Aya clicked her tounge and raced after him. "You want me to skate for you again or would you like to go inside and lay by the fire? We only have a little time left here."

Robin chuckled, imagining curling up on the rug like Chopin. "I'll play another tune for you, if you'd like to skate again. And then we could go inside to warm up and find some food?" He clambered ungracefully up to the bench, changed back into his boots, and reached for the violin case.

Robin began more quickly this time. He lifted Elizabeth out of her case, set her beneath his chin, and played. Mozart, for the Crobat who was probably just waking from her daytime slumber beneath the bridge in Katarina. He would be glad to return to the cabin after being out in the cold all day, but Robin could never be very unhappy while he coaxed music from Elizabeth. [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mprBUEnM14 ]

After a while of walking, Chris had finally found her way to the skating area. It was a good idea to look at the map at first or else she would still be out there searching for it. She looked at the lake of ice and noticed the drilled holes that was used for ice fishing. Not too far from it was the stall that once held all the fishing rods. Now, it had changed its sign to "Free skates rental" and a few trainers stood there ready to return their skates to go somewhere else.
She stood in line, waited for her turn, took the skates, walked over to the nearest fold out beach chair, and took off her shoes. She put pn her shoes and wobbled over to the iced lake and stepped on it.
At first it took some getting used to, but in the end she got the hang of it and started to skate faster on her own. The light breeze that blew the snow into the nice sunlit sky made it look like tiny sparkles. Chris skated around until she needed a break. Instead of going back to the beach chair, she sat near the edge of a path leading to the valley.
She dug her hand inside her bag and took out a pokeball. There, nearby a snowed on shrub, she released her derling once again to give him some fresh wintery air. Knowing that noone was near, she watched the other trainers glide on ice. Amazed at the skills some of them have, it felt like she was watching the winter olympics.
Chris sat there until Kiwi started to make a soft honking noise and nudged her elbow with his head. Surprised, she turned to look at what was going on. The deerling had walked away after he had nudged her and was standing anxiously around a half withered awayed snowbank by the wind. As she stood up, she noticed a bright orange rounded object hidden under it. As she got closer, she was certain of what's there. A poke-egg!!
Why was there an egg by the lake out in the snow? Was it placed there deliberately by the Captain's orders for Chris to find the egg? Was it placed there by another trainer? Where are the parents of this little egg?
Chris looked around for any sort of footprints. Alas, with the wind that happened to be there, it scattered snow all over the place and covered all of the tracks. She couldn't find anything on the ground except for her own deerling's hoofprints.
Adrenaline rushed to her body. She took off her skates, held it in her left hand, and unzipped her jacket halfway with her right hand. "i'm sorry Kiwi, you will have to run back to the cabin with me," she spoke as she grabbed the egg and put it against her chest and zipped her jacket back up. The snow felt cold on her feet and clung onto her socks.
Chris ran the short distance back to the skates rental shop and returned her pair of skates. She would have to come back later to enjoy her time skating if she wants to keep the egg alive.
(( exits the skating area ))
"Come Kiwi, follow me all the way, alright." she told her deerling as she finished puttin on her shoes and was already running into the direction where the cabin was located. She had never ran so fast and so willingly since she was a child. She huffed and puffed as she made her way back to the cabin. Ears red and frozen, along with her nose, she scrambled back inside, tired. The snow inside her shoes melted an she walked back into her room with wet socks on her feet.
Before she did anything else, she placed the egg on the nearest vacant bed and covered it with the fluffy duvet blanket it came with. The she took off her jacket and kicked off her shoes. Her deerling was observant and took off Chris' wet socks for her before he jumped onto the vacant bed beside his trainer.
Chris petted him and together, they snuggled underneath the blanket, with the unknown egg between them to keep it wam. "What do you think is inside, Kiwi?" she asked as she rubbed the egg with her bright yellow gloves. "if it was an egg dropped by a trainer i am sure they will make an announcement about it later on today." Kiwi answered her with another soft honk followed by a grunt.
She laid there in bed, curled up beside the egg and stared at it. Maybe it was a fire type because of its markings. Or... Another normal type? Who knows. Until time will tell, and she prayed to god that she was able to keep whatever was inside of it after the egg had hatched... Chris wished her roommates would come back so she could show them what she had found, but the more she waited, the more she started to fall asleep. As her body temperature started to rise again being under the blanket, it made Chris become drowzy, perfect for a nap as she laid ontop of the comfy bed. Beside her, her deerling already fell into a deep sleep from after all the running he had to do.
"I'd like to take that egg home!"

Poised against the Ice Aya let the musics rythym sink in before taking off. One, two, three... She skated forward spinning into a piroutte before taking a jump. She kept her eyes on the moon as her point and began her spin around the smooth circle they kept. Her body flowed with the light and the sound of the music across the ice. She settled smoothly into the soft flow of the beginning and as he grew faster she began to get more excited. Jumping and twirling, even drawing her stops into the rythym of the dance. Her eyes glittered as she spun on the ice carving out movements that she hadn't done since she was young. When the music stopped she slid down and sat on the ice her legs folded neatly under her. She thought about how much fun she had just had. How she would love to get back to see Robin at the edge of the Ice. She stood and slid across the smooth surface to see his response.

Robin watched entranced as Aya once again transformed his music into motion, into dance. Simply playing had always made him happy, but adding another dimension to the performance was incredible. He smiled when the music ended and Aya dropped gracefully to the ice. He quickly packed Elizabeth away, then held a hand out to his friend as she approached, to help her back onto solid ground. "Beautiful," he said. "Absolutely beautiful."

Eyes glowing Aya reached forward and gave robin a kiss on the cheek. Her breathing was still heavy from the movement and she sat down on the bench absently running her fingers over very as she took her skates off. "That was a workout" she said sighing. "But it was fun wonderful" She stood and wobbly back on the ground readied herself to return to the cabin.

Chopin woke and stretched as the humans returned. She gave Very a couple of licks on the forehead before hopping off the bench and trotting on ahead toward the lights of the cabin. "I can imagine," Robin chuckled. "I doubt I'd ever be capable of those sorts of acrobatics. But you make it look easy." He shivered, and even in the dark he could see his own breath. The dousings of snow were beginning to seep through to his skin. "It's definitely time to get inside." He picked up the violin case and extended a steadying hand to Aya. [Exit to ORP]
