:3 Your class's accreditation surpasses my own, so you can totally have a class in creative writing (I might join it with a student character!)
Pleasure to meet you, by the way -- I'm the librarian.
I can do whatever, I actually do a Creative Writing Degree and tbh it's basically an English BA but more Creative... Kinda... It does everything even Literature.
Nice :3 I just have a hobbyist's interest in the stuff; have you read the works of H.P. Lovecraft?
Not really, although, we all know whom Cthulu is right? More a classics guy myself... Petticoats and Manor Houses.
Fair enough. I have to get my murder fix every week or I get grumpy and tired, though. Right now I'm reading Serial Killers: The Method and Madness of Monsters by Peter Vronsky, as well as Silence of the Lambs again (Lecter is my favourite character, ever).
Now, what's your opinion on the Oxford Comma? emotion_awesome

Lol, hmmmmmm, I do need a does of Byronic Hero every now and then I suppose.
And the Oxofrd Comma, as in the one that goes before 'and' in a list... IDGAF tbh.

Hmm...I like the Byronic hero quite a bit. The funny part is that I have at least 2 copies of writings by Byron on the bookshelf to my right, and I've read neither of them yet.
What do you think of "Faust"? The play, not the character specifically. I'm reading it right now and I still like Mephistopheles best.

Byron... he's... interesting to say the least. The nutjob kept a bear in his university room... Just cause.

Faust? Good. Really good.
*significantly amused*
I do hope I end up reading all of Faust before I forget about it.

Awwwh well, if you do you do.
Still Faust has nothing on The Inferno.
I do indeed like the Inferno; Dante did an excellent service to literature by writing it. I recommend John Ciardi's translation if you intend to read the English version, it maintains the rhyme scheme better than other translations I've seen.

I used Oxford Press. No beating British my friend.

I suppose it's a matter of preference; I personally really like Ciardi's translation, but I think I'll look into the Oxford Press version as well. When I learn the Italian Dante wrote the Inferno in I'll just read that, though. :3

Now that's just effort xD
I have to say, though, there's something about reading in the original language that really gives poetry an edge. =)

Can I have a PhD in Badassery!?
As much as this made me laugh, I don't think we can have a class on badassery.
Oh I disagree there, Madame Vice Captain. Being a dragon demon but in human form, you definitely need a class in badassery. I certainly want to rp, and you need all kinds of classes. I am very intelligent, but a demon, which the other students may or may not know about. Having a professor that knows about such things would be a great thing to RP off of, if you get my meaning. Imagine a demon in college girl's clothing infiltrating the P.U. All the possibilities are staggering. Would she be a good girl, a bad girl or a little of both. What is her reason for being here? Do you understand? You might need such a professor.

Everyone quoted in here is quoted because they posted in the guild this month. Anyone is welcome to reply to this, quoted or not quoted. Sumi(the Captain) and I are wondering who all rps and who is interested in the Puyat University rp. We also want to announce that members can now be teachers too. It is no longer a crew only thing. Anyone can be a teacher or student. And all of my classes are currently open to students.
If you're not an rper or don't want to join in feel free to say so or to ignore this post. If you do rp and/or would like to check out Puyat U please let me know. Thank you.
Quoting me is appreciated.

I would love to RP, but I cannot start until Jan 27- after Ohayocon since I am a senior staffer. And please don't tell me no one here has heard of Ohayocon ( check it out at Ohayocon.org) the largest winter Anime and Japanese pop culture con in the Midwest!
