuki at least was not averse to reducing breeding time with the flawed-gene leftovers of other’s breeding projects.
Finally, Ren accepted Jasper’s gift. As he handed it to her, he informed everyone of what was inside. “Inside that briefcase are three Pokémon cards,” he said. “Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise—original first edition Trade Pleases. They were released as a promotion with different artwork by Ken Sugimori, and were first available through the Trade Please campaign from February 10 to July 31, 1998. Everyone who wanted one of these had to mail a different flyer to Suzuki-san of MediaFactory for the company to complete the trade.”
Yuki’s mouth fell open. He knew those cards—owned them and the Trade Please card—as well! Why would Jasper bring three such valuable cards to a Nintendo conference?! If they were lost, either the dumpster or some lucky employee could resign several months’ paychecks… (Not that any self-respecting Japanese worker would.) Yuki dearly wanted to compare collections with him, especially given the other's suspected position in Britain’s top ten battlers, but before he could so much as open his mouth, Jasper resumed issuing threats to Emir. If he knew them better, he might have intervened, but as it was, Yuki only sighed heavily. Two of the most interesting or amazing players—in his opinion—but they both seemed to hate each other’s guts… If he got the chance, he might confront them individually later. Maybe…
Suddenly, another boy appeared seemingly out of nowhere, regarding everyone coolly. His name seemed to be Jazz… What a strange name. Nevertheless, as the Kyoto and Nintendo native of the group, Yuki felt obligated to resume his self-imposed duty of host. “Jazz-san; nice to meet you,” he greeted, tilting his head towards the newcomer. “It is fine; we have not left yet, yes?” Even Yuki could understand that Princess was directed at Emir, but he was still gratified to hear Emir reply and confirm his suspicions. Like Emir, Yuki wrinkled his nose when Jazz lit up a cigarette. “You… do know that you won’t be allowed to enter Nintendo with that, Jazz-san?” he asked. Instantly, he regretted his impulsiveness, but he rationalized it as merely following rules and protecting the sanctity of the company, after some effort.
It seemed that now Ren was joining in on the fight as well. While it did make sense, given that it was her very close friend who perceived himself as being insulted by Emir, Yuki quickly found himself growing weary of this constant tussle… He sighed again. They had all been invited here for their love of Pokémon, so why couldn’t they all see their commonalities and get along? Each person brought along his or her unique perspective of the game, so they could only collectively benefit from meeting like this… Maybe he would attempt to convey these sentiments to the teal-haired girl later? She seemed more likely to listen to him than either of the main combatants.
Finally, Eiji returned from stuffing everyone’s bags into the limo trunk. Consulting his clipboard, he addressed everyone, informing them all that they would finally be able to go to Nintendo. The biggest grin Yuki had ever shown his present company now stretched itself across his face. Nintendo was like a third home to him, and he couldn’t wait to get going. He clambered into the limo next to Ren, settling himself down just in time to see them down a glass of sake. This surprised him—Ren at least looked far too young to be imbibing such things. Should he stop her? But Jasper was around to take care of her… Since they were the only three in the limo at present (besides his mother and the chauffeur, Mitsuo-san), Yuki took this opportunity to attempt conversation with the blonde. “Jasper-san, you have those cards, too?” he asked. “So do I! I have the rest of the 1997 cards at home, as well. Okäsan collected those cards and gave them to me for my seventh birthday, and I have been collecting them ever since. My favorite cards are the Number 3 Trainer, Computer Error, Imakuni, and Ancient Mew cards. What about you?” *** (Besides you, Kimmy, and Intox, I'm stuck with finals until Wednesday evening; JD, Star, Cole, Chad, and Dots are effectively vegetables at the moment; Ocean has Net issues but has promised to post; Meso needs to post; and Stream is temporarily MIA for spring break. Meiko Hime 芽生
╔ ═══════════════════════════════════════ ╗
"Oh yes, it was fun to grow up in! I don't remember too much about living there though, since I was young then. But I do remember a few shopping trips I would go with my mother on." The green haired girl responded to Yuki's question, her excitement rising thinking of it. It was sure nice to visit the country of her childhood again. She had visited Kyoto once, but only during an overnight trip with her father. By then she was sure she had a small understanding of Pokemon.
Mei's attention was captured by the back and forth exchanges between Ren, Jasper, and Emir. The pair didn't seem to get along with the pink haired boy. She couldn't help but wonder why. They seemed to have known each other before meeting here. Made sense, most people knew others from one place or another. Even she did. Regardless, she turned her attention on Nando's eplination for the paranormal until something Cole said caught her attention. "Ah! I may have gotten a few shiny Eevee's from you. Thank you." She said politely, inclining her head slightly in thanks.
The passing off of the briefcase caught her attention. Rare cards? She'd had her own collection of cards, but nothing overly impressive. Besides a few rare Team Rocket and Gym Leader cards. She had owned a few more, but had since gotten lost in one of her various moves. As a little girl and an avid collector at the time, she cried for hours over them. It was a bit embarrassing to remember.
A new boy showed up, by the name of Jazz. Interesting name, that was for sure. Meiko opened her mouth to introduce herself when a waft of cigarette smoke came her way. Hoping it wasn't too noticeable, she stepped back a bit and closed her mouth. It was hard for her to breathe around smoke. Instead she settled for a tiny smile and a wave of her hand. An introduction would come later.
Finally, after hearing from the man who had helped take everyone's luggage, Mei joined the rest of the group into the limo, squeezing in by Yuki. Remembering Eiji's mention of the food and drinks in the mini fridge, she decided to get something herself. "Um, Miss Ren? Would you mind passing me some water please?" She asked politely, deciding it would be better to ask than reaching over others just for a drink.

{o.o.c. Terribly sorry, I meant to post but last week was busy between work and the plans that kept popping up out of the blue, and having like 6 people at my house and on the wifi at once makes my computer not want to work x.x And I've decided to quote people now, make it easier XD sorry I never did that before! }
Although Jasper was extremely well-adjusted to life in a big city, he'd spent enough time visiting his mother's parents that he was at the very least more than a little familiar with Japanese culture and customs. And Yuki was one of the few present that Jasper felt on an equal level with. He was more than happy to share some details.
"Hai, Yuki-kun. When I was little, I used to spend every summer with my grandparents. After I met Ren-chan, however, I became too busy caring for her and so my visits dwindled."At this point, Jasper glanced at his pride; his dearest companion, and unconsciously touched the collar he wore. He knew that some back home thought they were intimate, but although he loved her more than life itself, he had no intention of spoiling the great thing they had. In that brief moment, a grin of the highest joy flashed across his features. His first true smile since arriving in Japan and it lit him up."However I still managed to come from time to time between tournaments and whatnot. Really, you'd be shocked at how many people in the tube recognize you for something as inconsequential as just being a talented battler. Personally I just wish eventually someone shows up and defeats me for once. Nine years defending my title as the UK champion and it's not very exciting, all alone at the top."
It was true, Jasper had won his first national tournament at the tender age of only 12, and every single year since had remained totally undefeated in any official tournament held in the UK. Now he was 21 and even Ren, the only one who knew all his various strategies and countermeasures, still could not beat him without a perfect combination of her being lucky and him being unlucky. Not many knew that all he really wanted was to find someone who could beat him and give him a fight worth losing.
"Anyways, my manners. Where are they? The cards. Hai, they are original holographics obtained through the campaign, and I have quite a few Number 3 Trainers myself. As for Computer error, some would argue that it's more advantageous to the enemy, but there are some who can use it to their unexpected advantage."His eyes flicked over, again, to Ren. It was one if the most difficult lessons he'd taught her."Ancient Mew...only the highest of masters can use it to its full potential, what with Smartness and all. All very honorable cards, although I have a special fondness for Machamp."Somehow, it felt good to talk shop with someone who wasn't starstruck.

Jake Slater
Pokemon Champion and Trainer
Jake rolled over casually and ended up falling of the bench he had been sleeping on, hitting the floor with a dull thud. He slowly sat up and rubbed his eyes," Uhh How long have I been out? It was just a nap right?." He said before looking at his watch. His eyes grew wide as he jumped up," Damn! I'm always late to things that are important! Why did I have to stay up last night battling?! It was only suppose to be a nap!" Jake jumped up as quick as he could as he grabbed his backpack. He didn't bring much on the plane with him. He was always a light traveler.
After getting lost inside the airport and finally making his way outside, he could see some people standing around a limo, that looked as if it was about to leave," Hey don't you lave without me!" Jake yelled as he slowly jogged to a stop, panting," Someone...could have...woken....me up." H managed to get out between deep breathes. As he stood up he saw a few people standing around, but not as many as he thought there would be. Granted, if he didn't know them, there would have been no way for them to know to wake him up. After catching his breath, Jake spotted someone he actually knew. He walked over to Jazz and slapped him on the back," Hey man long time no see! How have you been? Can you believe we got selected for something so cool?!" Jake greeted his friend with enough enthusiasm to power a rocket. Jake was always a bit to hyper for his own good. But he found out that people reacted well to it. At least most of the time" And to everyone else my name is Jake Slater. A pokemon champion...in so little words. Hope to get to know you guys better! But I'm gonna get in this thing, before it leaves me." Jake slid into the limo as he set his bag down next to him. He spotted a mini-fridge and his eyes grew big. He was so hungry. He opened it and pulled out a drink and grabbed a bag of chips and immediately started chowing down before he noticed a few more people looking at him," Oh tho dats whr evy won is." He managed to get out with a mouthful of food. He swallowed as he took a drink and held out his hand" The names Jake Slater. Pokemon Champion and trainer."

[ CHRISTIAN ]
Christian had seen the coming of quite a few more people, now surprised that so many were chosen for the event. He of course wasn't too much for socializing and he hoped no one minded him just hanging around, keeping to himself and playing his Diamond game. Everyone was busy talking to one another, getting know what each other was about, and meanwhile he was just waiting for the event to begin. He didn't have to wait very long before the guy who met him and directed him outside cam and told everyone that they were to be leaving soon.
About time, Christian thought to himself as he packed up and heading towards the car, sliding in next to one newer guy in studded leather jacket. He certainly didn't look like someone who played Pokemon, but he knew better than to judge. He was offering to introduce himself. Christian couldn't help but smile. He wouldn't really bother getting on a first name basis with anyone specifically, seeing as his last small attempt at socializing didn't work out so well.
OOC: I am not a vegetable, just patient! XD No one's talking to Chris and he's just here to play a game.

SPEAKINGTHINKING“Sorry, I don’t speak Pretentious b***h. Try the Brit; he’s fluent.” Emir replied flatly without even giving Ren a second look as he seated himself a far away as possible from the idiotic pair. He felt he had the right to not associate with them anymore and that a blunt response would be enough to signal a general ‘Bite me’ vibe. Managing to reach for a bottle of water and a couple bags of peanuts before the limo began to be filled in, Emir sat contently right next to the window. He was curious about where they were. He hoped he could take a stroll around the sights after the first day’s work. Despite the crowd that was starting to file in, the limo was still spacious and comfortable. He felt content popping a few cashews into his mouth and waiting for the limo to pull off. He turned his attention to Yuki shrugging him off. He wouldn’t respond if he genuinely couldn’t understand the kid. “When you’re learning a language you get better feedback if you talk with native speakers. The way I learned it was that it’s better to talk a lot of the language so it sounds more natural when you need it.” He replied. At least that was what his Spanish teachers had said in high school.
He flashed a grin at the mention of Hollywood. “Awesome of course. You’d love it. There’s always loads to do. They’ve got a Universal Studios, Tours of the Movie Stars, the Hollywood Walk of fame…You get my drift. But the best part are the beaches where you get to talk to all kinds of rad people.” The model replied listing off the few of many tourist attractions. Of course there was even more things to do but listing out everything would have been too tedious. “When you visit try to keep hydrated. I’ve seen a few tourists pass out from chugging damned cokes instead of actual water.” Emir added. He eyed the Japanese boy for a moment wondering what he was getting so high strung about. Maybe he didn’t like conflict. The pinkette rolled his eyes at the thought looking back at the window and shoving a few more peanuts into his mouth. As per usual, he tuned out of the conversation glancing at Eric as he began saying things about the town. He’d consult him later about going off to get a couple of souvenirs during the event.
Just before the car rolled off to take them to their wonderful destination somebody ran up to the car. Emir kept himself from groaning, begging the gods above to cut off the participants already. He wanted to LEAVE! He was sick of people showing up out of nowhere. /Father give me strength…/ he thought quietly, trying to keep himself from scowling. Though at the mention of having someone to wake him up Emir had to bite his tongue from lashing out at the kid for thinking that a grown a** man, such as himself, had to bother with making sure Jake had been on time. /I take it back I may be…a tad cranky now…/ he thought, focusing on his breathing. As the kid in the leather jacket sat himself down he tried not to zone in on the idiot’s mouth. “Jesus Christ, Slater, shut your mouth and swallow before you choke on that crap.” He snapped. “No one’s gonna take your chips away, honey.”
“Not deaf.” The male muttered as he took a drink of his water bottle before replying with his name. “Emir Kouri. Nice to meet you.”
As he looked over the excitable kid, which hell he couldn’t blame him but it was early, he noticed another kid with glasses get in. As he focused on his game, the pinkette asked loudly enough to hopefully get his attention. “Who’re you again?” He didn’t recall if he’d mentioned his name or not. He relaxed in his seat waiting for a response to his question.

Christian had almost missed the comment from the boy with the salmon colored hairdo. He was one of the first if he remembered right, but sometimes he didn't remember right, so he could've been anybody. Christian studied him for a moment before responding "Chris." From everything he had overheard from him talking to the other folks he was kind of an obnoxious character. Not really someone Chris would normally associate with so he turned his gaze to look out the window. Fortunately he was close enough to one of the mini bars that he leaned over, excusing his reach, and getting a Coke for himself instead of a bottle of water, needing some sugar. He liked that they had thought of this for them. They really were on a first class trip here. What else waited them at the end of their ride though?
