Oblivion - Feral Diabi Company: Avani Position: Observation Station Levi glanced toward the throng of people that blocked the way between the observation station and the merchant stalls. His tail flicked in uncertainty. Taking Avani through that without losing her would surely be a challenge... But he couldn't expect her to simply wait around for the stars to start falling! What would be the fun in that?! Slinking close to her side, close enough that his feathers brushed against her arm, he nodded. "Sure." He agreed. "Maybe we can find a book or something about it. Or maybe one of the merchants even has some stardust! That would be a cool souvenir." Not that Levi had a use for such a thing, so he didn't care too much. But it would be neat to see what they had for sale!
He flicked her shoulder with his tail as he moved forward. Most of the two-leggers seemed willing enough to get out of his way. As they should! Levi didn't have time to waste waiting on them to remove themselves from his path! With a scoff, he held his head high and made his way toward the stalls that smelled of sweaty two-legger, mingled with food, and paper and magical ingredients. The sounds and shouts they made were practically deafening, but Levi didn't mind too terribly much. "Where do you think looks good?" he glanced back to see that the young girl was practically dwarfed by everyone and everything around her. He quirked an eyebrow. "Can you even see anything?"

Fluffesu Avani would consider them friends since he didn't eat Kin, let alone her xD Avani - Orderite Farmer Apprentice Company: Oblivion Position: Observation Station
Avani looked around as the walked through the stalls with Oblivi, not even noticing that people moved away from the pair. Though she did notice him sticking close to her, and his feathers and tail touching her from time to time. She wondered if that tail had a mind of it's own... But there was no time for such thoughts! So much to see, not to mention the smells and sounds. She didn't particularly care for the shouting, but it was worth it to see such an event. Besides, she was to busy looking around. She looked up at Oblivion as he ask his questions and smiled. "I can't see what they are selling." She said blushing a little, but she looked up at Oblivion and asked seriously, "But it's just fun being here isn't it?" She smiled brightly and said, "I mean, it's nice just to be out with a friend! Right?"She didn't care if she saw what they were selling, having fun with a friend at a big event was all that mattered to her.

Apple Blossom19 Let's get Levi talking a little bit... Oblivion - Feral Diabi Company: Avani Position: Observation Station Levi tilted his head, then glanced to one of the stalls. He wasn't really interested in the objects they were selling, so he supposed physically seeing them wasn't really a selling point for him, either. Still, he kinda thought it was something that was supposed to be enjoyed at this kind of event! Not that he frequented this type of thing... Khehora generally weren't allowed into the two-legger's city festivals unless they were Bonded or Khehorian. Which Levi was neither. "It's certainly... new." He agreed, lips quirking up in amusement. "And I do like being here with you, friend."

Avani - Orderite Farmer Apprentice Company: Oblivion Position: Observation Station
Avani beamed up at him and hugged what she could of him. He was too big for her small arms! She let go of him and then started off saying, "Let's see if we can't find something I can keep for a souvenir!" She turned to look at him, "We'll find you something too..." She didn't know what he would like, but she wouldn't mind spending some of her extra gold. Perhaps he would like something to eat....

Oblivion - Feral Diabi Company: Avani Position: Observation Station
Levi's tail swished delightedly. As much as he deserved all manner of affection and attention for his beauty and grace, it was surprisingly something he didn't receive much of. Perhaps most of his admirers were just shy. It was a nice change of pace to find a lady who wasn't! "Sure!" He agreed with new found delight. "But I don't really need anything. Souvenirs are two-legger treats." He assured, sauntering along at Avani's side.
The Diabi walked through the booths curiously. Each stall held something unique and different, all homemade by the craftsmen and scholars that had come to sell their wares. Some had cute little wooden figurines of dragons, khehora and even the mountains! There were books and scrolls of fairy tales and magic, food from all across Magesc, and fluffy pelts to keep warm for the night on Ayr. It sure did seem like a lot to choose from..."Mmm... What kind of things are you interested in?" Levi asked Avani with a tip of his head.

Fluffesu Dat picture.... too cute... Avani wanting to make him cuter!!! cat_whee Avani - Orderite Farmer Apprentice Company: Oblivion Position: Observation Station
Avani was determined to give him something to remember this festival by, so she looked around for herself as well as for Oblivion. So much was offered! She was wanting a book about the starfall really. But when she saw what was offered, she didn't like it. But at one stall there was a carving of a feathered kehhora that had been painted black. She went over to it, and saw that it was pure black, with black stones for eyes. It wasn't quite like Oblivion, but it was something to remember the day by! When she went back over to Oblivion she showed him the small trinket and smiled brightly. "It's not quite like you, but it will be a perfect reminder of a good friend and festival!" She then took out something else she had bought and slipped it around Oblivion's neck, trying to be sneaky. It was a small wooden star painted a red orange. She thought he should have a color like her hair if she would have a black kehhora statue! "Now!" she said placing the kehhora carefully in her pack with a bunch of protective wrapping around it, "If you don't want a two-legged treat, we can find you something to eat that you won't forget... Perhaps there is a barbaque around here...."She sniffed the air and followed the smells...

Rosetta ; Orderite Apprentice
Company ; none
Position ; Observation Station I am a vaired rp-er! quote me and i'll get back to you soon (anywhere from within an hour to a day or two later)
~ The little red-headed Orderite had just settled down on a nice little blanket when she got her first real glimpse of the spectacle that was unfolding above her. She had only ever heard of the star showers from dusty books with worn covers or in the same sentence as 'once in a blue moon'. Needless to say, she was quite excited when she had seen the flyers that had appeared. So Rosetta packed a blanket and a snack and a little pouch of money in a basket before setting off to the observation deck, her white cloak billowing out behind her as she swooped to her destination. Before sitting down she had purchased a magnification instrument from a scholar that greeted her on the way up, fiddling with the dials on it before bringing the piece to a golden eye. My, she never knew how many colors the sky could hold.

Apple Blossom19 FFFF. So much adorable happening! We need to change our position to Merchant Stalls too, since we moved. XP Oblivion - Feral Diabi Company: Avani Position: Merchant Stalls
Levi chuckled in amusement when he saw the Alihora trinket Avani brought back with her. He couldn't help but stand a little taller and a bit more dignified. Of course these silly two-leggers would try and capture his beauty in their toys and carvings. It wasn't perfectly in his image, but Levi hadn't come into contact with many other feathered Khehora who were as dark in color as he was... But the mimicry itself was very flattering. Even more so that Avani liked it enough to take it home with her...
While he was admiring her toy, he hardly noticed she was slipping something else about his neck until her arm flicked across his vision for a moment. When he glanced down to see the necklace, his ruby orbs widened in surprise. If he was just a few shades lighter, a tinge of pink would've spread across his nose. "You... got this for me?" He murmured, staring down at the painted wooden star that shone boldly against his black feathers. Levi had always liked bright colors. Yes, he adored his own dark pallet, but seeing something so bright and warm against his black hues was a welcome sight. "Thank you. I'll treasure it."

Fluffesu Well, Avani wanted him to have something. Like I said, I see the good in him. He's just a big kitty! Also, the sheron sticks are taken from my own experience with meat sticks at the county fair. OMFG SO MUCH YUMMY FOR A DOLLAR >.< Avani - Orderite Farmer Apprentice Company: Oblivion Position: Merchant Stalls
Avani felt her face grow red and smiled brightly besides the embarrassment of having gotten caught. "Well, you need something to remember such an event! I mean, I'll always remember this day when I look at the little carving!" she scratched her head for a moment and then looked away saying, "You're welcome, I'm glad you like it."It was a small wooden star, but hopefully he would look at it and remember he had at least one friend. She had no friends from her old home to remember, but now she had at least Sueno and Ismene. And she knew when she was older, and in need of a good memory, she would look at her carving and remembered for one day nothing mattered but a good friend and food. Speaking of food... She twitched her little nose and smelt the aroma of cooked sheron meat. Perhaps they had Sheorn Sticks! "Oh! Let's check out the food!" she said tugging at his wing, "Perhaps they have some Sheron Sticks!"She ran off ahead of the big Khehora trying to see if she was right!

Apple Blossom19 I love county fair meat sticks. emotion_kirakira I dunno what kind of sauce they use, but it was possibly the best fair food I ever had. Close tie with funnel cakes, yum! Oblivion - Feral Diabi Company: Avani Position: Merchant Stalls
Oblivion glanced down once more at the little star he'd been gifted. He didn't have a particularly poor memory, so surely he'd be able to remember the event whether he had a present from it or not. But the thought that Avani cared enough... That she didn't want him to forget her. he couldn't help but notice the deep red-orange was strikingly similar to the young Orderite's hair... "You don't have to worry." He promised. "I won't forget."
When his gaze turned back up, he became painfully, acutely aware that she'd already scampered off. Oblivion deadpanned. She was so small! So easy to lose in a crowd! So easy for any stranger to scoop up! With a roll of his eyes, he trotted after her, shoving smaller Magescians out of his way until he'd caught up with his orange haired friend. he didn't know much of 'Sheron Sticks,' but anything made of meat couldn't be that bad!
So when they came upon a booth that sold the tasty treats, Levi made an executive decision to barter a few of his lovely silken feathers for a couple of the treats. It was obvious that the merchant was slightly confused by the transaction, and wasn't entirely sure how to hand the meat over to the large Alihora. With a huff, Oblivion scooped two of the sticks up in his maw, and leaned down to offer one to Avani.

Avani - Orderite Farmer Apprentice Company: Oblivion Position: Merchant Stalls then Observation Station
Avani hapilly took the sheron stick from Oblivion and happily ate it as they walked back to the Observation Station. As Avani licked her fingers clean, she began to wonder if they needed to choose a spot for the starfall. She looked around the Observation Station and found more people had arrived and were setting out blankets and settling in for the show. She looked around and saw a solitary Orderite with dark red hair. She didn't like the fact that someone was viewing the show alone, and so, once again leaving Oblivion's side, marched up to her. "Hello!" she said approaching her and smiling, "Are you viewing the show alone? Do you think we can join you? An event like this is not to be taken in without friends!"

~ Rosetta startled when the little orange-haired Orderite paraded up to her. She was so focused on following the streaking stars with her little magnification instrument that she almost dropped it when the voice rang so close to her. She set the gadget in her lap shakily, her golden eyes meeting the seemingly inviting green. "I . . . I - " she began, but was cut off by the little girl's rapid fire questions. She recoiled a bit, her timidness making an appearance. "Y - you can join me." Rosetta murmured, shifting over on her little white blanket so the girl could sit next to her. She took no notice of the girl's "we" in her question, glancing at the girl before biting her lip nervously. She was small like she was, but her wings were much smaller than her large white ones. Yet, she seemed to carry so much positivity in her tiny frame that she radiated confidence. Her smile was very reassuring, which caused Rosetta to cower a bit less. She felt awkward just sitting there, letting the silence stretch. She didn't know what to say to the stranger, so she began humming softly like she does often. She fiddled with the dials on the instrument in her lap, tucking an unruly curl back in the sea of red.

Oblivion - Feral Diabi Company: Avani and Rosetta Position: Observation Station
Oblivion crunched into the new treat as they sauntered back toward the Observation deck. He was starting to see how hands could be of some use when eating these two-legger treats... The thin wooden stick was a pain to maneuver about with his teeth, and he was sure he ended up crunching into and swallowing more than he should have before he spat the remainder of it out on the ground. He dared anyone to call him on it. See how he responded. The Diabi huffed and flicked his tail.
He followed Avani a few paces before he realized that she was heading toward another young Orderite. he didn't recognize the youngster with bright red hair, and shining white wings, and as he trudged ever closer he realized that Avani didn't either. So why she decided to approach the other girl was a mystery to him. The red-haired lass probably wouldn't take kindly to a large, feathered Diabi sharing the celebration with her...
But then, what did Levi care about that? He shrugged and plodded after his small Orderite companion, taking up a perch on the ground, where he had a good view of the stars, as well as a watchful ruby orb on the two youngsters."Hello." He greeted with minimal interest.

Fluffesu Sorry I've been neglecting this one! Kadryn grabbed some supplies and put her new pot on the make shift stove. "I think something different than meat would be good,"she said to Samael, "Something you probably haven't eaten yet! Some hot and spicy soup with wontons!" Tarlon gave the two Khehora's a toothy grin. " 'Ello to ye as well. Ah'm Tarlon, yon tyke's uncle!""Not a tyke anymore Uncle." Kadryn said in amusement as she grabbed some noodles, spices and a chunk of meat. "Haven't been for several years now!""Pssh! Ye're always a tyke! Ye wanna not be one? Get some height on ye!"

Avani smiled and sat down. She didn't say much, but Avani didn't mind! "I'm Avani, and this is Oblivion. Don't worry, he won't eat you... He likes Sheron a lot more!" she leaned back on her arms and looked up at the sky. She then said to no one in general, "I wonder, if the legends are true, what this starfall heralds?" she could see the sun setting more now and saw some star streaks in the sky. "They are pretty though... I can't wait till the main event begins!"She then brought out her blanket from her knapsack and looked back and forth between her two companions and said, "I have an extra blanket and some sweet cakes if you get cold or want a snack!" she laid the blanket on her lap and pulled out the rest of the sweatcakes that her mother had given her, and the milk. She then pulled out the other sandwiches and said to the girl beside her, "I can share one with you if you get hungry! Oblivion can have the other if he wants!" she patted one of Oblivion's front legs giggling, "He needs more than us since he's so big!"
